The nice thing about blogging is you can wield a censor's scissor to block comments you don't like. Bloggers are often notorious for power-tripping when they censor out comments they don't like especially when the topic is something that borders on the controversial such as politics and religion about which they have some irreformable opinion or find contrary views offensive.

Anyway, as an academician, Ron Conte's works get linked to or quoted by just about any tom dick or harry who wants to have some solid basis for their arguments, silly or not, holy or blasphemous. Afterall, even atheists and Satanists quote the Bible in the wrong context or interpretations when supporting their twisted logic. That doesn't makes the Bible wrong.

Ron puts dates on his predictions which is often their undoing. He is exercising his eschatological guesswork and not his background as a theologian. Eschatology is an entirely different branch of study from Theology.

And one cannot really expect bloggers to be impartial and dispassionate about their ideas. And if it's of any value, the Catholic Church, or any religion for that matter, can hardly be exemplars of what it means to be impartial. Step out of bounds of Catholic Doctrine and Dogma, and you risk being excommunicated. Insult Mohammed in film or book reaching extremist Muslims, and you will have to change identity to remain alive.

If you like Alex you delete your own posts...there is a little green 'delete' button at the bottom of your posts you just press it and a pop up comes up.:)

How are things in the Phillipines? It must have been an incredible experience, the storm. I think you live there?

I was a little surprised at your statement:

...'the Catholic Church, or any religion for that matter, can hardly be exemplars of what it means to be impartial. Step out of bounds of Catholic Doctrine and Dogma, and you risk being excommunicated'.

Do you suggest then that the Church is wrong for defending it's own teachings?

I was clicking on that delete button but it didn't.

Yes, the category 5 - strength typhoon did not slice through the capital region Metro Manila where I live. But the latest news is that there could be more than 1,200 deaths in the central Philippines.

Of course not. I was referring to impartiality. No religion is impartial.

But of course one should not be impartial as far the truth is concerned.:)

We should be partial towards the truth....:) To phrase it this way seems...unusual ..for when he talk of partiality we usually mean bias, do we not?

Yes, bias is another term. But then, it is just unfortunate that the term has some negative connotation. It simply means preference to something but adds an element of exclusivity that makes others inferior by comparison. Same with partiality. I am biased towards Samsung Galaxy Tablets over iPads. People have biases on just about anything. So do religions. There is another term that I think is stronger - passion. There is no such thing as a religion that is dispassionate. Each one is passionate about a belief system. I am passionate, biased and partial to the Catholic Faith.

    Alex, hi,

I don't see it as a "nice thing" being a "censor." Ron should be strong enough to defend his opinion calling most of the current and earlier messengers false.

True, when "atheists and Satanists", anti-Catholics, fallen away Catholics and Protestants argue Scripture, they're WRONG. No authority. The problem is these same quote Ron Conte, Jr.'s site, 100% of the time, they're supporting his view. How awful and does not bring anyone to the faith.

Ron Conte is free to opine his views and reviews based on his knowledge as a Catholic Theologian. Not all theologians think the same way. Many are even bashing the Catholic religion. And some like this Dr. Bowring is even defending the bullshit of MDM and twisting catechism and Scripture for his purpose. Between a theologian who is not leading people to the faith, and one that is leading people away from it, I think I know which one is better.

I don't know. She could be genuinely possessed by the devil. One information is that the Dublin Bishop knows her and actually sent an exorcist priest whom she refused to meet. But that's 2nd hand information.

You obviously have not been to MDM pages in Facebook or the Totus Tuus Maria site which quote Dr. Bowring and also ridicule Ron Conte.

But no matter, you're free to discredit anyone you don't like.

You believe Ron's opinion, I don't. That isn't "ridicule." Alex, you do not address the fact anti-Catholics which include Protestants, fallen away Catholics, new agers and atheists quote Ron in response to their denial and attack on the messages from Heaven. Why are you still Ron's supporter?

    See you....:)

Messages from heaven??? Unless the Church has approved one, I don't bother with them, except perhaps MDM's obvious infernal BS that have caused division in many families and clear heresies that have duped lukewarm ignorant Catholics who embrace her claim that the Pope is the false prophet. There are 700+ so-called divine messages from private revelations and apparitions since 1900 and the Church only approved around 20 to date. Ron Conte is well within the statistics of fraudulent and unapproved messages. So Ron Conte can bash all the messages he wants and he would have a 97% chance of being correct.

And like I said, even the bible gets quoted by atheists, satanists, protestants and sedevacantists, fundamentalists, and traditionalists who oppose the pope. That doesn't make the bible in any way false. People can quote from whatever source they want to support their arguments, twisted or straight. You obviously have not been in any of those atheist and sedevacantist groups in Facebook who freely dish out scriptural verses to say that Catholicsm is wrong or that there is no Pope since this or that Pope, or the fact that MDMers freely quote scripture to support the BS of MDM. But none of that makes the bible false. So Ron can be quoted by these people too. But you haven't addressed the fact why MDMer's also bash Ron Conte.

Alex, then what are you doing at Ron's site and defending him? This is his fruit, to condemn most of the messages from Heaven. "Not interested", sounds like you are. The large number (700), could it be Heaven is shouting out to this world every day and pride keeps many from believing. God has been silent but for "20" messages, I do not think so. I'll be dead most likely before the 700 are approved by the Church. She is waiting for prophesied events in those messages to happen. Important, these divine events coming are also stated in the approved. God is getting the world ready, He understands our prideful disbelieving nature so He prepares the world for a long time. Take the good from the messages now.

I am not asking about the BIBLE rather, the denial of the messages from Heaven by anti-Catholics and their love for Ron. It is a awful to read the atheists and fallen away Catholics besides the Protestants praise and quote Ron Conte, Jr. What say you for the 3rd time asking?

The groups who are against the faith are FOR Conte, this should tell you.

MDM followers, truly, I wasn't aware. I haven't kept track of their opinion of Ron, no need to, MDM called the Holy Father the False Prophet. I'll reply to what you state and ask of me, they're correct on one thing, Ron Conte, Jr. He repeatedly professes an exact date for the Warning and keeps getting it wrong while he wants you to believe his personal judgment of God's messengers. Makes no sense, it is goofy.

I was converted at Conyers, it happened, the day Mary appeared. Another example, Ron is in error. Believe
instead, the Bishop over Conyers and other holy consecrated ones, take the good from the messages.

I think the only ones who have predicted the future with more wrong dates would be the Jehovah Witnesses. :D
