The forum may go offline a few times over the next 48 hours this is normal as we are currently doing maintenance, Thank you for your patience. Admin.
So thankful John for having a explanation. I tried several times yesterday to get on the forum. Thank you for all you do.
Adding my thanks and prayers for you John. May God reward you for all you do here. And thank you Padraig too for all you do here. Blessed
Thanks John, Great to see the site up and running again. I saw that it was down for some time yesterday. I sent a message to the MOG facebook page, when I noticed the site was offline but wasn't sure if it got through. Is the Fb page still active?
Thanks John. I was terrified yesterday when it went to a site to where I could possibly buy the domain name.
We used to have a email list but the only email I could find in email cobwebs of the past was AED. Maybe we could put one together again, for those who want to have a security blanket?
I would love this. I used to be connected to many via Facebook but got off that platform back in 2020 and never looked back. Assume John and Padraig have all our emails though because I get email notifications from posts sometimes.
Sorry Dave I can't answer anything about the Facebook page as Padraig looks after that I dont use or never had any social media platforms as I detests them @padraig can you answer Dave question on your facebook page
That's no problem John, I don't do much on Fb these days. I happened to remember there was a MOG page and seemed like a good way to make contact, with the main site down.
Makes me think of a time when the internet might be down permanently & we all lose touch. It will be devastating but know I do and will continue to pray for all our forum members.
Good idea! Maybe set it up in a private thread which i think only members can access? And/or Whats App?
we have over 3500 registered members. I would break that down to around 100 current active members and possibly 300 browsing members on a regular bases who don't post. there are probably around 200 that pop in once a year.
