Good news from Pfizer. Their vaccine came through the third stage with 90 percent effectiveness. It will take two doxes to be effective. The timeline, assuming it is approved, will be around February for the most vulnerable (e.g. elderly and healthcare workers) and then another six months before it is available for everyone else. Trump was right when he said there would be a vaccine by the end of the year.

People will line up to get the vaccine not even knowing or caring that it contains aborted baby components.

I could be mistaken, but I think that Pfizer's vaccine isn't one that used aborted baby parts. Moderna's vaccine has similar results to Pfizer's. I think that Moderna did use aborted babies but I could be mistaken about that too.

My quick search produced this: https://www.thebostonpilot.com/article.asp?Source=Popular&ID=188159

"The Charlotte Lozier Institute, research arm of the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, has listed the Moderna vaccine among the "ethically uncontroversial CoV-19 vaccine programs," along with development projects from Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Sanofi and Translate Bio, Pfizer and BioNTech, Novavax, and Merck/IAVI.

According to CLI, two vaccine candidates are the product of unethical programs -- those being developed by the University of Oxford and Astrazeneca, and by Johnson and Johnson and Janssen Res. and Devel., Inc.

On the straightforward question of whether the Moderna vaccine is being produced from cell lines from elective abortions, Dr. John Brehany, director of institutional relations at the National Catholic Bioethics Center, said "it appears that the answer is no."
I didn't read all the article - just did a search on the page for Pfizer, and read the part quoted above. It looks like neither the Moderna nor the Pfizer vaccine contain aborted baby parts.

Excuse my suspicion. The record for producing a vaccine before this was 4 years.

Now they are telling us that trials they carried out in July (only a few months after the outbreak of covid) are 90% effective.

So a vaccine in 4 months!

It will be interesting to see if they make it mandatory.

I for one will not be taking it.

I am not taking this or any other covid vaccine either, I am going to rely on my God given immune system, healthy diet, exercise, vitamin c and maybe d. Then if the virus takes me then I pray I don't spend too much time in purgatory on my way home.

I think this super vaccine cure is a false dawn. The only way it could be true is if the world had shown some degree of conversion.

It has most certainly has not.

I won't be taking the vaccine until it has been in general use for about a year. I might have a different attitude if I had a serious medical condition making it very unlikely that I would survive the virus. A vaccine is good news if it helps us get back to at least close to normal. Pfizer's trial seems to have been well managed. Someone told me today that Ireland hasn't put in a request to buy a vaccine. If that's tr ue, I'm a little concerned because it might mean that the vaccine from Oxford will be the one available here and parts of aborted babies are used in that vaccine. I think that Pfizer has one or two factories here. If the vaccine is made here, maybe that will be the one used here. A lot of ifs, buts and maybes but these are uncertain times.

"On the straightforward question of whether the Moderna vaccine is being produced from cell lines from elective abortions, Dr. John Brehany, director of institutional relations at the National Catholic Bioethics Center, said “it appears that the answer is no.”

Vaccines use a weakened version of a disease, grown in laboratory cell lines, in order to inoculate someone against the disease. With some common vaccines, such as those used to fight chicken pox and measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR), the cell lines of babies who were aborted decades ago are used to grow the weakened diseases.

This is also reportedly the case with some coronavirus vaccines in development, such as one worked on by the University of Oxford and Astrazeneca, which relies on the HEK-239 cell lines from a baby aborted in the Netherlands in the 1970s. That program is also being funded by the Trump administration’s “Operation Warp Speed.”

But the Moderna vaccine works in different way than most vaccines. Its method of innoculation “is not based on using cells at all in production,” Brehany said.

The Moderna vaccine relies upon a spike protein from SARS-CoV-2 to induce the production of antibodies in the recipient, instead of a weakened version of the disease.

The gene sequences for the spike protein were determined to be a good candidate for producing a vaccine.

Non-Moderna scientists had initially made DNA vectors with the gene sequence of the spike protein, and injected them in HEK-293 cells to produce the spike protein. That work was studied and evaluated by experts at NIAID and the University of Texas, who determined that the spike protein was a good candidate for testing. Moderna was not involved in the DNA construction nor was it involved in the evaluation of the construction.

Thus, Brehany said, while the company has some association with the use of cell lines from elective abortions, it is not responsible for that use, and its vaccine was not produced using those HEK-293 cells.

A 2005 document from the Pontifical Academy for Life considered the moral issues surrounding vaccines prepared in cell lines descended from aborted fetuses. The Vatican group concluded that it can be both morally permissible and morally responsible for Catholics to use these vaccines.

“In general, doctors or parents who resort to the use of these vaccines for their children, in spite of knowing their origin (voluntary abortion), carry out a form of very remote mediate material cooperation,” the pontifical academy said.

“The duty to avoid passive material cooperation is not obligatory if there is grave inconvenience. Moreover, we find, in such a case, a proportional reason, in order to accept the use of these vaccines in the presence of the danger of favouring the spread of the pathological agent, due to the lack of vaccination of children,” it added.

The pontifical academy also noted that Catholics have an obligation to use ethically-sourced vaccines when available, and have an obligation to speak up and request the development of new cell lines that are not derived from aborted fetuses.

The 2008 Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith document Dignitatis personae strongly criticized aborted fetal tissue research. The CDF said that researchers should “refuse” the material even when they have “no close connection” to “the actions of those who performed the artificial fertilization or the abortion.” "

Moderna’s messenger RNA vaccine, on the other hand, is completely new and revolutionary to say the least. It uses a sequence of genetic RNA material produced in a lab that, when injected into your body, must invade your cells and hijack your cells’ protein-making machinery called ribosomes to produce the viral components that subsequently train your immune system to fight the virus. In this case, Moderna’s mRNA-1273 is programmed to make your cells produce the coronavirus’ infamous spike protein that gives the virus its crown-like appearance (“corona” is crown in Latin) for which it is named.

In many ways, the vaccine almost behaves like an RNA virus itself except that it hijacks your cells to produce the parts of the virus, like the spike protein, rather than the whole virus. Some messenger RNA vaccines are even self-amplifying. That means they encode not only the protein antigen of interest to elicit an immune response but also produce their own RNA dependent RNA polymerase, so that they can force the cell to replicate more copies of it. At that point, it will be hard to convince conspiracy theorists and anti-vaxxers that a self-amplifying messenger RNA vaccine is not an artificially created self-replicating virus. In fact, public acceptance of this new paradigm is not something to be easily dismissed nor taken for granted. There are unique and unknown risks to messenger RNA vaccines, including the possibility that they generate strong type I interferon responses that could lead to inflammation and autoimmune conditions.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Moderna and Pfizer use this new messenger RNA technology.

They may not have used aborted fetal cells, but the new tech they use may be concerning for other reasons.

I won't be taking the vaccine either. It's hard to put my finger on it. A feeling of deep unease. It's a bit like meeting a stranger on a Dark Night and him asking you something out of the blue. A feeling of deep unease and concern. It's the same too with wearing masks.

A feeling of being a sheep and being herded.

One thing I notice for instance from the media over here over and over and over again a thousand times is the phrase, 'Despite the fact he has no evidence', regarding the President contesting the results of US Election. Again these feeling of being a sheep and being herded in one direction. Of being ushered to think and to feel and to act in a certain way.

Catholics and other believers are constantly accused of being brain dead. I always find it the other way around. Catholics and people of Faith are counter cultural they have to work to think to keep their heads above water.

I see Catholics in France are protesting the closure of Churches bless them.:)

A whistleblower NHS healthcare assistant who publicly resigned after claiming she had 'no work for three weeks' at the height of the pandemic has said the claim the NHS is overrun is 'all lies.'

A viral Facebook video shows Shelley Tasker, 43 - a healthcare assistant at Treliske hospital, which is part of the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust - telling members of the public what is 'really going on' behind closed doors in NHS hospitals.

In the clip filmed outside Truro Cathedral with a crowd gathering, Shelley, who is a mother and part-time photographer from Camborne, Cornwall, takes to a microphone and says: 'As much as I've always loved our NHS, it's no longer our NHS. It's run by the corrupt government and the people running this company.

'We no longer have health care, we can't see dentists. I can tell you now when I was working at the height of the pandemic I had no work for three weeks because there were no patients. We have a particular Covid ward. None of the wards were overflowing with Covid patients and they're not now.'

She went on to claim that the flu and Covid cases are now recorded as 'the same thing' on death certificates.

In response to cheers from the crowd, she continues: 'I can tell you on Friday in Treliske there were three people in with Covid. No extra deaths, three - and that covers Treliske, West Cornwall and Hayle hospital.

'The total deaths from these three hospitals in seven months, is 76 people - that's about ten people a month over the last seven months, and we have locked down.

NHS figures show that 67 people died from Covid-19 at Treliske hospital between March and September, and official data seems to back up her point - there were just four people with the virus receiving care at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust on October 29.

Speaking exclusively to FEMAIL about the figures the government are presenting to the public, Shelley claimed: 'It's all lies. We've closed all of Cornwall down for three people in hospital.

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

I believe the way the vaccine is being administered, with the elderly in care homes and the carers; it will make a perfect human guinea pig trial. Because if the elderly survive, and the younger healthier carers survive, it will be evidence of a successful vaccine. If on the other hand it fails, the elderly won't be missed from an economic point of view, and the healthier carers affected will be a red flag not to proceed with the rest of the community.

I see there will be a six month gap after the first roll out of the vaccine. This must be considered a reasonable time to assess the experiment on humans. And when you think about it the majority of care workers are low key workers, easily replaced if they pop their clogs. Keep Watch and Pray.

It seems incredible, for how could they get away with such a thing? There are so many conspiracy theories. I would need a lot more evidence before I believed.
