It is always good to hear what the holy mystics/saints say about the future of Russia as well. It holds much more weight then our own bias opinions. It would also be wise to listen to the words of Our Lady of Fatima who warned that the errors of Russia (Atheism, Materialism and Hedonism) would spread. Guess what, they have spread to the West which is now more Atheistic, Materialistic, Hedonistic, Tyrannical and Militaristic than Putin's Russia.

It is also worthwhile to mention that the prophecies of private revelation are not set in stone; they are conditional prophecies subject to the free will and free response of man as well as to the free play of God's mercy.

I obviously have no more invested than you or anyone else participating in this thread.

The West brought this war to Putin's doorstep, not the other way around. The facts do matter. Putin's response thus far has been unbelievably restrained, given the nature of the threat on his doorstep. If Poroshenko decides to continue the unjust war of aggression and attrition against the Donbass, then Putin will be pressured to end it - some would say he has a moral responsibility do so. Of course, this is exactly what the Western warmongers want. All in all I don't see this ending well. The ball is really in Poroshenko's and the West's court now. All us arm-chair generals can do now is pick up our rosary beads and enter into spiritual combat.

 

Thing is Richard you are preaching to the choir on the fact that Russia has and still is spreading its error's throughout the world. No one on the MOG forum would disput this. The thing that is puzzling is how you and a few others make Russia a saint in comparison to the rest of the world. Sure you can find good preople in Russia. You can find good people in Ireland, the US, France and everywhere else too. Bottom line is, Russia has not converted and anyone would be a fool to contend otherwise. If what you are doing is trying to play a game of 'their better then us - their better then them' to prove that the consecration of Russia has taken place and what we now see in Russia is the result of that, you are gravely mistaken. Any objective observer of what Russia has been doing and is continuing to do would see that they are fullfilling the prophecy of their evil design as we speak. One would have to be in denial to think Putin is any better then Obama or any other leader of the world today. Bottom line is, we are about to enter 'the greatest confrontation the world has ever seen' (Pope John Paul II prohecy) and our world leaders are not going to be of any help, rather they will be a nemise to the world.

Yes the prophecies are not 'set in stone' as you say. But do you really think we are witnessing the type of repentance to save this world that our Lord and Blessed Mother have been revealing through prohecy in the past 150 years that will call down God's mercy on this generation?

 

He is a victim of the diabolical disorientation Sr. Lucy spoke about. The Church has not consecrated Russia as requested at Fatima but Churchmen have insisted otherwise, leading many into obvious errors in the misinterpretation of current world events. Yet some of those who have been mislead refuse to be corrected when the facts stare them in their face, preferring instead to embrace the propaganda of one side of a war in which there is no good side, as both sides are leading us to a global conflagration.

Now, now Brian, no need to attribute my opinions to the demonic. But since you took the conversation in that direction, one could just as easily say that some Catholics have become infected with the demonic spirit of disobedience and suspicion as it pertains to what legitimate Church authorities have stated regarding the Consecration of Russia. One could also say that some Catholics are strangely silent over Western warmongering in Ukraine while simultaneously having a strange obsession with demonizing Putin - a demonization that, oddly, mirrors the demonization coming out of Obama's State Department.

 

Don't worry, it won't take long to find out who's prognostications are right here.

By the way, I've never been silent about the West or the East. I've been consistently stating that both are bad guys. I don't obsessively demonize Putin the way you obsessively defend him.

I will demonize the George Soros' 'New World Order' motivated West's involvement as well as Putin's tsarist thug aspirations. But the former is not what this thread originally was about; it was about the latter.

Neither are worthy of our support or cheerleading as Catholics. And both are equally to blame for what's coming.

 

North Korea EMP attack could destroy U.S. — now

A Super-EMP warhead would have a low yield, like the North Korean device, because it is not designed to create a big explosion, but to convert its energy into gamma rays, that generate the EMP effect. Reportedly South Korean military intelligence concluded, independent of the EMP Commission, that Russian scientists are in North Korea helping develop a Super-EMP warhead. In 2012, a military commentator for the People’s Republic of China stated that North Korea has Super-EMP nuclear warheads.
A Super-EMP warhead would not weigh much, and could probably be delivered by North Korea’s ICBM. The missile does not have to be accurate, as the EMP field is so large that detonating anywhere over the United States would have catastrophic consequences. The warhead does not even need a re-entry vehicle, as an EMP attack entails detonating the warhead at high-altitude, above the atmosphere.

North Korea’s successful orbit of a satellite demonstrates its ability to make an EMP attack against the United States — right now.

The Congressional EMP Commission estimates that, given the nation’s current unpreparedness, within one year of an EMP attack, two-thirds of the U.S. population — 200 million Americans — would probably perish from starvation, disease and societal collapse.

Thus, North Korea now has an Assured Destruction capability against the United States. The consequences of this development are so extremely grave that U.S. and global security have, in effect, gone over the “strategic cliff” into free-fall. Where we will land, into what kind of future, is as yet unknown.

Nevertheless, some very bad developments are foreseeable. Iran will certainly be inspired by North Korea’s example to persist in the development of its own nuclear weapon and ICBM programs to pose a mortal threat to the United States. Indeed, North Korea and Iran have been collaborating all along.

If North Korea and Iran both acquire the capability to threaten America with EMP genocide, this will destroy the foundations of the existing world order, which has since 1945 halted the cycle of world wars and sustained the global advancement of freedom. North Korea and Iran being armed with Assured Destruction capability changes the whole strategic calculus of risk for the United States in upholding its superpower role, and will erode the confidence of U.S. allies — perhaps to the point where they will need to develop their own nuclear weapons.

Most alarming, we are fast moving to a place where, for the first time in history, failed little states like North Korea and Iran, that cannot even feed their own people, will have power in their hands to blackmail or destroy the largest and most successful societies on Earth. North Korea and Iran perceive themselves to be at war with the United States, and are desperate, highly unpredictable characters. When the mob is at the gates of their dictators, will they want to take America with them down into darkness?

So...why would the peace loving, newly converted Russians be assisting North Korean, and through North Korea, Iran, in designing and building missile ready Super-EMP devices?

Maybe to use North Korea as a proxy against the West with plausible deniability on the part of Russia, should the rogue state of North Korea use them?

 

There is no winner in what is about to unfold. Only those who are praying the rosary daily, receiving the sacraments and staying in the state of grace will receive mercy/protection when the storm hits our own areas. Once the consecration of Russia does take place, then and only then will heaven react to save the world. Let us keep this in our daily prayers.

However, Pry said that armed with a nuclear weapon and exploded over the East Coast, one or two of the SA-2s being launched over the East Coast would knock out the Eastern grid, which services some 70 percent of the U.S. population.

At the time of the 1962 Cuban missile crisis, the SA-2s were not an issue of contention for elimination from the island. Instead, the focus was on the ground-to-ground missiles the Soviet Union then removed. However, the SA-2s remain in Cuba to this day.

Revelation of a Cuban SA-2 on a North Korean ship also brought into focus the increasingly close military ties Pyongyang is developing with Havana.

Pry said that an EMP attack on the U.S. would not have to originate from North Korea but could be a missile, such as the SA-2, launched from a freighter off the U.S. East or Gulf Coasts. At that point, there would be no missile defense capable of halting such an event.

With a missile launched from a freighter, it could be difficult to identify who is responsible for an attack.​

Girkin is a loose cannon. He views himself as a warrior in a bigger war against a godless West that has lost its Christian roots and thirsts for Russia’s resources to feed its decadent ways. Girkin prides himself on his service to the greater Russian cause and has no reason to toe the Kremlin line. Hardcore Russian nationalists already consider him a worthy alternative to President Vladimir Putin.

For Girkin, there is no question of who started the conflict; he claims to have started it himself. “I’m the one who pulled the trigger of war. If our squad hadn’t crossed the border, it all would have ended like in Kharkiv or Odesa. There would have been a few dozen killed, burned, and arrested. And that would have ended everything,” Girkin says. “Our squad set the flywheel of war in motion. We reshuffled all the cards on the table.”​

Your own quote demonstrates that Padraig is much more open-minded on this subject than you would like to have it.

The Church speaking in an official capacity via the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith Cardinal Ratzinger and his Secretary Archbishop Bertone have stated that the Consecration was done. The conspiracy theorists thought that this Consecration was going to have some magical, instantaneous effect on Russia and the world. They view it as some sort of political weapon with which to bend the will of Russia and instantaneously usher in the Era of Peace. When these results failed to materialize as they envisioned they reasoned that the Consecration must not have been done and the Church authorities must be engaged in a sinister plot. This is an example of circular reasoning and it has not only resulted in unjust attacks on good men like Bertone and ridiculous inventions like "two Lucys" to sustain the circular reasoning, but it has also led to an irrational and dangerous demonization of Putin and Russia.

 

Attributing my views to diabolical disorientation - as Brian K attempted to do - is rather over the top, wouldn't you say?
