"Bomb the savages who did this back to the Stone Age. There are no grey areas. Kill them all. Every #Hamas savage and every Hamas supporter on earth. Bury them with the entrails of pigs." James Woods Gaza James Woods crying on CNN when his own house burnt down.
I am playing a tiny, tiny violin for him. Mea culpa, apologies for my sarcasm. May it lead to his repentence and conversion. This is my answer.
Israel has been dropping 2,000 pound bombs (provided by the United States) on women and children living in tents! So I guess this man got his wish. But he may have forgotten that actions (and words) have consequences. Genesis 13:8-9 So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no strife between you and me, nor between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are brothers. Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me; if to the left, then I will go to the right; or if to the right, then I will go to the left.”
Tbf I am a fan of James Woods as he is a good solid constitutional patriot and has been calling out all the woke madness for many years. I think his response to the initial Hamas event was visceral and shared by many at the time. I do not believe he condones the Israeli response as it is nor do I think he is a zionist (open to correction). I personally trust none of them, to the right or to the left. I have the quintessential Irish hatred of government and bureaucracy of any kind that unfortunately has been lost with the nanny welfare state for many decades.
I listened to James talking on a Fox interview where he broke down whilst reporting one of his neighbours dogs had died in the fires.I love dogs and am so sorry to here it died. But...to show compassion for a dead dog while... https://www.newarab.com/news/james-woods-urged-rethink-israel-support-after-la-fire-loss 'Bomb the savages who did this back to the Stone Age. There are no grey areas. Kill them all," he wrote in an X post in October 2023.' In a post a month later, Woods demanded "no ceasefire, no compromise, no forgiveness. #KillThemAll". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casualties_of_the_Israel–Hamas_war As of 10 December 2024, over 46,000 people – 44,786 Palestinian[7] and 1,706 Israeli[24] – have been reported killed in the Israel–Hamas war, as well as 141–156 journalists and media workers,[27] 120 academics,[28] and over 224 humanitarian aid workers, a number that includes 179 employees of UNRWA.[29] Scholars have estimated 80% of Palestinians killed are civilians,[4][3][5][30] while a study by OCHR, that verified fatalities from three independent sources, found that 70% of Palestinians killed were women and children.[31]
The fires in Los Angeles are so horrific I believe they could be a chastisement. God is bringing Hollywood and the state of California to it's knees, but how many will have the eyes to see and repent.
I agree with you. The rosary on EWTN this morning was offered for the fire victims. We must pray for God’s mercy.
I heard one of the fire captains say that he saw the winds throw street poles over. That is not normal. The huge winds and fires at the same time. What are the odds?
This is so out of the realm of normal---many are saying it is like the fire in Maui last year. Some are blaming homeless encampments. Others suggest terrorism. As usual the best and worst of humanity is seen. Heroic neighbors helping to rescue, and looters trying to steal what people had to evacuate. t. Total hubris from Newsome and Mayor Bass. Incompetence of an extreme order. Newsome blames LA officials. Makes my skin crawl. But Californians vote these woke pols into office time after time. Shaking my head. ( and praying)
It really is like Doomsday. Prayers for the poor, poor people in the City of the Angels and Gaza and the Ukraine.
We need not look to far? Remember the mockery of the Olympics...God Shall Not Be Mocked....Well the closing of that particular Olympics had tom cruise bring that scourge by personal delivery to the hills of Holywood..coincidence?
I keep thinking we are getting slammed with event after event since the first of the year. That’s only nine days. Lightning striking in Washington. Terrorism in New Orleans, in LV, Pres Carter dies, Trudeau resigns, horrific fires in Ca, winter snow and ice storm across the country, frigid cold moving in, Trump to be convicted tomorrow. China masks up with new virus. Looks to be a rocky year.
That’s a good summary. Today I saw a sign on a desk that said, Joy of the Lord is my strength. That is one of my favorite Scripture quotes. I use it almost every day since it is so stressful to live with all of the events. It’s one thing after another, often on a personal level as well.
I have never been in Los Angeles but I have read reports from people that live there or have visited of a weird kind of atmosphere in the city. A feeling that something was not right.
I live in NZ and about 6 weeks ago one of my children who is a dual citizen of NZ and USA announced that she and her family were going to leave NZ and go live in Los Angeles. I decided not to fight against it and I said "if that is what you want to do, do it quickly, don't delay". Thankfully two weeks or so later, she had decided against the idea. I think that because I gave her the freedom to choose, she was guided not to go. I am glad now because the particular Canyon she wanted to move to was one of the canyons evacuated in the past two days and some of it certainly burned. Also I am thinking about how one of the catalysts for the fire is named after Our Lady's mother, St Anne. The Santa Ana winds. Saint Anne came first and then Our Blessed Mother. Perhaps this is a harbinger of worse Chastisements to come.
God is so good. Our modern Western Societies are so complex and fragile. I worry about a huge knock like this causing a collapse. If a huge city like this broke down it would cause huge ripples of anarchy everywhere. I mean 20 million people displaced? What would that mean? Huge ripples of chaos.
Yes, God is good. We should always carefully discern our plans with Him first. Does He wish us to stay or to go ? I am glad I did not resist my daughter because if I had, she may have rebelled against that. I simply left it in the hands of Jesus and wisdom prevailed in the end. THANK you, Lord
