We had some hope against abortion in Ireland but against Gay marriage, so many peoples minds are brain washed even throughout the Church. God help anyone who says anything against Gay marriage either and people look at you like you have three heads. Its going to be very difficult.... Need help here dear God, stan has too much power these days. When you locking him up for us?
If sexual perverts are allowed to pretend to be married by referendum vote, we should expect a mini chastisement. Actions have consequences. I really admire the way Our Lady keeps coming down from heaven and trying and trying to get us to convert, she never ,ever gives up. She inspires me. What a woman. What a Mother. What a Queen. Because she hopes, I can continue to hope. 'Pray for the sinner, Pray for me'.
I agree Sanctus. I'd put it this way: "it's difficult to watch society being broken down like this". Is all an agenda being pushed.
Hi Padraig, I made the point to Charlie on his forum sometime ago that though judgement comes down on us all and that there are no innocent bystanders, I do however think that Ireland, (though there are a few other nations) has been specially protected these last few centuries from the poisonous errors and deadly deceits of our age. Yes, we have suffered as a people, at times terribly, to keep the Holy Catholic faith inviolate as did our forebears. It is the blood of the Irish saints and martyrs throughout the ages, of holy men and women of simple faith who perhaps have won for us ingrates the grace thus far to keep our land relatively free from the abomination of the slaying of innocents. If this is to be the end of the age, I for one am extremely proud and honoured to be an Irishman in these days of days.
I think that's a point of perspective. I've been in the Philippines a lot over the last decade. Now, there is a country that can be proud of themselves: they have nothing, but are a very holy people, Not saints, but miles better than us. I look around Ireland today, and pride isn't something I feel Malachi. Unfortunately. I take your point about how we had Mass in the forests in secret during penal times etc. But that's then. This is now.
I would like to LIKE this; but it seems inappropriate if you know what I mean. Thank you for sharing this with us. Our job is to weep bitter tears to hear of Priests who are that devoted to their own libido that they forget to look out at their congregation and say to themselves. "I must carry this cross, this burden of shameful desire; but for Jesus sake must not engage in disordered activity in the hope and confidence that our Loving Father will have Mercy on me (the Priest) and on the whole Godforsaken world." I am beginning to think this sort of revelation is a warning that we are in for a bloody cleansing in the very near future. Why? because the Priest has lost the plot, and even the congregation in that church. O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us, I trust in Thee.
Luke 12:48 …47"And that slave who knew his master's will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes, 48but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of a flogging, will receive but few. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.
This is pretty strong..wow. I agree with what he is saying, totally agree, but we don't hear many people speak as bluntly as this anymore, not in the 'church of nice'.
In the West Coast...Irish Priests started our parishes. Lots of good and Holy priests left Ireland to start congregations. I am sure God will take care of your Island...a little more then the rest of the world. Brother al
Hi Brother Al, I suppose the point I am making is simply that though no nation is without its guilt we in Ireland, despite the current malaise and anti-catholic sentiment–for which our shepherds and clergy men have a lot to answer for before the throne of God–have long resisted the destructive tide of moral anarchy that has wreaked havoc in erstwhile "Christian nations". Though like I said, all have drunk to varying degrees from this poisoned chalice. I'm just grateful to God that our land has not been stained to any significant degree by that abomination of the slaying of innocents.
Remember with the "who am I to judge" quote? The media used that out of context to suit their agenda for everything. I feel as though the delusion which the media sent out with Pope Francis at the start of his papacy is beginning to dissipate and people are beginning to realise that he is not a liberal Pope. More Catholics, myself included, are reading what he actually says rather than what the media are saying he says.
Me too Sanctus. I read for myself now. The media have become, for us, a complete irrelevance. I must say, Glenns Pope Francis thread is fantastic for keeping up to date on the real story of what the Pope is saying.
Great letter to Ellen DeDegeneres http://www.charismanews.com/opinion...ellen-degeneres-calling-me-out-on-national-tv
I thought that was a good letter Indy, it was very well reasoned and relies on biblical teachings to expose the errors of the agenda that are being promoted around marriage "equality" and so on. I have a distinct feeling that that whole culture they have created for themselves is going to come under a lot of pressure from God very soon.
I was fooled myself by the media on the Holy Father, may God forgive me. I hope I am straightened out now. But I am astonished how lost so many in our Chruch our on things like sexual perversion. Astonished. Not only lay people but the clergy too. it is a case of the blind leading the blind, very often.
Diabolical disorientation. Without prayer and conversion we would be easily swept away by the propaganda and deceit that surrounds us. Thank God for the Rosary. It really is the antidote for these times of evil.
