In a certain sense, there has always been a group of the elect,a faithful remnant in every age. However, in times of darkness and doctrinal confusion, that remnant tends to stand out even more. 1 Corinthians 11:19: “For there must be also heresies among you, that those who are approved may be made manifest among you.” Our Lord, the very author of our salvation, asked an intriguing question in the Gospel of Luke, one that gives us an idea of the state the world will be in at the time of His glorious coming: Luke 18:8: “I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” I believe it is possible that, at the time of Christ's Second Coming, the world will become an image of the Sanhedrin that condemned Jesus. The death of the Two Martyr Witnesses will provoke jubilation among most of the inhabitants of the earth. It is noteworthy that they will even exchange gifts with one another, which recalls the mockery of those who stood before the Cross. Just as His death did, the resurrection of the two prophets, as well as the great earthquake that will follow, will call to mind the central events we celebrate during the Easter Triduum. Finally, it is worth emphasizing that, in every age, our love for God and for the Church is put to the test, just as our love for our closest family members is tested when we see other people speaking ill of them. Our love is expressed through our actions and through the way we respond to the people around us.
One good sign..my teenage grandaughter, who is baptized just had her first Catechism class. She just called me and told me and we talked about what she learned. I am so thankful for the answered prayer!!!

I just spent some time reading up on him. I love what he's trying to do for France! The freemasons hate him. I'm going to pray a Hail Mary every day for graces and protections for him, and that Mary will make his intentions successful. I have high hopes for France; there is so much promise in the rise of traditional Catholicism there.

Here in Ireland and the UK fuel prices have rocketed the last month average 1.89 a litre for diesel for my car and the only way is up. This will crush many businesses and farms. I think it is equivalent to 9 dolllars a gallon of gas in the USA.

But I do so now because the reality is now in our face, though governments are not broadcasting. This is more a reality now. One reason why: though Ukraine is on the ropes, their drone attacks have successful reduced Russia oil production by 25% and we're still dealing with the Strait of Hormuz debacle. Summer is over and the temps will fall. Gasoline and oil prices will climb painfully. Obviously food prices will rise significantly. This will be a worldwide economic disaster. It is a time for praying for the Good Lord to grant us the Grace of Trusting in Him. I love what Our Blessed Lord said to me one time, 'Have I ever let you down these past years? Why would I start doing so now?'
Yes. Exactly. When spending time in front of the Lord at our adoration chapel I was asking why my prayers for the return to the faith of my children and husband weren't showing any traction at all--I heard Our Lord speak to my inner self " How is it you have no faith?" Then He recounted all the times He had helped me and answered my prayers. So why should I doubt Him now. All I could say is "You are right. Jesus I trust in You."
Since you posted this, its gone over 2 euro a litre, most places now. That equates to just over $10 a gallon. Winter is just starting. September has been one of the wettest I can remember: I've not seen rain like it. I think they are modifying the weather. No earthly power is coming to save us. I hope Himself comes soon.
