Praying... *** Every time I see a news story about the horrible tornado damage which was the worst in Mayfield, Kentucky and the news reporter says "Mayfield" I immediately think "Mary's Field" since my mom's name is Mary and many of our relatives and friends call her May. + Praying for you also Beth.+ I also didn't sleep well last night but I laid in bed and laid in bed until I finally fell back asleep and then I got up at least an hour later than I normally do. I truly hope that I did not post "fake news". Maybe there are other Catholic sites reporting this also but I haven't looked yet. I also haven't heard of an outcry either but maybe there are news sources reporting that also. + I do believe in forgiveness but I don't know a lot about Brian Williams other than what is stated in that article that I posted. I just felt that he may be seeing the light, hopefully and either case, it was brave of him to speak out about what is occurring in the US given that he was working for MSNBC.

...regarding Brian Williams, years ago....I'm talking decades, he did a midnight news show that I thought was pretty straight forward. But since that time, I found his reporting gradually became as sensationalistic and one sided as most everything else in the news. So, I stopped watching him, long ago. I still no longer watch any news or politics. It was maddening. Absolutely maddening.
