Well, between the recent oarfish that have washed up on shore and the meteors that came down the other night, I think California might be receiving some warnings. Are the end times coming upon us? The great Purification that is (soon) to come for all of humanity (Nov. 7, 2013) As I write this, an alleged mystic that I personally know is deathly ill---She is bedridden and has lost so much weight that sadly she currently weighs approximately only 50 pounds; from a original normal weight of approximately 170 pounds. She has been completely bedridden since May 5, 2010--that is, for 3-1/2 years. Over the years God has allegedly revealed to her many things concerning the future of the Church and the future of the world--prophesies that are often referred to as "The End Times" or "Great Warning". She was told by God to reveal these apocalyptic events, so encouraged and guided by her priest-spiritual director she obeyed and did as she was told. The majority of those who knew her and her life came to believe; but others have scorned and calumniated her, along with the alleged prophesies that were revealed to her. And before I go any further with this I must state that I will not reveal her identity here, because I "know" that I am not to do so. For sure, some remarkable events have surrounded her. Yet this author endeavors to be cautious, prudent, discerning and always in communion with the Catholic church. But I know that it can be that one can look someone in the eyes and "see" honesty, sincerity, the love of God.... And so it is that I spent literally years studying and reflecting in a spirit of prayer upon the events of her life and the revelations and prophesies that were revealed to her, and having done so I eventually came to the following conclusion: IF--and this is a very big "IF"-- what has been revealed to her is of God, and is therefore true, then ALL PEOPLES OF THIS EARTH WILL SOON UNDERGO A DIVINE PURIFICATION BY THE EXPRESS WILL OF GOD THAT WILL BE NOTHING LIKE THE EARTH HAS EVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE. -There will be unimaginable suffering on a worldwide scale and yet at times there will be unimaginable grace and mercy: For God will punish and He will heal--for the great purification that has been prophesied is solely for the salvation of souls. It will be a series of great events on a completely unimaginable spiritual and material scale. Be assured that I don't present such extraordinary statements simply based upon a single mystics private revelation. Throughout the years my spiritual studies have led me to many, many other mystics (though I have only known three alleged mystics personally)--and the "fruits" of some of this research is this very website. Essentially what I have discovered, and this definitely is no secret, is that all of the recent mystics--that is, those of the past 100+ years--have all been prophesying and pointing to this end times purification that is soon coming upon humanity. The question is, when exactly is "soon"? And the answer is that God alone knows. But many in this current day, myself included, feel that the "soon" is indeed very soon. In fact, I have already written how God's Purification-Warning was delayed, and the time of Mercy extended for humanity. But I can only say that at this point the mystic that I spoke of above definitely let it be known on a number of occasions that the prophesied Great Purification is to take place in the very near future--literally at any moment. And she certainly is not the only one to reveal this. A recent poll published through Reuters announced that when people all over the world were asked, one in seven (that is, 15%) of the earths population today feel that the end of the world--or at least the end of the current epoch, is coming. Why such a large percentage? Are souls throughout the world being enlightened concerning what is to come? Time will tell, as the popular saying goes. And for those interested in this subject of the End Times, I would like to suggest a new book that I just read entitled "The Signs of the Times, the New Ark, and the Kingdom of the Divine Will" by Kelly Bowring (Two Hearts Press, 2013). Using only Church approved/recognized sources, the author has compiled an excellent treatise of End Times prophesies and events, along with what they mean for all of us, and what should be our spiritual preparation, understanding and mindset for these upcoming times. In closing one thing is for sure: If what is prophesied concerning the Warning or Great Purification by the many recent Mystics of the Church comes to pass in our present days, then we are all in for the most unimaginable sufferings, and also the most unimaginable graces. I believe that now is not the time for spiritual laziness and tepid devotion--it is a time for us to go back to the original "Sources"--a fervent love centered on Jesus on the Cross and in the Eucharist and tender devotion to the most Blessed Virgin Mary (and I say this first and foremost for myself than for anyone who might happen to read this!) -May Jesus pour out His most precious blood upon all of humanity. Lord Jesus crucified, have mercy upon us!
If Medjugorje is true which I believe it is then we have been given ample time to convert. There can be no excuses. Our Lady has been appearing 33 years at Medjugorje. I
33 years is a good Biblical number. As is 40 years which I think will be the limit of the Medjugorje messages. Joey is elderly now, Conchita is a grandmother. Time is running out to convert. We must live very good lives and visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently and through prayer and conversion we are purified. The world will be purified either through the path of conversion or the path of suffering. The next 7 years will define this generation.
Garabandal, with the blood moons and eclipses to take place over the next couple of years, you could be right.
Yes Thomas. There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. There is nothing to fear if we convert for when we convert we are ready and able to meet God.
I have been so reluctant to describe a dream that has been recurring over and over again these last few months because I totally despair of getting across the tremendous feelings of awe and religious well...I guess Fear of the Lord...it provokes every time I witness it. But the testimony of the American mystic mentioned above encourages me to try once again. I am standing most often in a most beautiful Church ,were I have never been before except often in m6y dreams. This Church is not, I believe in Ireland. Before me is a statue . Again and again I am lifted up off the ground to rise before the statue. I find myself in wide open fields or wide grassland surrounded by many, many people. I am at once aware that above me the heavens are begining to change just as though heaven is coming down to meet Earth. I look around me ,few if any of all the people there appear to even notice what is happening. I want to warn them but before I can do so the skies dramatically change and this is at once apparent in the acti0ooons of those around me. Some scream and run to hide, they point at the sky, they are dumbstruck. How to describe what I see in the skies? A terrible feeling of wonder and awe strikes me, it is as though my stomache had fallen beneath me as though I was on some gigantic roller coaster. One oft the things I saw was the stars dancing. Like a ballet in the sky. Another was very similiar to a music as though the angels were singing as they did at Bethlehem. Then from a distance I know that the gates of heaven are themselves opening and the King of Heaven is approaching accompanied by His Most Holy Mother the angels and the saints. Incredible, quite incredible.
Padraig. Is this a description of the warning do you think? Wow. Also sounds a little like Fatima where all but the holy screamed in fear. I am sure Padraigs dream is authentic.
Because it keeps repeating itself I think it is true too, Bobby. I always remember St Teresa of Avila saying true grace imprints itself on the soul. But I really do believe this phenomena will kill a lot of folks stone dead. It is pretty..well...overwhelming. For someone who just didn't believe...well....without belief how do you come to terms with getting hit over the head with something like this. Even for me who do believe it is overwhelming.
Its always interesting to be in a situation where these things are happening and those around us are running and crying and hiding and we are standing in awe. I believe that is where we should be. Awe-struck and grateful and ready...
At Garabandal the cup was filling, then filling up, and then overflowing .... So it is clear that God's time is different to our perception. A generation is like a blink to God. But when the events begin we will all regret not having used this time of grace even better.
You must not lose your faith. Just look at what is happening around us: sin is getting worse and worse. Look what happened at Halloween: children dressed as disfigured persons, which is so well done (as in cinema) that it is horrible to look at. Early in the evenings you can see in ordinary police films at tv (right after television news - I only have 5 channels) horrible sex scenes, covered with blood (typical demoniac). You could not see these things before. This also Picadillo is a sign that we are really close to God's intervention. This all can not continue because God is losing to much souls... There are also human beings "created" who look like animals... I stop, because I prefer talking about holy issues. Keep always close to Mary and always pray the Rosary to keep your faith intact. "But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved" (Matthew 24:13)
2 Peter 3:8–9: ‘But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.’
One must pray daily not to loose faith and hope. I think this is one reason that Our Lady of Medjugorje requests fasting on Wednesday's and Friday's. We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg now. What is to come will require extraordinary graces, deep faith, keen understanding of our doctrines, true devotion to Mary and a willingness to pick up our cross and follow our savior. I would say, with great certainty that no one with a true devotion to Our Blessed Mother will ever be damned. This is a source of the greatest consolation and will be even more so as we lie on our own death bed.
wow what a dream padraig. Got goose-pimples just reading it. I'm sure it is true. Whenever I meditate on the mystery of the birth of our lord, I always think I wish I had been a shepherd in those times and seen and heard the angels in the sky announcing the birth. I am a little jealous of those shepherds. Well, this generation may see a similar miracle in the sky...although I'm not sure I'm ready to see and witness such an event!
