The "Icons" start about five posts in on that page, with Padraig's post that begins, "I was shown, in prayer another place, another time; it was the South of France, Gaul many centuries ago. I saw a Roman Legion collected with the Standards in front ,very imposing and war like..."

The "Icons" continue over the next several pages of the thread.

    I hope that helps!

For those who have his book, the timeline Birch gives starts on page 549, Chapter 12; the timeline begins on pg. 553, "A Hypothetical Chronology Table". He concludes the chapter with the words, "This is not a time to either fear the arrival of antichrist and/or the end times. This is a time for hope, prayer, and work towards renewal of contemporary and future Christian life and vigor." As Mary said at Fatima, "In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph and a certain period of peace will be given to the world."

Perhaps no longer present in the Tabernacles - but they can never remove Him from our hearts!

It's a bit like going to the dentist. You're a bit scared going but on the way back you're glad you had the courage that you went.

At the moment its a bit like getting getting a tooth pulled without an injection. But we won't all be at the dentists forever. Soon we'll be going back home, glad that we went there.

We must pray and take Refuge in the Immaculate Heart.

This will be our Pain Killer and Guide.

I really recommend singing the Ave Maris Stella.

He who sings prays twice!! even if like me you sing like a crow! :D;)

Such a source of joy and hope and peace at the present time!!

This is a helpful recapitulation posted by Daniel on page 16 of Padraig's account of the Icons.

Has anyone heard about this theory regarding something (disaster/attack) that is planned for Seattle on 3 November (today, but not necessarily this year)? This was brought to my attention today and I immediately thought about the vision Padraig had which seemed to relate to Seattle. This video explains the theory but unfortunately the guy's accent is a little hard to listen to!

And this video from yesterday references the new Akita message:

    Definition of epiphany
3a(1) : a usually sudden manifestation or perception of the essential nature or meaning of something
    (2) : an intuitive grasp of reality through something (such as an event) usually simple and striking
    (3) : an illuminating discovery, realization, or disclosure
    b : a revealing scene or moment

So last month on the evening of October 11th as I finished the day's work on the land in the mountains that God led us to a few years ago, and that we've been like caretakers working on and learning how to grow food, work the land mostly with our hands, etc., I had an epiphany. This has happened only a couple times in my life, the last time was when I saw this piece of land 4 1/2 years ago and knew we were to buy it. That evening, in a matter of a second or two, I suddenly knew what the purpose of the land was, and what would cause people to come to it. I have had ideas in my head for the past few years and have been praying for enlightenment ("can you fill me in, Lord?"), but I didn't "know".

But I knew at that moment also, somehow, that these icons that you posted, Padraig, were true and show what is going to unfold in our country (I'm American). I don't know if that's tomorrow, a month from now, or years from now. But, as Sister Agnes reported, I felt the time is near.

The most interesting thing about the epiphany was a complete sense of calm and purpose that came over me. And how complete the knowledge was, I knew these things as sure as I know my name. Not sure how that works, mabye infused knowledge? Who knows, but I was not nervous or worried at all. Rather I felt, and still feel, very calm, determined, and have a complete sense of purpose. So, there you go...prophet indeed you are, Padraig :)

I am a little envious of you , living the lifestyle you do ,close to the Earth. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why our forefather were closer to a strong Faith than we; that they lived a poorer more humble life than we. We got richer and more sophisticated and found we didn't need God and so dumped Him.

Before mass yesterday a thought came into my mind to make a pot of chicken soup. I haven't done that in years. So I bought a little chicken some pulses and veg and it was beautiful (I am not so sure about the garlic and Italian herbs I added but there you go. Who has the time to make real chicken soup?:)

I do get time to make home made wine and bread, thank God.

It's these little things that bring so much joy.

You remind me that in the Future we are going to loose loads and loads of things but going to gain so much more. Most especially our knowledge of our real need for God.

I came across this little musical Protestant family a while back whom I love to listen to. They appear to have embraced the same kind of lifestyle you have and which I aspire to. It is a reminder that the Holy Spirit is calling so many to, 'Come out from amongst them'.

We are not there full time...yet. Living a dual life still. We are still in the city working my day job and kids at school and their activities. But we go 1 day during the week and each weekend the 1 hour drive up to the mountain land and work it and then come back. But one day, maybe soon, we will be there full time working hard and living simply. I truly believe it’s how God intends for us all to live to get back close to Him and away from the constant technology and ease of everything that disconnects us from one another.

    I
Have lived a rural life for many years. My husband grows much of our fruit and veg and for years I processed it for the winter. We heat primarily with wood. Again he is the one who does all the work. Years ago we both felt a compunction to do this although we had no clear idea why but we followed the inspiration and have come to realize it is God who drew us. It is labor intensive by today's standards but it is a good wholesome peaceful life.

Do you do a winter crop? We’ve got Broccoli, Cauliflower, and Brussels Sprouts going now and they are growing great. No bugs or diseases this time of year.

Tomorrow is wood chopping day. Have to cut up the last of a large tree that fell then split some other wood that we cut up last year and stack it to cure and rotate the wood that’s been curing into the pile to burn this winter. Our family will do it together and I can’t wait. No cellphones, TVs, or video games.

I like chopping wood. It’s very edifying

We just picked the last of our broccoli. Also had carrots in the ground until recently. We harvested the cauliflower quite awhile ago. We are pretty far north so frosts are early and can be heavy. We have never had much luck with brussel sprouts. They are a favorite but have never done too well for us. Broccoli and cabbage and carrots and beans are our mainstays. We gave up on corn because of the raccoons. When our dog was alive no problem but once he was gone it wasn't worth it. We also grow a small patch of potatoes. Strawberries were a bust because something kept eating the fruit. Moles? Rabbits? Who knows. But we get lots of pears plums and peaches raspberries blueberries and blackberries. Our beautiful old (100 years)apple trees all began to go at the same time and the new ones havent produced yet. Very sad.but we are burning the apple wood in our wood stove. Its lovely.

Awesome. Sounds like you will be a great help to those in need when the worst hits

I used the Miracle grow food for acid loving plants to really get the blueberry bushes booming this year but do you have advice for what to fertilize the blackberry and raspberry bushes with? Same stuff?

I put Urea fertilizer on my raspberries and strawberries this year and they just bloomed big time with fruit. I use this on my grass and pasture for my jersey and it is awesome stuff. Got at the local cooperative that also sells farm fertilizers. My wife's flower/plants loved it as well and my new apple and pear trees. Plus it stores really well over the winter in a sealed bucket.
