Thanks Lynnfiat good to meditate upon!

As a father, I always wanting to give a gift that has meaning and touches my daughters lives and hearts. A gift that is loved and becomes a keepsake that was treasured and more than just a passing fad. A gift that is cherished and loved for their life time of memories. Our youngest daughter Brigitte, when she was a young child was asked if she wanted her blanket. She said, " that's not a blanket it's a blankey." When asked what the difference was between a blanket and a blankey she said, "a blanket keeps you warm but a blankey is fulllllllllll of love." Today there isn't much left of that blankey except bits of love worn cloth that are so thin one can see through the fabric.
At times this happens and they recognize the love that has been given ,but other times they don't realize the amount of love that was put into the preparation and processing of the gift in ones mind and heart for them. Little thanks and less understanding.
When it is given "to one who is disposed, to one who will not waste it, to one who will esteem it so much and love it more than his own life" this is truly a blessing returned to the one who created and desired it for the one whom he loves. To press your will to the point that the only desire you have left within is the desire to give your all and all to the person whom you know has given all. What honor and glory we could be giving!
Sadly I'm no different than my own children. I love and I have fallen away from love throughout my life. I sin and ask for forgiveness of my sin. I have had to mature in my faith and my understanding and ask over and over again for strength to overcome my own selfish desires. I have had to release many of my old ways and taken on new life in Him who is life.
I so desire to be united with His will, to feel His peace, to feel His loving embrace when I give what little I have to offer to Him. I continue to reflect that it shouldn't be this hard to release oneself to Him who is Fulllll of LOVE. I need to love as a child to a point where I have worn so close to God that only a thin layer remains from seeing the truth and beauty of the fabric of God.

Matt 18:3-4 "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven."Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.…

Thanks! Will start listening to these again. Remembered that you posted this quite a while back and I forgot about the messages by Fr.Robert Young.

My understanding is that if you do everything by, with, in and for the Blessed Mother, you ARE living in the Divine Will. The Blessed Mother never left the Divine Will, and was the first human, after Adam and Eve, to live in it, and she lived it perfectly. She is the Queen of the Divine Will. Jesus told Luisa that the feast of the Assumption is the feast of the Divine Will.

It's your intention that expands this. For instance, when I see a bird, I thank the Father for every bird, joining my thanksgiving with that of the Blessed Mother, on behalf of every person, from the first to the last. This makes reparation for all the people who never thanked God for anything. It makes your prayers BIG: returning the glory owed to the Father by all souls, and helping to bring about the kingdom of the Divine Will, on earth as it is in heaven.

Here is the book, "The Virgin Mary in the Kingdom of the Divine Will", given to Luisa by the Blessed Mother for the month of May.

You are right KathyK in what you said about Our Lady.
St. Louis de Montfort said this: "Hence it is true to say that Jesus is the fruit and product of Mary wherever He is present, be it in Heaven, on earth, in our tabernacles or in our hearts. She alone is the tree of life and Jesus alone is the fruit of that tree. Therefore, anyone who wishes to possess this wonderful fruit in his heart must first possess the tree that produces it; whoever wishes to possess Jesus must possess Mary." ("God Alone" chapter 17, Necessity of genuine devotion to Mary)
He also said, "Without Mary, they cannot produce Jesus in their souls."

Jesus: "She is the Queen of my Church. She helps it, protects it, and defends it. She will sit in the midst of the sons of My Will and will be always the moving force, the life, the guide, and the perfect model, the Teacher of the Kingdom of the Divine Fiat which interests Her so much. She hopes for, has a burning desire, and is delirious from her Maternal love because She wants Her children of the earth in the Kingdom in which She lived." "She sees who in any way is disposed and wants to live of the Divine Will. So, in difficulties, remember that She is around you, sustains you, strengthens you, and takes your will in Her maternal hands to make it receive the Life of the Supreme Fiat."

"...the living in my Divine Fiat is to operate in It, it is the transfusion of the Creator into the creature, and there is an infinite distance between the divine operating and the operating of the creature alone. She lends herself to her God as matter, to let Him operate great things, just as the matter of light lent itself to the Divine Fiat in Creation, to let It form the sun, the heavens, the stars, the sea – all matters in which the Supreme Fiat resounded, and It manufactured the whole Creation. A prodigy of It is the sun, the heavens, the sea, the earth, which were vivified and animated by the Fiat – perennial and enchanting display of what my Will knows how to do, and can do. It happens with the soul as with the accidents of the host which, though being matter, lends itself to let itself be animated by my sacramental life, as long as those same words spoken by Me in instituting the Most Holy Sacrament are pronounced by the priest. Those were words animated by my Fiat, which contained the creative power, and this is why the matter of the host undergoes the transubstantiation of the divine life. One can pronounce as many words as one wants over the host, but if they are not those few words established by the Fiat, my life remains in Heaven and the host remains the wretched matter that it is. So it happens with the soul: she can do, say, suffer whatever she wants, but if my Divine Fiat does not run inside of them, those are always finite and wretched things. On the other hand, for one who lives in It, her words, her works, her pains, are like veils that hide the Creator, and the One who created heaven and earth makes use of these veils and makes of them works worthy of Himself, placing in them His sanctity, His creative power, His infinite love. Therefore, no one else, though he might do great things, can compare to that creature in whom my Divine Will lives, reigns and dominates." Vol. 23 10/2/27

"My Love is fire, but not like material fire which destroys things and reduces them to ash. My fire vivifies and perfects, while it burns and consumes all that is not holy - desires, affections, thoughts which are not good. This is the virtue of my fire: to burn evil and to give life to good. Therefore, if the soul does not feel any tendency to evil within herself, she can be certain that my fire is in her. But if she feels fire mixed with evil within herself, it is very doubtable whether that be my real fire."

This is what makes this gift mind-boggling - all it takes is handing over our own will (Jesus told Luisa is was a dirty rag), and Jesus purges everything from us that is in opposition to the Divine Will. Our own efforts at "achieving" holiness are so often tainted by our own will, making them worthless in the sight of God (if not worthless, then at best temporary and finite). I struggled in that miserable battle for 25 years! Eternity will not be long enough to thank God for this priceless gift...

Jesus to Luisa: "...first I want to see that the soul really wants to do my Will and never her own, that she is ready to make any sacrifice in order to do Mine, and that in everything she does, she always asks Me for the gift of my Will, even just as a loan. Then, when I see that she does nothing without the loan my Will, I give it as gift, because by asking for it over and over again, she has formed the void within her soul, in which to place this celestial gift; and by becoming used to living with the loan of this divine food, she has lost the taste for her own will, her palate has been ennobled and will no longer adapt itself to the vile foods of her own self. Therefore, in seeing herself in possession of that gift which she longed for, yearned for, and loved so much, she will live of the Life of that gift, she will love It, and will give It the esteem It deserves" Volume 18, December 25, 1925.

Knowledge prepares the way for the gift of living in the Divine Will. Father Robert Young's reflections on the above can be listened to at

"My daughter, to make me be born is the easiest thing - more so, since we do not know how to do difficult things. Our power facilitates everything. Provided that the creature lives in our Will, all is done. As soon as the soul wants to live in It, she has already formed the home for your Jesus; at the moment she wants to start doing her acts, she conceives me; as she does her act, she makes me be born. As she loves in my Will, so she clothes me with light, warming me from the great coldness of the creatures. Every time she gives me her will to take my own, I am amused - I have my toy to play with, and I sing my victory over the human will, feeling like the little Triumphant King.
See then, my daughter, how easy this is for your little Jesus, because when we find our Will in the creature, we can do anything. It provides us with all that is needed and all that we want, to form our Life and our most beautiful works. But without our Will, we remain hampered: now love is missing, now sanctity, now power, now purity, and all that it takes to make our Life rise again and to form it within the creatures. Therefore, all depends on the creatures, since, from our side, we place ourselves at their disposal."

  14. Hi PS, below is a guide on how I try to do it. My booklet is an old one and a couple of words are different in this translation, such as the "by" Our Lady, is "through" Our Lady.
    Hope this helps!

True Devotion To the Blessed Virgin Mary: Nos. 257–260
There are some very sanctifying interior practices for those souls who feel called by the Holy Spirit to a high degree of perfection. They may be expressed in four words, doing everything through Mary, with Mary, in Mary, and for Mary, in order to do it more perfectly through Jesus, with Jesus, in Jesus, and for Jesus.
    Through Mary
    258. We must do everything through Mary, that is, we must obey her always and be led in all things by her spirit, which is the Holy Spirit of God. "Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God," says St. Paul. Those who are led by the spirit of Mary are children of Mary, and, consequently children of God, as we have already shown. Among the many servants of Mary only those who are truly and faithfully devoted to her are led by her spirit. I have said that the spirit of Mary is the spirit of God because she was never led by her own spirit, but always by the spirit of God, who made himself master of her to such an extent that he became her very spirit. That is why St. Ambrose says, "May the soul of Mary be in each one of us to glorify the Lord. May the spirit of Mary be in each one of us to rejoice in God." Happy is the man who follows the example of the good Jesuit Brother Rodriguez, who died a holy death, because he will be completely possessed and governed by the spirit of Mary, a spirit which is gentle yet strong, zealous yet prudent, humble yet courageous, pure yet fruitful.

    With Mary
    260. We must do everything with Mary, that is to say, in all our actions we must look upon Mary, although a simple human being, as the perfect model of every virtue and perfection, fashioned by the Holy Spirit for us to imitate, as far as our limited capacity allows. In every action then we should consider how Mary performed it or how she would perform it if she were in our place. For this reason, we must examine and meditate on the great virtues she practised during her life, especially: 1) Her lively faith, by which she believed the angel's word without the least hesitation, and believed faithfully and constantly even to the foot of the Cross on Calvary. 2) Her deep humility, which made her prefer seclusion, maintain silence, submit to every eventuality and put herself in the last place.

    In Mary
    261. We must do everything in Mary. To understand this we must realise that the Blessed Virgin is the true earthly paradise of the new Adam and that the ancient paradise was only a symbol of her. There are in this earthly paradise untold riches, beauties, rarities and delights, which the new Adam, Jesus Christ, has left there. It is in this paradise that he "took his delights" for nine months, worked his wonders and displayed his riches with the magnificence of God himself. In this earthly paradise grows the real Tree of Life which bore our Lord, the fruit of Life, the tree of knowledge of good and evil, which bore the Light of the world. In this divine place there are trees planted by the hand of God and watered by his divine unction which have borne and continue to bear fruit that is pleasing to him. Only the Holy Spirit can teach us the truths that these material objects symbolise. 262. The Holy Spirit speaking through the Fathers of the Church, also calls our Lady the Eastern Gate, through which the High Priest, Jesus Christ, enters and goes out into the world. Through this gate he entered the world the first time and through this same gate he will come the second time.

    For Mary
    265. Finally, we must do everything for Mary. We take Mary for our proximate end, our mysterious intermediary and the easiest way of reaching him. Relying on her protection, we should undertake and carry out great things for our noble Queen. We must defend her privileges when they are questioned and uphold her good name when it is under attack. We must attract everyone, if possible, to her service and to this true and sound devotion. As a reward for these little services, we should expect nothing in return save the honour of belonging to such a lovable Queen and the joy of being united through her to Jesus, her Son, by a bond that is indissoluble in time and in eternity.

  16. Hi Bartimaeus, when I want to do something leisure related I say something like, "come Divine Will, play in me, relax in me, etc. I don't think your actual words are as important as your desire to allow the Divine Will to replace your own will. And Jesus told Luisa that when we desire it, he would do all the work to make it happen.

When I was in my early 20's I read a book that forever changed my faith life. It was written by Sister Josefa Menendez, called The Way of Divine Love. It was a love story told to her from our Lord himself. This conversation that our Lord Jesus and Sister Josefa had in the early 1900's was perhaps not a whole lot different then what took place with Luisa Picceretta. She suffered greatly, especially from the devil, yet through it all learned how to live in the Divine Will. It was a message of the Sacred Heart to the world.

Has anyone else read this treasure?

Another treasure: The Sacrament of the Present Moment, translated by Kitty Muggeridge. I believe we've been sent lots of gifts over the years, paving the way for living in the Divine Will.
