I think you're really on to something here. We are so into a thumbs up/thumbs down mentality, forgetting that prophets are human, and suffering from the effects of original sin. St. Francis of Assisi couldn't bear the people of his day proclaiming him a Saint while he still walked the earth. He said something like this, "You call me a Saint? Don't you know that I am still perfectly capable of fathering children?" All of us are capable of being deceived, and all of us are at risk to detour from the narrow way while there is life in the body. Getting off track doesn't negate everything that went before.

Dear Verne, Wonderful to have you with us on the forum! As you'll see if you read this thread on 'God speaks will you listen', several of us here have been deeply impacted by reading it and are making a serious prayerful effort to discern God's voice in these messages. And yes, we do have many questions! Having read the whole pdf, my first one would be which messages were given to Cletus S. and which to you? It looks like yours start at page 12 - did you then receive all the rest? My second question is this: what if any was your experience of the supernatural prior to receiving your first locution?

Jackie, thanks for the follow-up. While ice fishing in Minnesota today, since the fish were not biting, I continued to read Verne's messages towards the end of his writings on the new era of peace, the glorified bodies that those living in the new era will have and a deeper understanding of the moments leading up to the era of peace. It brought new light to my understanding about the presence of the anti-Christ for our times. Seems to me that Verne's messages make it clear that we are indeed in the time of Thee anti-Christ. If the Verne that came to this forum is the real Verne of the messages, I would like to know his understanding of this discussion.
The first twelve pages were writings that Cletus wrote for Mary's helpers newsletter. All of Cletus's writings were checked and approved by his priest. The rest I wrote down. I was not raised catholic. I joined the Catholic Church in 2004 and started writing these words down in 2006. I did not think much About these papers at first. I showed these to Cletus and he discerned the messages were from God. Before he made his book, he had it checked by several priests. Also, all the books were blessed using the roman missal by a local priest in mn. There is something very valuable with this book. The picture in the front. The picture was blessed by father Robert altier. Several people were healed by looking at the picture and praying to God the father. Each picture has the same blessing as the original picture. Cletus also said in the time of the plagues, God told him those who looked at the picture and prayed would be protected. This picture is a blessed article and is important. Some time I will have to tell you about this picture. This book was bizarre when we put it together. We were using a computer and the computer was fine. As soon as we tried to download these messages onto a cd the computer stopped working. We had to rebuke satan for each page in this book to be downloaded to a cd for the publisher. As soon as we stopped working on this book the computer worked fine. It was amazing how interference was received from the bad guys. That kind of said something. Sometime I have to tell you about Cletus, a walking saint. The miracles and healings which God performed when he prayed over people were amazing. Finally, my friend had a hard time writing. God gave me words to write down and my friend made the book. If you notice many of these words are answers to questions which I asked God. If I tell you about my background sometime it may help you understand the context of these messages.
Yes I received the rest. I first had an experience of Jesus as a child about 8 to 9 yrs of age. In my home, I saw Jesus, my guardian angel, and a demon. They were as real as seeing another person. I came from an atheistic background. My parents converted to the baptist church when I was five. From a young age, my dad would take me put and we would knock on doors and lead people to Jesus. To jump, many years into the future, when I was 37 I got involved in the occult and had other types of experiences.
I was born in Akron Ohio. I moved to mn in 2000 and lived there for 10 yrs. my wife is from St. Paul, mn.

Hi Verne, So Fr Robert Altier has been involved and blessed this work? The same Fr Altier who used to be interviewd on Relevant Radio by Drew Mariani? If so, what a beautiful positive sign for these messages as he is supposed to be a very holy priest!
Father altier blessed the picture in the front of the book. Another priest blessed the book itself . Yes I became a christian by attending father altiers classes. He is the same priest who was on Drew mariani 'a show.
Verne it is such a blessing to have you on this forum. I have literally run out of ink in my yellow highlighter studying and praying over your messages. For me, one who has studied Fatima, Garabandal and Akita messages for years, your messages speak to all of these with much more detail. What you say about childhood experience is very typical of people who receive locutions later in life (Catholics, Protestants and Orthodox) - what I would call the 'Samuel model' of prophetic calling. What you have to say about electrical equipment breakdown as a manifestation of demonic opposition is also very common, as I've encountered first-hand! How were you able to discern that the messages you began to receive after your conversion were genuinely from God? How did they differ from what you experienced when you were involved with the occult? As you may have seen, one specific issue in 'God speaks will you listen' which has provoked some discussion on this forum is the reference to Christina Gallagher which calls her 'my messenger' while being sharply critical of her apostolate's behaviour. Did this message come out of the blue, or had you been discussing Christina G. at the time (I know that Fr Altier had been aware of her)? A similar question is whether you had been familiar with the locutions given to Ottavio Michelini ('Confidences of Jesus to a priest') which resemble those of 'God speaks' to a remarkable degree? I hope you understand why I'm asking this - I'm not accusing you of plagiarism, it's just that with prophetic messages in general it's important to try to work out what the recipient was reading at the time, if anything, to see if there is any (unconscious) influence from outside sources. Fr. Altier is wonderful! I also used to attend Little Mary's prayer meetings! Perhaps I saw you there. I live in Minnesota, about an hour from the Twin Cities. Nice to meet you here, Verne! I also grew up in an atheist family and was a convert. I learned everything about the faith from Fr. Bernard Reiser.....if you knew Little Mary, surely you knew him?
Jackie, like I said several times on this thread. Verne's messages are profound to say the least. Towards the end of Verne's messages it became most clear that the Beast (the anti-Christ) and the False Prophet were defeated by the light of Christ to end this "6th day" and the 7th day (the new Era of Peace) is the day of rest. Gog and Magog (Rev. 20: 8-10), as GSWYL reveals, is the final period when Satan is released from hell to wage war on the holy ones once more, but "fire came down from heaven and consumed them" and "the devil will forever be in is eternal home with the beast and the false prophet for ever and ever". I can not be more grateful for having read these messages. It brought fourth clarity in detail that was not there for me until now. Thanks be to God and to Verne for being his messenger for out time in history.
