Our Lady is streets ahead of everyone else because for years she has instructed Mirjana to pray for unbelievers on the 2nd of each month and taught her special prayers to say. Now, it seems that unbelievers are in complete control of our world - governments, media,etc; and unbelief has seeped into families and even into the Church. Medjugorje has kept the faith alive. What the Church needs is holy saints and the quickest route to holiness is to Jesus through Mary, Mediatrix. Mary is the fulcrum of the Age - she is the Lady of the Ages and the Church needs to return to its Marian roots. Without Mary there is no Jesus and therefore no faith. To obscure Mary is to obscure Christ and hence worldwide apostacy. Perhaps, the Pope will address the issue of apostacy in his visit to Fatima. Perhaps, he will encourage real devotion to our Lady and consecrate the world to her Immaculate Heart. Should he do so many, many graces will flow. I hope that he understands the 'signs of the times' and has the courage to boldly proclaim the truth about our Lady and doesn't worry about a false ecuminism. Our Lady is such a wonderful gift to the Church and it is only through her that we will get through this dark age into the age of Light, Peace and Holiness through the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I'm sure the Pope does understand the 'signs of the times' far better than we do and his own role might already be clear to him. I think you're right that we should pray garabandal that he doesn't worry about things like false ecumenism. I also think his actions are very measured and guided by the holy spirit and we should not be disappointed if he doesn't make all the statements we are looking for. He is working on God's time line and guidance. It would be wonderful if he consecrated the world to the Blessed Mother and I'm sure he will have an important message to give us, his children.
We need to pray for the Pope as he has a very busy schedule and he is in his 80's so it could take its toll on him.

Greece is getting another huge loan & yet it already carries a tremendous debt. I can't help but think the problem is too much borrowing. They are adding debt to debt. Even if they take austerity measures this alone cannot help as their borrowing is huge. Some day soon someone is going to realise that in fact the currency market is actually a 'fake' as it has no real intrinsic value any more. There is a coming Global Currency Collapse because money is printed that has no real intrinsic worth or value. Here is Gerald Celente of the Trends Journal talking about the Greek currency crisis as the start of a Global Crisis. It seems logical as the Euro goes into crisis that the European Union will demand political Union to solve the crisis - a United States of Europe. Perhaps they are printing all of this money to create a currency crisis in order to get a political union? Once they get political Union then there can be dictatorship. I was always the one to deny conspiracy theories but daily recitation of the Rosary is a great help in understanding the signs of the times, and now I see things differently. I have been telling everyone family & friends that if I could I would start the Irish Independence Party to promote Irish unity and an Ireland independent from Britain and from Europe with its own currency and cultural and religious identity. Please pray that it waits another month! If my Mom and I were stranded in Medjugorje, my dad would not be able to deal with it...he is having enough trouble with her leaving without that happening. He is not Catholic, so has no desire to go there (though I am hoping maybe after we come back that my mom may want to take him...a daughter can still hope even though he is now 82). Anyway, Lets hope it all goes well for you and for us...if not, then it is God's will whatever happens.

Interesting. You can kind of see it unfolding in the news. They are talking about the EU having control over every member states budget at the moment because of all the countries that are in severe debt. It makes perfect for them - if they're bailing indebted countries out then they should have control of finance in countries to minimise the risk to themselves. It's handing over another piece of control to the bigger, richer countries in Europe.
