Sadly, the contradiction will be bypassed by redefining the family into an entity that can be constructed by human will. This will be the pass for the introduction of surrogacy and the acceptance of 'designer' babies.

The 'Father of Lies' is at the wheel, now.

Ever since 2012 there seems to have been a gradual takeover in the country by some very dark forces, we had the Children Referendum that year and it was also the year of the Savita Halapannavar Case which was used to bring in abortion. Interesting that end of that year was believed to be by New -Agers /Luciferians to be the beginning of the Age of Aquarius, a supposed "enlightened" time. You can be guaranteed it is all tied in somehow.

2012 was also the year the Church was basically cut out from any opinion on issues in Ireland. Or any other voices of dissent for that matter.

John Waters comments that as Irish, the current generation at least, we have to be the best at everything; the best (permissive) abortion laws, the best marriage "equality", the best lax immigration policy etc.,destroying the country in the process...

As the rest of the world relaxes its restrictions, we are now virtue-signalling our excessive caution by being far slower at opening up our businesses and social interaction, further ensuring we will have the 'best' social and mental deterioration and the 'best' national bankruptcy.

At least, there is a delicious irony in Varadker the baby-murderer (as Taoiseach, he bears primary responsibility) and mocker of marriage (with a lifestyle that can't even be defined as sex-sodomy being nothing but a particularly disgusting and unhealthy, but unlocked-down, form of masturbation) being left 'holding the baby' of government. There have been interminable discussions about forming a new government since Varadker was rejected by the electorate a few months ago, but who in their right mind would volunteer to take upon themselves the economic catastrophe that already has dawned? In my opinion, these negotiations are all for show.

Varadker has had relatively high approval rates in recent polls, but 'eaten bread is soon forgotten' and our fickle, self-centred and high expectation electorate will very quickly turn on this narcissist when he begins to deliver the bad news. Our nation of perpetual adolescents will quickly look for a scapegoat and the mob will look no further than lovely Leo.

Couldn't agree more. Here he is social distancing in a park with his 'buddies' last weekend.

He is the Obama of Irish politics. Son of an Indian immigrant father and an Irish mother he has helped wreck the Irish nation morally. From moral bankruptcy to financial ruin.

    Irony.

Not only are our betters not socially distancing, but appear to be picnicing, which is I'm told illegal for us mere plebs.

Evidently, heterosexuals are now the slave class. None to be seen in this photograph.

Maybe the forces of reaction will finally awaken. The left have had their way long enough. It's not implausible. People like Le Pen and Salvini are waiting in the wings.

Hoping to head back to University in September to finish degree, not looking forward too much to going back to this kind of nonsense, though:

Those idiots look like they might be in breach of GDPR legislation, with their cavalier approach to third-party information. It's many decades since I was in university, but even then the students' union was filled with left-wingers of the most transparently extreme disposition. They were probably no different to the present crowd. They're all immature, radical exhibitionists who get a kick from having the opportunity to 'shock'. The best approach is to absolutely ignore them.

Absolutely ignore them. DeGaulle is right.
Pray your rosary and stay under Mary’s mantle.
We had great civil unrest on campuses in the US in May of 1970. I was due to receive my undergraduate degree that month, and campus protesters were telling everyone to boycott classes. I could not do that, being so close to graduation. So I went to classes! Not much really was accomplished those last few weeks, thankfully, but my professors knew I was in class.

I remember those days! Chaos and stupidity. Lots of "radicals" with daddy's credit card in their back pockets. Today its daddy soros who funds them. Fortunately I was at a Catholic women's college so it missed us.

Yes I was. I have a good friend here at a prestigious little ivy school who went to class. She was only one of a handful. Also one of the few who wore cap and gown at her graduation." Plus c'EST le change plus c'EST la meme chose. "

When one thinks of the history of universities and the great learning, accompanied by such humility, over so many centuries and the vast reservoir of knowledge created by these past intellectual giants and compare it with the utterly unearned arrogance of these self-regarding idiots, one finds it hard not to despair.
