I don’t know if you’ve seen it, but quite a few reports have surfaced about a conflict between the Vatican and the Trump administration. Of course, nothing has been confirmed, and I highly doubt we’ll get a direct statement from either the U.S. authorities or the Vatican, which is always diplomatically measured in its statements. I don’t want to spread clickbait headlines, but this has been circulating widely online, and the Pope’s statements are quite direct toward the U.S., although he is far less critical than Pope Francis, who was much sharper and more explicit on this issue.

I’m sharing this from one site. As I said, this is a conflict between the Catholic Church and Catholics with other religious sects—the fullness of truth and justice founded in Christ does not move toward political power, position, or money, but exclusively toward justice and what is morally right, whether people like it or not. Here is the text....

Senior officials at the Pentagon reportedly held a closed-door meeting with a Vatican diplomat in January as tensions rose with Pope Leo XIV. The reports claim the meeting took place after the pope delivered a speech that criticized global power politics and the use of force in international relations.

According to reports by The Free Press and The Letters from Leo, Elbridge Colby, the US Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, met with Cardinal Christophe Pierre. The meeting came shortly after the pope’s “State of the World” address, where he spoke against what he described as diplomacy driven by force, imperial occupation, and the pursuit of dominance.
Reports claim that during the meeting, US officials delivered a strong message. They allegedly told the cardinal that the United States has the military strength to act freely across the world and that the Catholic Church should support its position.

They told him, “America has the military power to do whatever it wants in the world. The Catholic Church had better take its side.”

The reports also suggest that the incident affected plans for a future visit by the pope to the United States. The visit had been linked to the country’s 250th anniversary celebrations. Following the reported exchange, those plans appear to have collapsed.

Tensions increased further after the pope took a stronger stance on the ongoing Iran conflict. He first called for restraint and dialogue but later spoke against threats of violence.

These claims have not been independently confirmed, and neither the Vatican nor the US government has issued a public response.

The reported meeting followed the pope’s speech, where he criticized the direction of global politics. His comments came at a time of growing international strain, especially around conflicts in the Middle East.

  2. It leaves the Zionists and the Jews backed into a corner, they have no choice but to show their fangs now on the Catholics. Lots of Catholics have been preventing them from fulfilling their objectives. Expect an incoming persecution...

Napoleon Bonaparte once taunted a Catholic cardinal by threatening: “Your Eminence, are you not aware that I have the power to destroy the Catholic Church?” To which the cardinal quipped: “Your Majesty, we Catholic clergy have done our best to destroy the Church for the last eighteen hundred years. We have not succeeded, and neither will you."

Pentagon To Host Good Friday Service Just For Protestants, Not Catholics

The Pentagon has invited more than 3,500 employees to attend a Good Friday service at its in-house chapel. Except it’s only for Protestants, not Catholics.

“Just a friendly reminder: There will be a Protestant Service (No Catholic Mass) for Good Friday today at the Pentagon Chapel,” reads a Friday email sent by Air Force leadership, a copy of which was shared by an employee.

“I guess so the Catholics know their kind ain’t welcome,” said this employee, who requested anonymity to speak about internal communications. “It’s so ridiculous.”

A Pentagon spokesperson confirmed it is not hosting another, separate religious service for Catholic employees.

“The Protestant service is the only service scheduled in the Pentagon chapel today,” they said in a statement.

The Pentagon Memorial Chapel is a 24-hour interfaith space that employees can use for prayer and reflection, and that is used for religious services.

Late Friday, a Defense Department official emailed with more of an explanation for the “No Catholic Mass” email: the chaplain office’s priest was away.

“There was no Good Friday Catholic Mass scheduled today as the Pentagon Chaplain Office’s priest is not in town,” said the official.

The official noted that Catholic churches don’t hold Mass on Good Friday, but do hold a “Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion” service in the late afternoon or evenings. They did not respond when asked if the liturgical service had been scheduled for Friday and then canceled because the priest was away, versus no service being planned.

The confusion over Good Friday services comes as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, a far-right evangelical Christian, has tried to infuse his religious views into Pentagon activities.

I don't think there can be any doubt that a huge wave of the most terrible Protestant bigotry and hate for Catholics, long hidden, is coming right out into the open.

I think you are on to something here.

About 10 years ago I was down in Texas for business and had a conversation with a fellow regarding politics. I had mentioned at the time my concerns about (when he ran the first time) Trump and that the party was going in the wrong direction. He told me they would reel him in.

Religion came up and I mentioned I was Catholic and that man tore into me for about 10 minutes. I received some good old protestant hospitality that day.

I think because Trump is not running in the next election they don't need the Catholic vote so they can be right in your face, not pretend. It is the same in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Anti Catholicism is always simmering away there somewhere.
