I was heartened to see my niece take a little plastic blue rosary from her pocket one day. Quite unexpected and wonderful to see prayer being matter of fact as part of daily life. She asked me do I pray the rosary, as though it were the most normal everyday question to throw into a conversation between what's the weather and what's for lunch! She's also 12. Fantastic to see.
Personally, I'm happy to see clueless young people wearing the rosary as jewelry. Just as with dabbling in the occult, an invitation is an invitation. I'm praying that the Blessed Mother will grab all those rosary wearing kids by the scruff of the neck and take them straight to Jesus!

I'm with you on this one. If I didn't trust in the Lord working in mysterious ways, I don't think I could make it through the day - any day!!!
I like it cause it gives me an opening for conversation. For instance, I checked out of a gas station and the guy was wearing a beautiful rosary, so I asked, Do you just wear that rosary or do you pray it? He said he wore it because it was his brother's who died. Well, like Kathy said, maybe he will one day find out how to pray it as well as wear it.
Me too, Kathy. Perhaps the Blessed Mother is prepping people for the warning? When it happens, they will look at that Rosary hanging around their neck very differently and many, if not most, will be new converts to the Faith?
I see what you all are saying and I get it and do like what you are saying but it also saddens me to think that they are so close and yet don't get it or know the power that is so close to them if they would use it. I see so many cars with rosaries hanging on the rear view mirror and I always feel happy to see it then wonder if they just hang it there or do they use it! I have one hanging off mine as a constant reminder to say the rosary.
For many many years my cars have had the Pray the Rosary bumper sticker http://www.leafletonline.com/Pray-the-Rosary-Bumper-Sticker/productinfo/02925/ on them and have often wondered whether it has brought others to think. Maybe 20-25 years ago, when cb radios' were popular, I passed a semi-truck on the interstate and the driver came on his radio and said, "good to see there are still some faithful people out there". You just never know.

On our cars, we have one that reads: Angry, need a weapon? Pray the Rosary. We often have people honk or give thumbs up when they see it.
YES Kathy, I am a HS nurse and so many of my "pretend gangsta suburban" boys wear rosaries around their neck....I always say...in my head....Blessed Mother Protect them....far better than pentograms or evil stuff....I agree!
