There is a really bad 'game' popular now with adolescents and it summons a demon/demons it starts out calling Charlie. Two different kids told me other kids were playing it at school. Warn your kids to stay away from it. It is also on the web. I didn't want to link to it on the forum. Be aware

A lot of unusual lightning strikes of late. What I think Marie-Julie is talking about, with the lightening entering homes to kill people, is this. That there is a fine balance in the world between God's Justice and God's mercy. This balance is secured by a group of victim souls..and others in the world who offer themselves up to satisfy God's Justice as second Christ's. At the moment I believe this balance is wildly out of sinc and Justice, so to speak is about to pounce. Imagine for a minute two young men who are both mountaineers, one of them a devout believer and the other an atheist , a complete hedonist. Now imagine these two men decide to make a dangerous climb up the Alps. The young man of Faith has his guardian angel , 'Switched on', so to speak so it can protect. The atheist young man who does not pray has his angels, 'Switched off'. Now imagine bad weather sets in on the Alps which young man do you imagine will survive? Probably off course the young man of prayer..all else being equal. Now transfer this to the every day, car accidents, train wrecks, cancer and so on..even lightening strikes. But we have reached the point, I believe were our Guardian Angels of some of us will be given leave to strike us dead. You're not going to hear this from any pulpit anytime soon, but it's the truth.

I'd like some input on how to witness in the face of the gay marriage debacle. I mean, I believe it is sinful and will stand by that Truth and believe that and teach my children that. However, I have two situations that I'd like to hear your prayerful input on: 1)My banker for my business is Wells Fargo. Reverend Graham last week pulled their business from Wells Fargo because they are using a lesbian couple in ads to promote their business. Last week my new banker from Wells walked into my office for the first time to begin the process to renew my revolving line of credit for my business. He is obviously gay and wears a wedding ring, even though it's not legal (yet) in my state. I asked about his family and he only mentioned his mom, he didn't mention his wife/husband, but it was clear. How do I witness our Faith, do I pull my business and shun him and Wells, or do I simply stand in Truth and believe he's wrong and they are wrong but pray for them and do business with them anyway? 2)We have an opportunity to receive a gift from someone. It's valuable, but it's free. It became clear that the gift is being donated by a lesbian couple and if we accept this free gift, it will mean that we'll have ongoing contact with them and they'll be coming from time to time to our newly consecrated land/retreat we are preparing. Our children will see this couple, other families will see this couple from time to time. How do I witness our Faith, do I reject the gift and shun them, or do I simply stand in Truth and believe that they're wrong but pray for them and accept the gift and ongoing relationship it will begin between us?
I don't know but it is good to keep upper mind that God loves all humans no matter what their "orientation" or condition. We are not to shun other people but try, gently, to show them The Path. We should not celebrate, take part in or submit to that which we know is against our long held beliefs. I see nothing wrong with being friendly and a good neighbor to anybody! I just, simply, don't want their, or anybodies, sexual habits in my face ... that goes for their Politics, unpleasant habits or whatever! GOD GUIDE ALL HERE!!
I appreciate your reply, but that doesn't answer my question. Do I witness by standing in Truth, but accepting them and trying to witness to them by showing them that yes I am a practicing Catholic and do not believe what they are doing is right but that I'll do business with them anyway? Or do I witness by saying no, I can't do business with you because of what you are doing?
