It does seem like multiple sources are all saying the same thing and looks like the next few weeks will be telling.

I think the Entire Planet is in a bubble and satan-n-pals are about to stick a "Big Pin" in it :( As the once great organization, The Boy Scouts, used to say: "Be Prepared" ... and to be sure ... I just pulled out my 1959 Scout Manual ... The Scout Oath: "On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law: To help other people at all times: To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight." I'll add a big AMEN!! I got a feeling that my old Scout Manual will come in handy ....Soon!!

Are y'all referring to Our Lady of America devotion? I thought Raymond Buerk did the procession and enshrined our Lady at the National Basilica? I have an Our Lady of America Living Rosary Group.

They've done processions before, but it is not enshrined. From what I know about Cardinal Wuerl, and Monseigneur Rossi who is the rector of the Shrine, they won't budge unless they have to. Our university had a Latin Mass society that tried to get the Extraordinary rite performed there, unfortunately they refused. In 2011 they did a high mass that had the pews packed, but they made it clear that they would not do another anytime soon. They rejected attempts to do another one the year after.

To be fair, they haven't outright banned people from the devotion, but they haven't done anything to help it at all.

God has a way of 'budging' us when our stubborn wills are out of alignment with his. This time will come, but like the Consecration to Russia, it will be late. I was at the Basilica several years back when I was out east for business. It was about a week before the Cultural Center to John Paul was opened. I prayed at the beautiful Basilica for this day of Our Lady of America to come and I believe it will.

www.ourladyofamerica.org/ has a form that you can fill out and send (address included) to Pope Francis to ask him to enshrine the state of Our Lady of America in the National Shrine Church of The Immaculate Conception at Washington, D.C. .

  9. That's the site I believe that is affiliated with those who brought the lawsuit. It seems that they are attempting to have the faithful go around the Bishop of Toledo who is the one recognized in authority over the devotion. The oldest site with the history (and connection to the seer herself) up until the litigation began is ourladyofamerica.com.

The statue....which is also supposed to be officially created according to the messages given to the seer, Sr. Mildred, I think to be created by an American artist, hasn't been done as stipulated in that instruction to Sr. Mildred....can't be canonically enshrined before the Bishop of authority (Toledo) judges the devotion to be worthy of belief....as in all private revelations. It's gotten to be a hot potato since all of this purposely driven division. Our Lady told Sr. Mildred, the seer, that, in the end the Bishops would act. With the interference attempting to force things I think they, perhaps the rector of the Shrine as well, don't wish to be strong armed! Why the urging to attempt to get the Pope to go above the Bishop/s and change the usual protocol.

I didn't know that, I thought it was already approved.

  11. Yes.....you are not the only one. While things have been tied up in courts there still has been a lot of seeming intentional misinformation promoted to the public/faithful. Even the large statue used in the past to promote the cause (and is the one I believe to be the one pushed to be enshrined via a procession by those affiliated with the litigation) was I believe made quickly somewhere in S.A., Ecuador I believe as I have read, while the instructions given to the seer for its creation were to have it created by an American artist which would seem logical.

Talking to a friend from NJ right now. She called to say she spoke to Msgr Rossi 2 weeks ago and he told her the Pope has all the info and its up to him now on final approval of our Lady of America.
Church militant has a new video on this...I didn't watch it yet
    http://www.churchmilitant.com/video/episode/american-apparitions-of-our-lady

In this week's episode of Mic'd Up, Michael Voris explores two little-known approved apparitions of Our Lady here in the United States, and discusses the process of approval for apparitions. Guests include attorney Kevin McCarthy, Fr. Peter Stryker of the Fathers of Mercy, and Fr. Roman Manchester from the diocese of Providence, Rhode Island.

  13. Yeah, Kevin McCarthy is one of the plaintiffs who brought the long drawn out lawsuit against the woman, last remaining person/sister at the time, who lived in the small cloister with the seer, Sr. Mildred. Sr. Mildred left the cause in her hands by word and through her last will.

In her probated Last Will and Testament she left all her possessions, including all her writings and copyrights to her closest friend, and sister in Christ, Sister M. Joseph Therese. Sister Joseph Therese lived with Sister Millie from 1963-2000) 37 years. (See Last Will and Testament of Sister Neuzil)

And the first site noted above, again, is the site also affiliated with those who've brought the lawsuit. Looks like perhaps the Bishops would just as soon have the Pope decide the question after all the mess made of it here and wash their hands of it. Wonder though just who provided the information to the Pope!! Guess we'll see.

Im new to tis Apparition since last year actually. Didn't know this was in te courts until you guys posted about it.
According to the video link McCarthy won the case against the ex- sister. She appealed and its due for a verdict soon. This info is from his website on te courts verdict before appeal...

Update on the Devotion and the Litigation Perhaps you have viewed and listened to the videos on www.ourladyofamerica.org . The litigation concerning the copyright and trademark issues and ownership of various devotionals is winding down since the jury verdict rendered late this past Winter and the United States District Court entered its initial judgment decree on March 19, 2014. McCarthy, Langenskamp and the BVM Foundation, Inc. (together, the "Plaintiffs") have subsequently pursued certain post-trial motions, including a request for a declaratory judgment on the freedom of devotionals from intellectual property claims of Patricia Ann Fuller (dismissed from consecrated religious life by The Holy See in August 1982 for incorrigible disobedience).

Also, the Plaintiffs are seeking a permanent injunction against the Defendants' defamation. The Jury in the Federal District Court at Indianapolis found for the Plaintiffs on both copyright and trademark, as well as our defamation claims (primarily against the internet defamation by one Paul M. Hartman acting on behalf of Patricia Ann Fuller). We are hopeful, with the prayers of many, that the Judge will conclude the trial court litigation by entering orders favorable to the Plaintiffs and to the devotion by early July---a few weeks hence.

Seems if he wins this appeal before the Papal visit there is a 4 hour window before Blessed Serras canonization for the procession into the Basilica.

I still cant get over reading this thread about our Lady of America and my friend calling on the same. Lets pray it ALL comes together when papa Francis comes, ALL the US Bishops will be in attendance.

Wasn't Sister Mildred kicked out of her convent? I have read the story and she and another nun or two wanted to stay cloistered I believe and the rest of the community wanted to become secular nuns, isn't that the story? Can anyone help me out here? I believe that maybe Patricia Fuller might have been one of the nuns that left with her? I believe I read that the Mother Superior ripped Sister Mildred's ring right off her finger, and basically put her out of the convent. She was treated very badly by her order.

Prayer from Sister Mary Ephrem Neuzil:
Oh holy Virgin, Mother of Mercy, look down in compassion upon your poor, frightened children. We come to you with fullest confidence, oh refuge of the afflicted and distressed. Where shall we fly or to whom shall we go but to you, oh Mother of Mercy? Our cause is in your hands. Cover us then, we beseech you, with the saving mantle of your tender compassion. Hide us under your cloak of loving care and pity from the just punishments of an angry God. Shield us from the chastisements which we, by our many transgressions have justly drawn upon ourselves. Be to us, oh comforter of the lonely and the sorrowful, a Mother of Mercy, never leaving us either in life or in death. Under the mantle of your protecting mercy, oh loving Mother, lead us to the feet of your all merciful Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, to remain forever. Amen. (May 15, 1957)

    LynnFiat & Gang,
I think the above is a nice prayer but ... I'm an admitted Oldster now and a lifelong Type A/Hyper person that now tends to get distracted easily. Besides I've learned to appreciate the KISS Principle ... Keep It Simple, Stupid .... anyway ... I prefer making up my own prayers. As Jesus admonished us not to worry about yesterday or tomorrow how 'bout: "Jesus, Mary and Joseph help me and all humanity today" .... or ......
    GOD SAVE ALL HERE!!

PS: Not long ago I figured out the "code". Most of our prayers, like the above, were/are penned by clergy whose "job" is to pray.
Like 24/7 News Programs, they have to fill all that "Air Time" with something. Some who don't have that calling might feel that they are falling short ... Hog-Wash!! I remember, months ago, a lady here(?) lamenting that she didn't feel she had the time to "do" the latest Devotion that was being discussed as she had her hands full with children and ...... I felt like screaming at my PC Screen: Hey Lady!!! Get a Grip!!! Being the the best Wife-n-Mother you can be is the greatest Prayer a woman can "say"! Am I wrong!!??
