Please pray for Reese - my sister's fiancé's son. He collapsed at the end of his shift yesterday. He works a construction job so they thought it was heat related, but his body temp was normal. Turns out it was cardiac arrest. Things do not look good. He's only 23 years old.
Thank you prayer warriors! It took 18 minutes of CPR before the paramedics were able to shock him back to life. So there is the concern about brain damage. Doctors are going to wake him up and take out the vent tomorrow. In the meanwhile, he responded to the nurse's command to squeeze her hand. He shook his head yes and no to basic questions. So there is a lot of hope!
The first thing I asked my sister is if he had gotten the Covid shot. She said probably not because Reese spoke out against it in casual conversations. His boss said he drank two Red Bulls yesterday morning, same as he does every day. I'm not blaming energy drinks, but who knows?
