You have a few days to send your request by Wednesday, so it arrives on time.(Keep in mind your time zone difference). Requests sent using the form from this link (in English or Spanish ) are received in the email address of the Parish. (Use an online translator if need be). They are printed and delivered every Thursday the Pastor, to be deposited in a “ Petitions box” at the foot of the altar , through the intercession of Our Lady of Carmel, before the Blessed Sacrament exposed in the Chapel of San Sebastian de Garabandal. NEW ROAD LEADING UP TO THE FAMOUS PINES. February 2026 . There is an ongoing project to build a two lane road , to drive up to the famous pine trees area (where the Miracle will take place) in Garabandal. Apparently, the government must feel the need now to build for the future, as they are making the only road to the Pines wider so there can be 2 lanes of car traffic, for those that can not walk. More details to follow when I get them.-Glenn
Conchita’s sufferings Starting at the tender age of 11, already lost her Father to lung disease, living in a remote town with no electricity, tv, movies, stores, toy stores,etc. Then, because of her testimony of having visions of the Blessed Mother, is saddled with being accused of being a liar, fraud, mentally ill, threaten to be put in jail, her Mother was threatened to be put in an insane asylum, her whole life being questioned as being truthful, forced to hold a secret from the world. Conchita’s penances were not limited to simple, exterior acts. She suffered from acute perception, the trials of the "dark night" of the soul, that St. John of the Cross speaks of. " I remember my village caused me to suffer. I felt as if I was imprisoned. I acted by the commands of others who constantly advised me " Go to mass, Pray the rosary, Do this, Give up that ". At times I thought I would be happy in a hermitage away from everyone, and to work there alone for God and see what I was capable of doing without their forever telling me." Conchita 11-25-66 How many people know about Garabandal, after she gave 20 + years of interviews? The demands put on her as a child and teenager, worst of all from the Church. How many people believe her ? She has survived a cancer scare, lost her Husband to cancer. Has moved several times, so she can have some privacy. You have no idea the burden of having to not divulge her true identity to her own children for many years, and also keep a date, a secret from your family, friends, and the world, and that’s just for starters.
I feel a special sympathy for Conchita, she’s really had to suffer, in a way, for the salvation of the world via the coming Miracle. Let us increase our prayers for her.
The Priests that questioned the girls put them through such pain. I can't imagine as children to be treated so terrible by the Church.
JOEY’S GREATEST BLESSING I was accompanying Joey Lomangino ( the blind man who brought Garabandal to the world through his apostolate) on a flight down to Alabama to appear again on EWTN’s (Eternal Word Television Network) “Mother Angelica LIVE” show in 1996. While on the flight down, we always had wonderful personal conversations. This one day, we were discussing how we originally met, and what a great blessing it was for me, and I asked him “ What was your greatest blessing ? “ Now I expected one of several answers, ( his family, his Apostolate work, Confession with Padre Pio, Padre Pio restoring his sense of smell, meeting and being friends with Conchita, etc. ) His answer shocked me ! He said while he had many blessings , “ Being blind “. I said “ really, how’s that ? “ He went on ” because if I never had been blind, I never would have been saved”. It was his blindness that led to his spiritual sight and salvation . Padre Pio told Joey “I can’t give him sight for his eyes, but I can give him sight for his soul.” Can any of us ( who are sighted now ,as he once was sighted as a boy ) endure that suffering of having lost our eyesight, consider it a "blessing " ? Conchita on Suffering Back in September of 2012 I had lunch with Conchita and we discussed many things but mostly about suffering in the world. Suffering, who wants it ? You know when you're in the presence of a true holy person when they embrace suffering, almost joyfully. Padre Pio said "if you knew the value of suffering, you'd never give it up " I listened on how she described the purpose of suffering, and "taking up your cross" has so much spiritual value, we truly don't comprehend it sometimes. We talked about there is so much cancer in the world, and the suffering it brings, and again there was a simple profound thought, is it possible the illness is allowed by God, and maybe this person will actually benefit from the illness by bringing them closer to God then they would have ever been. Let’s face it, when you are really sick, what is the first thing you think about, praying to get well ! I can tell you from experience, having to have had two surgeries in December of 2023 to remove a cancerous tumor from my kidney and go back for a second operation to repair damaged veins still bleeding, I never had prayed for God and Jesus to be closer to me and heal me than at that time. It’s humbling. Her little story was simple, inspiring, and brilliant. She said (again I’m paraphrasing the long story), There was a sheep herder, who each day would tend to his flock, and each day one of his sheep would run toward the edge of a mountain cliff, and almost fall over. Each day he would pull him back, but the sheep "wanted to run toward the edge of the cliff". Finally, the Sheepherder decided to break a leg on the sheep, well knowing this was painful, and would prevent the sheep from walking. Each day though, he would pick up the sheep and carry it on his shoulders as he went out into the field. This allowed the sheep to still be outside, but more importantly the two of them bonded and became closer because the sheep were dependant on the herder. The herder knew that this the right thing to do, even though I’m sure it was not what the sheep wanted, but in the end, he healed, walked again, and the two were closer than ever. I never looked at suffering again the same way. I offer it up daily and ask God to draw me closer to him, for he knows best.
SAINT (POPE) PAUL VI : QUOTES ON GARABANDAL After meeting Conchita in Jan.1966 he said: “ Conchita, I bless you and with me the whole church will bless you “. Pope Paul VI had shown a very special interest in the apparitions. At an audience given to Fr. Xavier Escalda, S.J., the latter mentioned there were many opponents of the apparitions even amongst his own people. His Holiness promptly rejoined: "It doesn't matter; tell these gentlemen that it is the Pope who has said that it is most important and most urgent to make these messages known to the world." Father Escalada explained his work in spreading the message of Garabandal in Mexico and the Pope Paul VI encouraged him to continue saying: "These messages must be made known." Father Escalada asked the Pope for his permission to continue promoting Garabandal and the Pope said “YES”. Pope Paul VI said : "It is the most beautiful story of humanity since the days of Christ. It is like a second life of the Virgin on earth. And we can never be grateful enough for it." "Jacinta, I am with you, but we have to pray much and have much patience . . : it. is necessary to pray that the Church will become aware of the importance of Garabandal." In June 1969, Pope Paul sent his personal blessing to Difurora Mariana of Mexico, along with the gift of a crucifix for every member of the Garabandal Centre there, encouraging them to continue promoting the messages of Garabandal.
WARNING & MIRACLE IN THE “SAME, EVEN,YEAR”. Now Mari Loli only knew the Year of the Warning, and originally she did say it would be "within a year " of the Miracle, BUT later in 1975 she did say more specifically "in the same year " (as the Miracle). Now she also said (under some duress from a priest questioning her) the Warning would be in an "even year". So, if you piece all this together, can assume the Warning and Miracle are in the same , even numbered year, and if we know the Miracle is in April, the Warning should happen between January 1 and March 31 ( since Conchita will give 8 days notice of the Miracle ). This information was also confirmed to me by Author of the book : “Suddenly & Unexpectedly, The end of our Times”, Thomas Fahy, who knew several Priests who were friends with Mari Loli,confirmed this, and Tom sent it to me in an email on March 20, 2015.
March 2013 Glenn’s conversation with Conchita With all of the arguing over which of the different visionary’s is right, predicting dates, the direction of the church, I've learned one thing, it’s all distracting, and detracting from our spiritual goals. The best advice I ever got was from Conchita ( when I asked her about the direction of all these things) ,she talked about what is most important, maintaining your spiritual life, (Confession, penance ,mass, communion, the rosary, the Morning Offering, etc.) and she said : " I surround myself with good people, pray and don't worry " . ( Sounds like she took the advice of her friend Padre Pio , “ Pray hope and don’t worry”). More than 30 years ago when I started promoting the apparitions, while having a conversation with Conchita, she asked me " Do you do the rosary every day? " I said " well, ...not every day, I'm busy, I have several jobs". She said " Don't promote the messages, unless you are going to live the messages". Wow, that kind of knocked me off my feet, but she's right ! It is amazing that when you make the time to do those things, it seems like there is plenty of time to do them. God is funny that way.
MARCH 1963: CONCHITA'S FIRST LOCUTIONS Conchita had been suffering a great deal ever since the month of January from not seeing the Blessed Virgin. Because she already knew the date of the Great Miracle, she felt how much one must be able to wait. . . actively. Assailed by the doubts of her entourage, she, too, was beginning to waver . . . when she heard Mary's voice interiorly for the first time telling her: "Have no doubts that my Son will perform the Miracle." This first of the two locutions that Conchita was to be granted as early as March 1963, gave her "a joy and peace still greater than when saw the Blessed Virgin . . . for then I have Our Lady inside me!," she explained. Fascinated by "this voice of intimate happiness without words," Conchita was henceforth "as certain," as she said, "that the Miracle would come, as 2 and 2 make 4!" Conchita wrote in her Diary that she preferred locutions rather than apparitions, but still more to receive the Eucharist. She explained that her locutions occurred when she was praying "either in my room, or at the Pines, or again at church." From 'Garabandal' Book, by J. Serre, page 171

TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: MARCH 3, 1962 A MYSTERIOUS (FIRST) LETTER FROM THE FAMOUS ITALIAN STIGMATIZED CAPUCHIN, BLESSED PADRE PIO OF PIETRELCINA, TO THE VISIONARIES OF GARABANDAL On this "first Saturday" of March, Conchita received a letter addressed to the four visionaries in the village. It came from Padre Pio, as the Vision would confirm to Conchita, during an ecstasy she had on the same day, telling them, among other things: "Dear children, this morning at nine, the Blessed Virgin asked me to tell you: 'O blessed little girls of San Sebastian de Garabandal! I promise that I will be with you until the end of times, and that you will be with Me until the end of the world. Then you will be united with Me in the glory of Paradise' ". "I am sending you a copy of the rosary of Fatima that the Blessed Virgin asked me to send to you. This rosary was dictated by the Blessed Virgin and must be made known for the salvation of sinners and for the preservation of humanity from the worst chastisements God is threatening to send us. "I am giving you only one advice: Pray and make others pray, for the world is on the edge of ruin. "People do not believe you: they do not believe in your conversations with the Blessed Virgin . . . "People will believe when it will be very, very late." As soon as she received this letter, Conchita sent Padre Pio a personal letter, with "a secret message from the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel and addressed to him." PADRE PIO’S LETTER CONFIRMED BY THE BLESSED MOTHER ! I have found the proof in the book " SHE CAME IN HASTE TO THE MOUNTAIN " I was told from friends overseas that the letter was not signed so that Padre Pio would not be in opposition to the church, so how come so many people were sure it was from him ? These pages tell how Conchita asked the Blessed Mother herself in one of her visits, and she confirmed it was from Padre Pio ! Q. Conchita, do you remember anything about the letter that you are said to have received from Padre Pio? A. Concerning what you now ask me, I do remember that I received in the mail a letter addressed to me and the other three girls: Jacinta, Mari Loli and Mari Cruz. I was surprised by what it said; and as it was unsigned, I kept it in my pocket until the time of the apparition. When the Blessed Mother appeared, I showed her the letter . . . and I asked her whom it was from. The Blessed Mother answered that it came from Padre Pio.” I have found proof in the book "SHE CAME IN HASTE TO THE MOUNTAIN" Book 2 , page 146
Fatima rosary sheet sent by Padre Pio, to the girls. The second page is also typed, but in Spanish . It is the rosary of the Virgin of Fatima to which the letter in Italian makes a mention, and says the following: ROSARY OF THE VIRGEN OF FATIMA ———————- Pray and make others pray this rosary that has been dictated by the Virgin Mary in a personal message. ———————— It is prayed like the common rosary of the Virgin, only that the mysteries are replaced by the following: ———————— 1) In this first mystery we see how the Holy Virgin chose Fatima as her favorite city to spread her messages. 2) In this second mystery it is contemplated how the Holy Virgin chose the Cova de Iria for her visions. 3) In this third mystery we see how the Holy Virgin chose the three little shepherds for their celestial conversations and to entrust the great secret to them. 4) In this fourth mystery we see how the secret of Fatima is the greatest secret of all that she has said. 5) In this fifth mystery we can see how the visions of the Blessed Virgin continue to be present in all parts of the world. ——————– The Virgin has promised special graces to all who pray this rosary. *Sorry, the photo file is too large to post here. I hope and pray that the Pope will be invited to Moscow this month, March 2026. Our world is the worst as I have never seen it this bad. I love this photo as it tells me that she loved animals.
WHY IS GARABANDAL SACRED GROUND ? We all know about the special area of Garabandal called "The Pines'. The original 9 Pine trees where the Blessed Mother appeared, and foretold of the great Miracle that will take place there. Mary said "It will be the greatest miracle that my Son, Jesus, will have ever performed for mankind.” The Virgin Mary referred to “the Pines“ : "God loves this place very much. This place is sacred." GARABANDAL JOURNAL Nov-Dec. 2002 I have been told that Garabandal has a history of doing a nightly Rosary for hundreds of years ! It’s no wonder why “God loves this place very much, this place is sacred !” Is there another apparition site where God has said this ? (Not that I know of ).
