I have read most of the locutions, and would like to share with you an email from a friend who knows Msgr. Eseff, (Spiritual Director of the locutionist) when I asked her about the locutions. (I also know well Bill and Lisa who are mentioned in her email) I would also like to add that I was in touch with a well known Priest friend (you would most likely know him) who did not believe the locutions. He tried to contact Msgr. about them but was unable to. I do not want to send you his reply until I contact Father to see if he would approve of my posting his reply. Discern carefully these locutions. God bless you. Hi Lynne, I have known Msgr. since 2005. We have worked closely with him since 2007 with the Sacred Heart Apostolate. He is indeed a very holy man. His history as a priest is one of total dedication and sacrifice, especially his time in the Middle East. He is an incredible confessor. He can truly read souls and gets to the root sin, not in an intellectual way, but by listening to the Holy Spirit as he is listening to you. He is an exorcist and always carries a large crucifix with him. He knows the enemy and his wiles. He is a small man, crippled with the ailments of old age but always smiling and has a simplicity and power about him. He was Bill (R's) spiritual director for a while. Lisa (M) also knows him. I am not real familiar with the locutions. I only heard about the website recently. An interesting story told to me by one of Msgr's friends: Years ago when Msgr. was in the Middle East he was traveling on a bus which was stopped by some Islamists. They boarded the bus with rifles and demanded to know if there were any Jews or Christians on board. Msgr. stood up and holding the crucifix high walked toward them and said," I am a Catholic priest. You have no authority here. Get off of this bus!" They got off. He must have been speaking to the demons as well as the men. He is fearless, strong and totally at peace. I am sure that Bill would love to share with you also. God bless you, Peggy
Then why do you read them? You're perfectly free to reject them. I believe that mothersuperior 7 has already answered with points that are similar to my own thoughts. Your questions seem to demonstrate that you haven't read all of the messages or have forgotten those that have answered the questions you pose. And I would judge that the good Monsignor has more tried experience and expertise to discern the wisdom and love contained within for our benefit. It sounds like you would prefer our mother to be a female member of the IDF! Your beef also appears to be only with the sins of the West, some not accurately stated or placing the over all historical blame on the wrong nation....but nevertheless these questions ARE uniquely spoken to within the messages.....but more important are the solutions presented....for all. The big point within for all to learn is that man has failed on his own; leaders of today won't have the answers themselves; and the solution for all is to turn to her Son through her Immaculate Heart of refuge for the first time or re-turn to Him by those who thought there was another way, and ask for help that has been rejected for too long. She awaits the decisions made through man's gift from God.....his free will.
Hi Lynn and welcome! I have read what you posted above three times now and can't quite decipher if you are telling us to be careful because they are false or be careful in condemning them because they are true? Can you clear this up for me? Thanks. I am still in the discerning process myself but have been more encouraged lately especially since Msgr. George Brubaker who just just joined has been reading them and discussing them in his parish as well and feels they are valid. Thanks!
Also for your discernment (regarding the consecration of Russia): “Some critics say the consecration of Russia was never properly done. While I take the word of St. John Paul the Great, Pope Emeritus Benedict and Sr. Lucia (one of the actual Fatima visionaries) that it was, I certainly agree it would have been better had it been done earlier. But that is neither here nor there.” (Charlie Johnston) Nov. 21, 2012, LTTW: “So, I call upon my Church to open the Fatima gift as quickly as possible. Consecrate Russia to my mother’s Immaculate Heart. When this is done, the power and light of Fatima will be released upon a world steeped in darkness and on the verge of nuclear disaster. When this consecration is fulfilled, I will raise my voice in powerful ways to call the whole world to unimaginable conversion. Peace will come, just as my mother has promised.”

The discernment of messages claimed to be from God is a hugely difficult matter. I have been trying to discern messages since the early 1990s. In that time I have made MANY mistakes. I have firmly believed in seven 'locutionists' who turned out to be false.and I actively promoted three of those. When people expressed doubts to me about any of those three, I was always able to answer them without difficulty. So I know it is quite futile to engage in trying to persuade someone that particular messages cannot be true. The ONLY real test, in my view, is the fruits. Authentic messages will bear abundant good fruit. This is why no one should doubt, for example, Medjugorje. I am quite sure that Mgr Essef is a good and holy priest but I'm afraid that doesn't make him necessarily a good discerner of whether an individual is receiving authentic communications from Jesus or Our Lady. I believe he is gravely mistaken in his discernment in this case.
May I add one more thing: Our Lady asked for the First Saturday Devotion to Her Immaculate Heart. Are we doing it? Are our Priests speaking about it? Can we even find a Mass on First Saturdays in our towns? We must help Our Lady in promoting this. Fiat!
I have absolute trust in Msg. Eseff, and do not believe he would be able to promote false messages. Yes, many of us have been hooked for a time by false messages, but we were shown the truth. Msg. Eseff is not the average Joe in the pew. Again, I would avoid recklessness here. Who wants to work against our Mother? Better to err on the side of caution, and ponder these things in our hearts. Another thing - Charlie had an interesting explanation of some of the messages he received. As I understood him, they came as full blown ideas, and he had to find words to express them. Something to consider. All messages carry the fingerprints of the messenger.
I originally wrote that it was because of the truth of that statement that I am becoming a bit alarmed at these messages. But I was misreading your statement. Yes, messages are likely to reflect, to some degree, the humanity of the messenger but the voice I increasingly detect in these messages is a voice, not of the messager, nor Jesus or Mary but of 'the other one'. I do agree very much that we need to be very careful about coming out against particular messages because of the danger of being mistaken but the language of the LttW messages can not, for me, be that of Jesus and Mary.
I am a long time lover of the messages of Fr. Gobbi. When did he change his mind about the consecration?? I've read the book numerous times. Never read that.
I think the video makes perfect sense. Since the U.S. propped up Osama and Sudam Hussain; and since as the 'Iman of all Imans' Osama was in a position to do a great good--'A jihaidist to do peace'--THIS is what Msgr. is saying. 'Turn toward that good which you COULD do in the world because of your office. Do it and you will be called great. Build that temple in the desert to Jesus--the prophet which YOUR KORAN calls great"; son of the MOTHER whom you call 'ever-virgin and the purist of ALL women and an example to all motherhood! He is asking Osama to step out in Faith--to follow what his KORAN SAYS--to call on ALLAH the merciful--NOT for destruction, but for good. Our own main stream media has screwed with our heads. Remember, ol Sudam was put in power by our own govt. and propped up. He poisoned his own people! Slaughtered the Kurds. Osama was a man who chose evil. You can't blame Msgr. Esseff for stepping forward in faith. He is trying to convince him of something that Muslims, Christians and Jews believe. Many don't realize that the Muslims believe, as do the Jews that the Messiah will come through a 'golden gate'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Gate_(Jerusalem)
It was not in the book. Later when questioned about the consecration, he said that it was accepted. I don't remember who it was told to, but I do know it came from a good source. I will look through my MMP notes and let you know if I am able to find it. Blessings.
Please read the message from Fr. Roux: http://www.mmp-usa.net/arc_russia.html I believe I received another message from the MMP in which Fr. Gobbi stated that the consecration had been accepted, but I cannot find it at this time. We must remember that it was not done specifically the way Our Lady requested, and also, as I mentioned earlier, are we doing what Our Lady requested of us: The First Saturday Devotion to Her Immaculate Heart? I have lived in several places in Florida, Hanceville, AL, and now Tenn., and I cannot tell you how many very good Catholics do not even know about it! Most Priests do not even mention the word "Fatima" nor do they have Masses on First Saturdays. It's so very sad! We must spread this devotion! Perhaps that is why Our Lady added the words "...it will be late." God bless you.
