Luke 21:25-28: "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring." I like to watch a young American astrophysicist called Stefan Burns who talks about the suns activity with reference to its effect, together with that of the moon and the planets on seismic activity on the Earth. What drew my attention to him is that a lot of what he talks about is very close to what we know of Catholic Prophecy.I am a little wary of Scientists because in the British Philosophical tradition they tend to be very Atheistic and Materialistic. Seeing religion as the enemy and having no place for the mystical and spiritual in their thinking. However recently I saw Stefan, who is a young American Scientist publically praying which surprised me greatly, however Americans and American scientists are far more open to religion than Europeans and this is to their great credit. He has been talking recently about a lot that has been happening. I just think what Stefan is saying ties in so well with the Prpohesies of Our Lady of Fatima and Our Lady of Akita. This is more striking in that I don't think he may be a Catholic and is unaware how closely what he says is foretold in our Prophecies. And indeed in Scripture.
I see Europe is getting another ten day round of hot heat. We are getting it this week, heat watches are up. Mt.Etna is erupting. Time to be prepared. The shad flies on Lake Erie are the worse in years. If you’ve never driven through them you wouldn’t believe the mess. So thick you can’t see. They cover everything so thick you slip and slide on them. Fires are breaking out in the west. It’s going to be a hot, rockin’ rollin’ summer.
I think things have really kicked of in all kinds of ways. Especially in the Church. We hear such total horror stories at the moment, especially from Germany. But even from Rome. Every day now.
When the Mayflies comes of Lough Neagh they turn the white cottages black. But they seem harmless things . They remind me of the plagues that struck Egypt, the flies that rise of the River Nile.
