An Italian programme with English subs on Maria Simma the late Austrian mystic who saw the Holy Souls:

'The Holy Souls have spoken to me...'

    sigh the English subs failed....

    It was wonderful Andree.

She had some very interesting things to say, not just about the Holy Souls.

She said a few things are wrong in the Church.

That we should receive Holy Communion kneeling, not standing and on the tongue.

That altar rails should be restored.

Than many modern Churches are displeasing to God.

That to many Churches have removed statues of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

That many modern priests have strange ideas and notions.

I am writing this just before going to the hospital on the Night Shift.

Satan has grown so very, very powerful. We must keep Holy Water (at least) in our Homes//AND USE IT.

I am seeing some strange goings on at the moment. Satan has fallen to the Earth in a Great Rage...

FOR HE KNOWS HE HAS BUT A SHORT TIME LEFT.

    Revelation 12:12

    The War in Heaven
11"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. 12"For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time."

Maria tells a nice story in her talk.

One time a gentleman came to her and asked the Eternal Fate of two people a man and a woman who had died in his village. Maria told him that the woman was in heaven but that the man was very deep in Purgatory. The gentleman who asked the question was appalled. The man , he said had been a daily mass goer and a very devout Catholic. The woman had died while having an abortion. How could it be that the man wasdeep in Purgatory and the woman was in heaven?

Maria thought she had made a mistake and promised him to do a recheck.

But then a lady turned up from the same village and Maria told her what had happened. This newcomer new both souls and told Maria that she tought she had been right. The gentleman who had been described as a devout Catholic was a very harsh and judgemental man. He had always had a bad word to say about everybody and when the lady had died in the abortion mill had kicked up a fuss about ther getting a Catholic funeral.

The woman on the other hand although she had made mistakes and gotten pregnant was more sinned against than sinning.

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

Padraig, do you mean you have had a dream or something. Or is it what we are seeing in the news.

I don't trust the news these days. It just seems to be hit or miss whether we are hearing about some MP scandal. Or some sport star or film star scandal. With so much suffering especially in the middle East and Africa, you would think the people affected would be mentioned rather than the rich and famous.

God preserve us all. Immaculate Heart of Mary, Triumph and Reign. Amen

    Padraig,

We have blessed St. Benedict medals on each and every window of our house and four of them buried in the four corners of our property. I ask St. Benedict and St. Michael to protect us and our baby girls in our house every night before I go to bed. We need all the heavenly help we can get in these dark days... and we'll need even more as the Storm fully descends, which I believe will begin this fall.

Lord, have mercy on us... Blessed Mother, hide us in your mantle!

God bless all the members of this forum and keep us close to You!

You are certainly well protected!! :) Moy own home looks like a holy shop I have so much Holy Stuff. My two favorite practices at the moment is a glass bowl of Holy Water in my bedroon; I have developed the habit of prinkling the water on the ground for the Holy SOuls.

I have also set my smart phone to twelve and six for the Magnificat and to three for DIvine Mercy.

I find as the years go on , myself more and more sturck by the pwer of sacramentals. A Church that does not have these is so very, very different from one that has them, they have two entirely different feels to them.

I think nowadys I can very well see how some mystics could sense the holy in objects just by looking at them.

I feel so sorry, so very, very sorry for people who have no such protection in their homes. Evil is everywhere; people will spend a fortune on physical security yet not spend even a couple of cents on spiritual protection; it is crazy.

It is not simpy to protect from disembodied evil spirits, it is to protect from evil people themselves. If we say that someone is evil we are saying that that person has an evil spirit inside them. Sacramentals have huge power to protect.

I wish someone would conduct a scientific survey of all the people that are harmed and killed by assault who had no sacramental protection and compare this to how many who have sacramental protection ever get assaulted or killed.

In either case even if they did not protect I would still love them , they bring such joy and peace with their precense.

I was at a Requiem Mass last week by accident of an old lady called Priscilla. They talked about her a little at the mass and I prayed for her soul , but thoughts of her still lingered. Ijust had thestrong feeling she wanted prayers badly.

Anyway I got back to the caravan that evening , it is so very quiet out there in the woods when suddenly one of the windows flew open with a crash. There was no wind at all really to force it open ..and I thought at once of poor old Priscilla and began to pray for her.

I often think when things like this happen it is a tap on the shoulder to pray. Even it it wasn't , it is good to pray anyway.:)

    No Julia,

Perhaps it is my imagination but I see Satan going stronger in tow things in particular. Though perhaps this is my imagination. Firstly in the people, the wordinary people I meet in my day to day life. I think people who are close to God, or who are doing their best to follow God are one thing. But nowadays people wh odo not follow God are not like they were.

People who do not follow God are not able , spiritually to survive as they once did. As soon as they give in to evil they get swept away , to speak towards real evil. In other words in our own days you either get to choose good or you get to choose evil , it is not as it once was that people could kind of wander about in the middle ground.

To put it another way, the world is getting sperated into the sheep or the goats. You either get to choose to be a sheep or you get to choose to be a goat..adn there are farm far more people choosing to be goats than are choosing to be sheep.

This means that the Light i the world is fading. I can feel it all around me as though evening were coming. Grace is draining away from the world with every passing day and more an more the demonic shows its face.

Well that's what I think. Evil is rushing in like a huge black tide. Sometimes I even feel it swirling about at mass.

I wonder if the reason why we do not see the huge influx of evil into our world because we are al lso busy? We don't get a chance to step back and look at it?

I would say it is getting worse every day now; that there has been some kind of collapse point we have passed.

Padraig, my wife and I have been talking about just this. We agree that we are being separated into the sheep or the goats. It's why you are seeing the veil pulled back from things like the Ashley Madison site, the veil pulled back from Planned Parenthood. It's clear as day now to all what abortion is, there's no way to hide behind the lie that the baby is just a clump of cells. People now must willfully make a choice with all the facts in front of them. I think you are on it that we have passed some kind of collapse point, for some reason especially this week I feel things are very different, there's a sense of something imminent, something on the horizon that is dark coming

Yes, it reminds me of a documentary series I am watching at the moment abut the Second World War. At the moment I am watching events just beofre war broke out and at the very beginning. It seems strange now looking back for people seemed very, very inncent about what was happening and what was about to happen. Very, very few people were attuned to the fact they were about to get whammed with events like Pearl Harbour.

I suppose we are all caught up in our own little world. But it's true events like abortion and the increasing use of baby body parts should tip our hands. The devil is grinning at us, right in our face.

A few years back when I came back to my home city from Medugorje I just got bowled over with the bad spirit in Belfast, everyone else who was a pilgrim reported this, feeling oppressed and overwhelmed at coming back home. The bad spirit here.

Well , I have to say it is much , much worse now.

One of the things I notice about myself is, I am well kind of careful of who I am dealing with, if you know what I mean. I keep a watchful eye on folks.

This is not like me; not like me at all. But I have to say I am not so innocent at the moment. No I don't give the glad hand to everyone now.

I am certainly watchful. Not everyone out there is my friend.

I am even speaking about people who claim to be Catholics. I don't take their word for it.

    Not anymore.

Archbishop Plunkett was found guilty of high treason on June 1681 "for promoting the Roman faith", and was condemned to death.[14] In passing judgement, the Chief Justice said: "You have done as much as you could to dishonour God in this case; for the bottom of your treason was your setting up your false religion, than which there is not any thing more displeasing to God, or more pernicious to mankind in the world".[15] The jury returned within fifteen minutes with a guilty verdict and Archbishop Plunkett replied: "Deo Gratias" (Latin for "Thanks be to God").

Numerous pleas for mercy were made but Charles II, although himself a reputed crypto-Catholic,[16] thought it too politically dangerous to spare Plunkett.[17] The French ambassador to England, Paul Barillon, conveyed a plea for mercy from his king, Louis XIV. Charles said frankly that he knew Plunkett to be innocent, but that the time was not right to take so bold a step.[18] Lord Essex, apparently realising too late that his intrigues had led to the condemnation of an innocent man, made a similar plea. The King turned on him in fury, saying: "his blood be on your head - you could have saved him but would not, I would save him and dare not".[19]

Plunkett was hanged, drawn and quartered at Tyburn on 1 July 1681, aged 55, the last Roman Catholic martyr to die in England.[20] His body was initially buried in two tin boxes, next to five Jesuits who had died previously, in the courtyard of St Giles in the Fields church. The remains were exhumed in 1683 and moved to the Benedictine monastery at Lamspringe, near Hildesheim in Germany. The head was brought to Rome, and from there to Armagh, and eventually to Drogheda where since 29 June 1921 it has rested in Saint Peter's Church. Most of the body was brought to Downside Abbey, England, where the major part is located today, with some parts remaining at Lamspringe. Some relics were brought to Ireland in May 1975, while others are in England, France, Germany, the United States, and Australia.

I've highlighted the first part because I think the Catholic religion is now abhorrent to the world, as it was in England in St Oliver Plunkett's time.

I've highlighted the second part because of Padraig saying he mistrusts lots of people now. I think there are 'good' people out there, who we think of as ordinary peace-loving people, who could stand by and watch us being condemned.

St Oliver Plunkett, pray for us.

I think its true a lot of people have it in for us now. One of the reasons I notice so much aggression on face book.

But its true I also notice some people too returning to the Faith. Sickened byt what's happening.

Having walked the streets of Dublin yesterday - my impression is that mammon is God and darkness pervades everywhere.

There is such a spiritual desert in our world - athieism or practical atheism has come to rule.
