People are going one way or going the other, its sheep and goats time. I have to say I see very,very, very few politicians I would trust. In order to spiritually survive at the minute, the way the world is, we must have a really strong, living faith nurtured by a deep prayer life. My impression from these leaders is that they are spiritually dead. At best their faith is pro forma. A person who is alive to Christ, well you can see it in them, they glow. These leaders do not glow, they are dark. Its no wonder Our Lady comes from heaven, for if the leaders wander ,where will they lead the people? They are not there to serve, but to be served. That is why the 2nd of the month is so important - the day for unbelievers - so we should unite ourselves on the 2nd of each month to our Lady of Medjugorje and pray for unbelievers. I have also noticed in our lady's messages that she says there are varying degrees of unbelief within 'believers'. In fact, she says that some 'believers' live pagan Christianity. But degrees of unbelief are within us all because we live in a culture that has become so detached from the ways of God and we are surrounded by unbelief. Medjuggorje is the only place where I have been to where this is not the case. Medjugorje is filled with the spirit of love and belief - it just oozes out of the pores of the place - I suppose you could say Medjugorje is the way the world is meant to be and is a template for how life will be after the chastisements. We will live much simpler lives, based around agriculture and village life centred on prayer, in the era of peace promised by our Lady of Fatima and ushered in by the triumph of her Immaculate Heart. But in order to get to that era of peace will require great changes and purifications, and the labour pains are going to be severe. But before the end of this century there will be an era of peace unlike any other.
Unfortunatly, if you look at our impatience and then look at God's timeline-I think we will have to develop more patience for him to come and make things right. While it seems things are happening fast, at the same time it seems to unfold a bit, be held in check, unfold, held in check, etc. I think thats the challenge of those who know the end of things. I've heard many timelines so far and am very confused. Anyone got any idea of how fast things will move from a particular point in our future? I have to leave for work in a few minutes so this will have to be fast and please excuse if not up to my usual standards, Garabandal, I felt the same way about Medjugorje – in fact, I used the exact same words: I felt that Medjugorje was what the whole world was supposed to be like. I think that our wicked and evil generation is like the generation of Israelites wandering in the desert, grumbling to God. That generation never entered the Promised Land. They wandered in the desert for 40 years to prepare the next generation to receive God’s promise. Perhaps it is the same for us and it will be our children who live in the time of peace. Perhaps many of us will live through the time of tribulation and when we reach the end be like Moses who stood and gazed into the promised land but never entered it himself. Don’t worry about timelines. I’m pretty sure that if God wants us to know dates about the future, He will let us know in no uncertain terms. :wink: I think God has given us here some little insight into these future things to inspire us to conversion to live better lives. All we really have to do is live lives of faith, hope and charity as we “wait in joyful hope for the coming of our Lord.”

The era of peace promised by our Lady comes after the warning and miracle and chastisment, which are more likely contained within the 10 secrets of Medjugorje. The Medjugorje seers are in their early 40s and the secrets are to occur within their lifetime. There is no immediate sign of the first secret being announced, and our Lady has been appearing for 30 years at Medjugorje preparing us in the time of grace. The Israelites were in the desert for 40 years and this may be the case with Medjugorje - perhaps we have a maximum of 10 more years of formal messages? I have always thought that the secrets will be played out over many years and probably decades - perhaps over the lifetimes of the seers - so if they live into their 70s then we are talking until 2040s - given that some of the secrets are severe and will involve catastophies and tribulations then the world will have to rebuild itself with God's help so we are into mid-21st century and the promised era of peace will come.
