Mmm, I see a bank is restricting the amounts that customers can withdraw and you have to provide a reason for withdrawing YOUR money http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-25861717 Safer under your own bed than with communist banks!
Better there than the bank, but what happens when it is devalued. Might be also good to have silver or gold rounds as well.
I think if you read the whole story, the HSBC have stopped asking for evidence for why customers want the money, after complaints. One of the big problems that faces those who work in the financial sector, is unwittingly being a conduit for money laundering. The UK is a big financial services provider and it has to be careful that is not not complicit in crime from drugs/people-trafficking/slave labour etc. I would be surprised if this was anything to do with Communism !
I understand the point you make. But why must the majority have to suffer because of the malpractise of a few? Why should I have to give a reason for taking my own money out? The bank was acting as if they owned the money hence my use of the adjective 'communistic'.
Well the innocent do suffer because of the misuse of Freewill. Welcome to the human race. The bank was trying to protect the innocent by making some checks. It was not trying to claim that it owned the money. I think sometimes we all need to take a little breath, a little step back and start to think clearly. Unfortunately I am not scaremongering. I have a lot of respect for Gerald Celente of Trends Research. If you have time listen to him in this video.
To anyone who has been following the moves of the banks over the last few months, the latest concerning HSBC comes as no surprise. This is all about capital controls and fears of a bank run in light of the increasingly obvious fact that the 'Too Big to Fail' (or 'Jail') banks are massively leveraged and at risk of default, as well as being compromised by their role in major manipulations currently being investigated by the regulators. Chase already prohibited international wire transfers in November, ostensibly because of the 'risks involved with such transactions'(!). Wells Fargo tightened its existing restrictions on online savings transfers under 'Regulation D' in December. Here too in France the daily limit for transfers has been revised down. What clearly has the banks worried is that account holders afraid of the bail-ins for which legislative provision has been made in a number of countries will attempt to move their money outside the country concerned or out of the banking sector altogether. It also needs to be noted that under the Dodd-Frank Act, bank depositors have been redefined as unsecured creditors. This is critically important as in the event of a bank default, unsecured creditors have the lowest priority in terms of recovering their savings.

While prudence is necessary, in so far as what we do with money and all our resources, we had better be prepared to give it all up to live in the Divine Will. If we cling to our money and possessions we risk loosing our faith when we loose the aforementioned. I understand how our human nature is to find a way to secure our assets, hoping they will provide us a means of persevering these times ahead, but everything I am reading in the living in the Divine Will seems to conflict with making ourselves 'bullet proof' when the monetary crunch comes.
you can't be worried about money in the times ahead. be prudent but above all be prepared to band together with family for security and shelter and trust in God for all things. trust you will get what you need to survive.
Yes. We will form little communities of families and friends reliant on divine providence - sustained by love, nourished by the Eucharist and the Word of God.
I see stocks have taken a tumble http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/markets/2014/01/31/stock-drop-in-january-raises-worry/5077353/
Read two interestimg articles last night: http://utopiathecollapse.com/2014/0...uk-banks-for-property-crash-risk-of-bail-ins/ http://utopiathecollapse.com/2014/0...savings-confiscation-enforced-redistribution/ Where is this all going?
So much trouble arising in Europe with the rise of Le Pen in France and UKIP in Britain. The parliament in Brussels was attacked yesterday by a mob and had to be protected by the police. I woke up last night with the thought that the stability of the Euro has to be in question. A famous Evangelist and prophet ( who I do not want to name) said to a friend of mine that an event is coming that will shake the world in the next 2 months. It will be an act of mercy but not the warning. It will cause many to turn to prayer. I think it must be the financial crash that has been prophesied. Since I came back from Medgujorje I have a deep desire to pray constantly. I feel we are very close. God bless. I prayed for all of the people on this forum when I was there, that our faith will be strong. Mary
Very interesting Mary Rose. I am in the financial field (high net worth investment advisor) and feel you could be right. I moved out of stocks personally back in April but would never suggest to all of you to do the same but will tell you what I did. I am only 38 and have time on my side to be wrong if I am wrong. I find you wrote interesting though because I to feel that before the Warning, other events have to occur. I feel God really wants us on our knees so to speak before he puts us on our knees with the Warning. I agree that some of these things would be first the collapse of financial markets because quite frankly God needs to collapse the thing that all crave and the thing that leads many to evil and in reality is just dust....money! Secondly I feel this would lead to war. Maybe not a full on WW3 but the start. Money and the desire for stuff and comfort has always lead to war (stuff and comfort is not money directly but has been fought over forever, water, salt, oil, food, etc). Shortly after the start of war I feel is when we will get the Warning. These are my own beliefs but feel very strongly about them. All this stuff does not matter though if we have Trust in God then who cares what happens to the things that turn to dust in this world....including us and our loved ones. If we are to die in the months ahead then what a great thing to have happen to us for then we return home to Our Mother and Father....eventually after some deserved time in Purgatory for me at least.
Andy, this conc I know this isn't the first time we've had this discussion, but what you say concurs very strongly with my own findings, Andy, and to hear this from someone professionally involved in the financial field carries weight. What is extremely compelling is the convergence between what is being said prophetically (both in Catholic and non-Catholic sources, dating back at least as far as Ned Dougherty's and Howard Storm's near-death experiences in the 1980s) with what the more lucid economic analysts have also been saying for some while now (Sprott, Maguire, Rickards, Stockman, von Greyerz...). The structural problems of international finance and toxicity level of global debt are such that a collapse is mathematically guaranteed if the basic principles of economics mean anything at all. Anyone who has paid serious attention to the figures and doesn't believe that there will be crash is either extremely naïve, in denial or else has a vested interest in conveying an overly optimistic picture to the public. What the trigger will be is a matter of speculation, of course, as is the relationship of a financial meltdown to the Warning, but the basic scenario ought not to be a mystery to anyone who has been keeping their spiritual ears open. It has to be emphasized, however, that although this is all likely to be extremely messy, the coming demise of the present financial configuration is absolutely a case of 'redemptive judgment'. Given our unwillingness to change, God has no choice but to carry out some serious surgery in order to free us from the deadly disease of consumer materialism. The danger moment will of course come when the Enemy launches the big power play of making humanity an 'offer it can't refuse' to create order out of the economic chaos - ordo ab chao. No prizes for guessing whose motto that is...
