I did say at the beginning that if you really found it difficult to resist name calling, please don't read on. I am now impatient and intolerant! This is becoming tiresome.

Glen, can you, please, move your story to Garabandal thread? I mean the sources - because it is the source, too

 

My abject apologies - Misidentification, Garabandal made the comment directed to me. This is still becoming tiresome. And now I am accused of over-reacting. If you want to 'gang up' OK, others will draw their own conclusions. I expected this but not so soon. See you in a few days.

 

I am actually really interested in your views Steve. As we all should be. If we are lovers of truth, we should want all research etc so that we can make a fully informed decision aware of ALL the facts.

 

No one is ganging up Steve. You were right as to my story being put here,but your dislike of me is so evident ,it just came out wrong. There's way to say things, " Glenn,is this the appropriate forum for this story ? " I would have gotten the message. Your leaving is your choice,all are welcome here, I have never asked anyone to leave regardless of thier opinion of Garabandal or me .

A good few hours ago, on another thread we were told that we were in the first second of the final hour. I managed to get my chicken and roast potatoes done, and dessert so all is good.

No worries, Glenn. My pointed remark was not directed to any individual or individuals, but instead, to some attitudes and remarks made by some. This is a necessary distinction and I should have made that clear from the beginning. Sorry for any confusion.

If you look again at my post I was quoting Thomas' post, so I made no comment directed towards you Steve.

 

OK. Next one up, getting back to the point (and hopefully sticking to it from this point).

This may seem like a small thing and it never occurred to me or bothered me until I read someone else's objection about this point but it does seem to me to be another (of several matters) that makes Garabandal unique and not necessarily in a reassuring way.

Number 2. The visionaries describe the Virgin as being bare headed. As far as I can establish (but am open to correction), Our Lady has been veiled in all other apparitions. As a good Jewish girl, She would have been veiled during her life.

 

There is Our Lady of Knock who wore no veil but had a crown.
Our Lady of Good Help{Green Bay, Wis.} an approved apparition, wore no veil, but had long golden way hair and a crown of stars around her head.

According to Sister Pauline LaPlant, to whom Adele often told her story:
“ She [Adele] was going to the grist mill about four miles from here [Champion] with a sack of wheat on her head […]. As Adele came near the place, she saw a lady all in white standing between two trees, one a maple, the other a hemlock. Adele was frightened and stood still. The vision slowly disappeared, leaving a white cloud after it. Adele continued on her errand and returned home without seeing anything more. She told her parents what had happened, and they wondered what it could be — maybe a poor soul who needed prayers?
“On the following Sunday, she had to pass here again on her way to Mass at Bay Settlement, about eleven miles from her home [...]. After that, Adele had more courage. She started home with her two companions, and a man who was clearing land for the Holy Cross Fathers at Bay Settlement accompanied them.
"As they approached the hallowed spot, Adele could see the beautiful lady, clothed in dazzling white, with a yellow sash around her waist. Her dress fell to her feet in graceful folds. She had a crown of stars around her head, and her long, golden, wavy hair fell loosely around her shoulders. Such a heavenly light shone around her that Adele could hardly look back at her sweet face. Overcome by this heavenly light and the beauty of her amiable visitor, Adele fell on her knees.
" 'In God’s name, who are you and what do you want of me?’ asked Adele, as she had been directed.
“ ‘I am the Queen of Heaven, who prays for the conversion of sinners, and I wish you to do the same. You received Holy Communion this morning, and that is well. But you must do more. Make a general confession, and offer Communion for the conversion of sinners. If they do not convert and do penance, my Son will be obliged to punish them’

This is not entirely true, she wore a crown of Gold Stars . Here's is a quote from Conchita:" Once, Our Lady took the crown of small golden stars from Her head and permitted the children to hold it in their hands"
