I'm sharing this because I believe the Lord is speaking to all of His children. Many protestant prophets are speaking of a wonderful time just around the corner when God will bring in a huge harvest. The true protestant prophets are telling the people to get ready for great chastisements. I believe the harvest will come by bringing everyone to their knees through unimaginable evil and disaster, and the warning. In the writings of Luisa Piccarreta, she is told that chastisements consists of disasters and people giving themselves over to evil until they wear themselves out and become sick of it, and that Jesus will bring a war of love. I think the most important preparation is to accept that it is the mercy of God to allow the destruction of our evil societies so that He can start over. We are so used to praying against disasters and wars; we've never lived through a time like this, when God is the guiding or allowing force behind horrible events. In the old testament, God used the enemies of Israel to chastise them, then destroyed the enemies when their work was done. Also, his punishments fit the crime. Terry Bennett, another protestant prophet, says that there will be a plague that takes children's lives in reparation for the sin of abortion. I wonder how many women who have had 1, 2, 3 abortions or more will connect the dots to the loss of their children? Horrible to think of, but the innocent blood of 50,000 babies a year in the U.S. cries out to the Father for justice. I think we need to guard our hearts against being offended by God. We must continue to pray that what can be mitigated, will be mitigated, but accept that what happens is the will of God for our ultimate good.
I'm with you, Kathy, in taking Glynda Linkous seriously. Not only because of the striking convergence of her locutions/visions with those of many others, but also because of her transparency and the evident intensity of her prayer life. That doesn't mean that any of this material is infallible (something she says herself), but it certainly merits prayerful consideration. There is no sense of self-promotion in her messages, nor any trace of gloating over their frequently grave content. Additionally, she is not one of the many self-styled prophets who seem to have a production line of messages going in order to keep their ministry in the public eye. If she hears nothing for the Lord for weeks on end, she writes nothing... So when she does, I take notice.
Hi Kathy and Peter, I am new here and have been scouting around to see how things work. I did not want to post anything unless it was something I feel comfortable with. I have been following Glynda for years. I have always been comfortable with her messages and you-tube videos. I have her book, The Wilderness Companion: A road map through the desert times of your life. It is the story of a surviving when you don't have the basics. It is published under her name before she got married: Glynda Lomax. Comment from the back cover: "this book is about the violent seizure of the kingdom of God and the events that surround refusing to let go at any cost." (from Brian D. McClafferty) I came out of the New Age several years ago and am learning to be careful.
During Adoration several years ago, I asked Jesus about something I had read regarding the chastisements that were to come upon the world (I had just become Catholic a few years before). I asked Him if these things would come from man or from Him. He answered me saying, "Both!" They will come one upon the other. They will turn to the heavens as there will be no where else to turn!" Be not afraid. Jesus has a plan. God loves you.

Speaking of Glynda Linkous, here is an interesting recent message that also speaks of forgiveness (as do the latest messages from The Littlest of Servants that I just posted in a different thread): Do Not Delay- August 18th, 2015 I was inquiring of the Lord about America and other nations and the time of judgment, and asking the Lord what we could expect and what we should do, when I began sensing a very dark, very violent storm approaching the East Coast of America, and Washington, D.C. in particular. Glynda Linkous receives wonderful to the point messages. I replied yesterday to the Friday message of August 28th, entitled ~ So Many Lost. So Many Lost My children are far too concerned with the timing of My Son’s return. I desire you would be about My business, not concerning yourself with other matters. There are many lost souls who know nothing of the salvation I offer them, and I desire you would use every available means to tell them. (I sensed very strongly that those words, every available means, is a word or confirmation to someone who has been inquiring of Him) It is not My will that any should perish, and I have asked My people to accept this work for Me. Will you go? Will you spread My gospel to those who do not know Me? (I felt Go here did not mean everyone needs to go overseas to minister unless He has specifically lead you to do that, but that each of us are to start reaching out in our immediate areas with His love and His truth, and spreading the gospel. Don't take my word for it - I can be just as wrong as anybody else!! But yes, although she is obviously not immune to making mistakes, I am as convinced about the authenticity of Glynda Linkous as I am about anyone, and the fact that her locutions are relayed by Catholic sites in several languages which would prima facie seem to have little in common with her says something on the level of collective discernment, I think. While controversy rages about many alleged seers and locutionaries, Glynda L. is one of those 'elephant in the room' figures (I would also put our own Verne Dagenais, Peli, Sulema, Edson Glauber, Agustin del Divino Corazon, Javier Viesca, Francine Bériault and Carver Alan Ames in this category, to name just a few) who over the years have quietly received an enormous amount of material from the Lord which has sparked little active resistance to speak of ... but has simply been largely ignored for no good reasons that I can see. I seriously recommend watching Glynda's YouTube videos in which she reads out the words she has supposedly been receiving from the Lord - with increasing regularity over recent weeks, which in itself seems significant - and prayerfully considering how these fit in with/reinforce the more general 'prophetic consensus'. The videos are also worth watching in terms of their dimension of personal testimony: if all believers in the Body of Christ exhibited the same level of costly obedience in daily living that Glynda's life journey clearly demonstrates, the world would be a very different place...
I may have said this before, but I'm not so sure about 'Daughters of the Lamb'; what I'm seeing over there is theologically problematic, at least as formulated in these alleged messages. For example, to have God the Father call Mary 'my Mother' (August 9) is strange, as is the expression 'I chose to exist consubstantially with the Father and Holy Spirit' (???). I can't see a competent spiritual director allowing this material to pass without at least some correction. I would also be very cautious about the idea in the same message that the Holy Trinity operated in its totality for the first time in Luisa Piccarreta(!!!), as this is precisely the kind of stuff which has made those involved in Luisa's Beatification process and the official edition of her writings extremely nervous. As for the notion in the August 11 message that Albert Einstein 'discovered the reality of the possibility of God present in a piece of bread', this is difficult to square with what we know of his religious views, which were pantheistic/Spinozist rather than theistic. IMHO these messages bear the stamp of the imagination of a certain constituency out there (and I personally know some folks like this, Catholic but with syncretistic/gnostic tendencies) who are fascinated with the idea that there is a connection between mystical phenomena and quantum theory - although Einstein himself famously rejected the latter - but combine it with all sorts of speculation and eclectic readings from private revelation, e.g. vocabulary from Luisa P. Ironically, as I see it, it is Glynda Linkous who is the authentic source here rather than 'Daughters of the Lamb', even if the latter upholds the Catholic position on the Eucharist (which Glynda's locutions never deny, by the way). I would put DOTL in the John Leary category, or dare I say it LTTW: much zeal and devotion, but mixed with rather too much conspiracy theory and insufficiently discerned in terms of distinguishing genuine inspiration from the workings of religious imagination. But as Michael Brown says over at Spirit Daily: 'you read, you decide'.
Peter B, I found some compelling messages here at MOG by Javier Viesca that you had translated. I went to the source pages and put some of them into Google Translater, but they were not really usable -- I can get the gist, but not really work it out well enough to post at my Blessed Hope board. I know there are two for this year found in English, and scattered ones from previous years, but that's not enough. Would you mind if I posted those you translated here? As far as Regarding Luisa Piccarreta and your statement, "this is precisely the kind of stuff which has made those involved in Luisa's Beatification process and the official edition of her writings extremely nervous. - What made them "nervous" as you state, was that there were several translations from Italian into English and there were some mistakes made in the translations. Soon we will have the "critical edition" of the volumes which we pray will have the blessing of Rome. I would highly recommend that you read Fr. Joseph Iannuzzi's doctoral dissertation entitled, "The Gift of Living in the Divine Will in the Writings of Luisa Piccarreta - an inquiry into the early ecumenical councils, and into patristic, scholastic and contemporary theology", which had the approval of three theologians at the Pontifical University in Rome. I have indeed read Fr Iannuzzi's dissertation (including all the footnotes)) and have discussed it in my own published work (in an essay on private revelation which I can email you if you get in touch with me privately); I am also familiar with his statements concerning some misinterpretations of Luisa's writings as expressed in his Proper Catholic Perspectives article http://www.sojmj.com/Trinity/ProperLuisa.htm The kind of neo-Gnostic interpretation to which Fr Iannuzzi refers is precisely what I was targeting with respect to the alleged locutions on the 'Daughters of the Lamb' website, not least because it does Luisa P a disservice by giving ammunition to her detractors. Please understand that my objection is absolutely not to Luisa's writings themselves, which I strongly consider some of the most important mystical literature in the modern era.
I only know about Glynda because of Peter. I wish I had followed his trail to Francine in Canada earlier - I just finished reading her four volumes this weekend.
