To be frank. Any Catholic who supported what Pope Leo is doing at the moment I would have the very gravest doubts of the Salvation of their Eternal souls.

Well, well, well on the path to the flames of hell.

    Well down the Darkest road.

I have warned and warned and warned about this
. But those who are bent on the Path to Destruction will go to their due place.

    Sigh.

May God have mercy on your poor souls.

Good video. I wonder how long it will be before all Latin masses are cancelled. There aren’t any around me or I would go. Our Bishop is pushing for the synodal way, there are a group of people in my parish who volunteered. I think there is a big conference coming up this year. I don’t pay much attention to it. But the whole movement is very unusual. I just keep focused on Jesus.

I've just read some of the Pope's new encyclical - almost all based on documents of Vatican II and recent Pope's teachings.

To be honest (maybe I am not that smart?) much of it goes over my head and it is such a boring read full of sound bites and platitudes with the odd reference to Scriptures but mostly quoting from encycylicals from post Vatican II Popes - so if you are going to critique and criticise this document then you are going to have to criticise Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI because it builds upon previous documents -

I stopped half way through and got angry at the constant mention of the preferential option for the 'poor' and marginalised!

    Who are the poor?

We are all getting poorer because of inflation - I am really feeling the pinch at the minute - money is tight and my savings disappearing faster than a rat up a drain pipe - I still work 4 days a week to keep myself afloat even though technically retired - inflation (caused by governments) is killing the value of money.

I know lots of people working their butts off making very little money like farmers in Ireland who have protested that they cannot make a living - one gets the impression the Vatican is totally out of touch with the real world and that encyclical in pie in the sky stuff not relevant to the majority of people scraping a living.

We are over-taxed. God only ever asked 10% from us max. Yet, when you take all the taxes I am paying it must add to 50% a form of theft in my opinion. Last month the British government spent something like 333 billion on welfare and took in only 331 billion in of income tax. Many people choose a benefit lifestyle because work does not pay.

    Who are the marginalised?
Catholics trying to live the faith in difficult times.

A protestant pastor was fined recently for preaching on a Sunday outside Coleraine hospital (an abortion mill), no mention of abortion, just Christ. The lack of response from the local Catholic bishop is disturbing. Catholics have been arrested for praying silently near these abortion mills.

    They are the marginalised!

    Rant over!

I think that there is a place for the respect for the office of the Papacy regardless, or else we are not Catholic any longer. With respect.

. I am just stating my feelings. It has nothing to do with you. The poor are mentioned often in the Bible. The Lord Himself said, the poor you will always have with you. I would never insult you. I think too highly of you, and the others on this forum.

There will be a great many of us praying during this rosary, for not only peace, but repentance and a return to God. And Mary can direct all prayer to her toward God's Will. I am confident of that!
