This is definitely one of the great signs of the times. It is the United Nations scathing condemnation of the Catholic Church for its refusal to accept their ideology of Abortion, Contraception and Homosexuality. How ironic is it that this morally corrupt body of the UN condemns the refusal of the Church towards the act of homosexuality, while condemning the act of pedophilia, which is the action of some priests acting outright towards their homosexual preferences.

With the Lunaček report, which gained a support in EU parliament, we are headed toward the persecution of the Catholic church in regard of its moral teachings. Homosexual lobby has gained momentum with this victory and this will usher a widespread homosexual and gender theory propaganda in kindergartens and schools. God helps us!
I think much worse is to come, before God sends us a devine warning because God will first punish us for this abomination, like he punished Israelites when they didn't followed His teachings. I think God will allow former Christian world to become prey of Islam brought in by muslim immigrants.

Scary. This is hugely significant. The world, effectivlely, is beginning to openly rise up against the Church Christ established.
    Massively significant....

If ever there was a time to pray 7 Our Fathers for the Pope, its today.

Isn't that the truth? The great scandal is not pedophilia, it is rampant homosexuality, which focuses on youth.

I actually view this UN report as a blessing in disguise. This report brings out into the open what has been a hidden agenda by the UN and quite frankly most other countries in the world to bring down the Catholic Church. This report clearly demonstrates the disdain and the open hostility that the UN has toward the Church and more importantly the basic and fundamental tenets of our faith. The lines have been drawn in this battle. There is no longer any doubt where the world stands (as evidenced by the UN). Now, I quite frankly am not worried or concerned by this report and certainly look at the signatories and see the hypocrisy. This reports only re-energizes me and confirms for me to continue the "battle". I'm not at all disheartened. In fact, this reminds me of how Joshua exhorted the people of Israel:

"If it is displeasing to you to serve the LORD, choose today whom you will serve, the gods your ancestors served beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites in whose country you are dwelling. As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”- Joshua 24:15

This report serves to make the choices quite clear at least in my mind.

That's actually a good angle to view this issue Miker. It seems the two sides in these times we live in are clearly showing themselves.

Yes, it will solidify the lines of battle. Sadly, I'm pretty sure our side will be miniscule.

And this battle is coming with lightning speed. Think of how quickly the homosexual agenda has been accepted as correct and compassionate by the vast majority of the American people. Obama was forced to say he believed marriage was only for a man and a woman in his 2008 campaign. If he had told the truth, he probably wouldn't have been elected! And think of all the "good" German church-going people who bought Hitler's agenda, hook, line and sinker.

We need to pray without ceasing for our deaf, dumb and blind brothers and sisters, especially those in positions of power.

    United Nations and child abuse!

Irony of ironies - the biggest promoters of abortion pontificating about child abuse.

    Hypocrites.

I hope and pray many more people will see the obvious and crude secular attack on the body of Christ. Its all so prophetic. I'm going to double up my prayer effort for Pope Francis and a few extra for Benedict also.

It seems like a last ditch effort from Satan, who is afraid of the popularity of the current Pope and sees all the signs right now, which there are so many.

I couldn't agree with you more miker :) well said

for me today's news events is like a real life role play of Revelation 7 with the most striking line being..

“These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The UN does not care about children or the family, they want to control families.

Kathy, no worries there either :)

David was much smaller than Goliath. Ancient Israel came out of bondage from the much more powerful Egyptians. We put our faith and trust in God and we will move mountains.

Excuse me but I am having a right go at the UN, I think this video has good information on the UN's use of an environmental Holocaust to gain control of humanity.

Our archbishop Mgr Léonard (see his picture below) asked that yesterday would be a day of fasten and prayer and in three different locations in Belgium a big prayer evening was organised. In Brussels in the Basilica there was a big crowd and all christian confessions were present. Bishop Mgr Léonard asked all the faithful, all Christians to participate in this so that there would come no law in Belgium permitting euthanasia for children (!!!). This is a shame for Belgium because it would be the first country in the world to introduce euthanasia for children ! There were also orthodox and protestant representatives standing next to Mgr Léonard. Politicians were very mad because of this day of prayer and fasten. They criticized Mgr Léonard, saying the Church "must not interfere with politics". Amazing .... When we fast and pray, do we interfere ???!! No..... But why are they then so mad ??? Because the devil knows the power of prayer and fasten !!! There were a lot of journalists in the Basilica and also after the celebration Mgr Léonard was interviewed by a journalist because he openly took position against euthanasia for children during that celebration. Mgr Léonard was very emotive when he spoke about this. The celebration itself was beautiful: we all prayed three decades of the Rosary, there were Taizé prayers during which we asked for God's Mercy, there was a procession where every single person could put a candle in front of the statue of Mary, "Virgin of the Poor" where she appeared in Banneux in Belgium (you will see Her picture below), we had adoration of the Holy Sacrament Who passed through the mass of people (in presence of protestants and orthodox who remained very silent and respectful !). In one word: it was a beautiful evening where all Christians hold hands when praying a final "Our Father" at the end. Jesus Maranatha !

Even though it is illegal in the US, euthanasia of children still happens.....I saw a case just last week at the hospital where I work :-(
