Limerick got flooded really badly. Evacuation centers have been setup and rescue is by any means possible.

Wow. Some power in those waves.

Elisa, that first link in Spain is not too far from Garabandal.

    Luke 21
    25 'There
    will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; on earth nations in agony, bewildered by the turmoil of the ocean and its waves;

26 men fainting away with terror and fear at what menaces the world, for the powers of
    heaven will be shaken.

    27 And then they
will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 When these things begin to take place, stand erect, hold your heads high, because your liberation is near at hand.'

Yes Indy, I know, it is not too far from Garabandal and I am not sure about it but I think there was a prophecy given at Garabandal telling us that it would be hard to get to the Miracle because of the situation in the world (if I remember well . Glenn help !! ). That situation in the world could also perhaps be because of what you mentioned from the Scriptures: "on earth nations in agony, bewildered by the turmoil of the ocean and its waves".
You know, a prophecy in Belgium says that the sea will come near to Brussels, where I am, but that means that all those people who are close to the
    coast.....

Tomorrow, Thursday, we will have here in Belgium a day of fasting and during the evening we will pray in the churches (request from the archdiocese) so that the law that permits euthanasia for children, will be cancelled.

It is so strange that they hardly mention all this at tv.... here in Belgium. Perhaps because there is too much going on ?? Be prudent Ian, you and your family. Our Lady will protect you.

I initiated this thread on 21st December 2013 several weeks after the extreme weather had begun.

And now one week into Feb 2014 the weather is still creating havoc with more warnings.

Nature is reacting to counter balance the unnatural (abortion in Ireland and abominable marriage in England).

i believe it is weather everywhere. in the us, we've had extreme, extreme cold (0 degees F and below) for several days, then unusual warmth (in the 50's F) for a few days. We've had 2 waves of such extremes in the northeast. snow amounts have not been unusual though.

the whole earth is groaning and responding to the sin of the world. I believe though it's a taste of coming events.

Micah 4: 9-10 Now why do you cry aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counsellor perished, that pangs have seized you like a woman in labour? Writhe and groan, O daughter Zion, like a woman in labour, for now you shall go forth from the city and camp in the open country; you shall go to Babylon. There you shall be rescued, there the Lord will redeem you from the hands of your enemies.

Dream: The dream started in a hospital. I saw two men that I know making beds in the hospital. I asked why they were doing that. They said there was no one else to do it. Then I realized we were in a war. The two sides were the Germans and the Russians as in WWII when Nazi Germany invaded Russia. The Nazis were the enemy. I felt in the dream that I knew my side would win the war. But suddenly and ferociously the enemy attacked. I was astonished at the weapons they had. They drove their tanks over soldiers before they could so much as get out of the way. They fired their tank-guns and killed those farther afield. They were merciless. It was carnage, far, far worse than I had ever expected. What amazed me was how well-prepared and well-equipped the enemy was. Most astonishing was the speed with which the attack came and how easily they seemed to overtake those on our side. A most disturbingly vivid dream.

One thing I feel we are being warned about is complacency. We need to re-double our efforts, increase our prayers and sacrifices. We have the victory but let us not be caught off-guard. Watch and pray! The enemy wants to separate as many souls as possible from the Church so that they are not receiving the sacraments. Cling to the sacraments with all your might! They are the most powerful weapons we have. If you want to find out how powerful, read Marino Restrepo’s “Catholics Awake!”

Heavenly Father in Jesus we have the victory. Help us to remain steadfast in the faith. Help us to avail ourselves of the spiritual weapons you give us—post especially the sacraments. Jesus we trust in you. Save souls!

yes I know Fatima...it is unusual but we are getting off easy compared to other areas of the country. I don't know why...and we dont deserve it...the state that started the legalization of same sex marriage

A British MEP was slammed by the media and dismissed from his party lately for stating that the current flooding in Britain is a direct result of legalizing same sex "marriage". Irish farmers are now saying that the flooded land will not be any good for planting crops this year, so there will be food shortages. Now read what St. John Chrysostom wrote about the sin of Sodomy:

"Consider how great is that sin, to have forced hell to appear even before its time! For that rain was unwonted, for the intercourse was contrary to nature, and it deluged the land, since lust had done so with their souls. Wherefore also the rain was the opposite of the customary rain. Now not only did it fail to stir up the womb of the earth to the production of fruits, but made it even useless for the reception of seed. For such was the intercourse of the men, making a body of this sort more worthless than the very land of Sodom. And what is there more detestable than a man who hath pandered himself, or what more execrable?"

@Adoremus - thanks for posting that paragraph. What an amazing parallel with what we are experiencing at the moment.

Some footage of the power of the sea on the southeast coast. Ive never experienced sustained storms like this in all my life. Gerard Flemming of met eireann was on RTE yesterday talking of the fact that the rain has been falling now for 10 weeks, coupled with severe atlantic storms. Well the atlantic spills onto the promonade in Tramore Co. Waterford in the following video with terrifying force:

'Praise You in this Storm' (good Christian song by a good Christian band 'Casting Crowns' and seems to fit with current weather in Ireland/Uk)
