Our lady appears in number of coloured vestments. Very like the liturgical ones. Black for Sorrow. Gold for Great Feasts. Brown for Carmel and so on. But mainly she seems to come in Blue and white with blue being the predominate. Which is why the Church prefers blue in her vestments for Mary.

Your view on this? Of course, not all the responsibility lies with the Pope, and it should be said that from the very beginning there have been various heresies in the Church—this is nothing new. In general, I don’t like those clickbait headlines like “the Pope approves,” because even in smaller companies the president doesn’t personally review every single biography—people in much lower positions do that. However, it is obvious that those positions are already poisoned, and then a path is slowly built toward the top until it is eventually taken over. There are many people around the Pope, numerous high-ranking Church officials who have strayed from the path, and some of whom were never really on it in the first place. However, what is interesting is this so-called consensus of synodality that is constantly being pushed under the guise of “we don’t want ideology,” while in reality wanting a Church shaped according to our own standards.
There is an old saying that you know people by their friends. I don't really comment or think too much about Pope Leo and his pals nowadays because I have already written them all off long since. My Spiritual Director, Father Bernard, gave me some advice many, many years ago which I found very helpful. This was long, long before the chaos we have in the Church and the World we have now. He advised me to switch of all the news and commentary for a few months and just to pray and think about things. To get a God's eye view of all going on without the crazy news and rants. He promised me when I got back again I would see things differently. This was one of the great blessings of camping down the years in the middle of nowhere. You get time to think and pray. You know this may sound very selfish. But people make their own choices for good and evil just as we make our own. We are not going to be judged for what other people do we are only going to be judged for what we ourselves do. Devotion to the Mother of God and saying the rosary every day has been such a blessing. I believe with all my heart that no one who trusts in Mary will ever be lost. Also no one who follows Mary will ever be blinded or led astray. Let us hold very tightly to her hand in this terrible times like good little children.
I sometimes forget and get very upset by all the anger and vitriol one sees online and especially around our government behavior. When I say the rosary it all goes away. It's so important for peace in family to pray the rosary. As Fr Peyton used to say The family that prays together stays together. Its our way through the storm.
If we could actually do anything to change things I would be all in for it. But given the ways things are there is not much. All we can do really is pray. I admire those who go on pro life protests though.
Yes true but I think it's still important to raise the pro life issue. I see the abortion figures for Ireland for 2025 topped 10000. I bring the subject up when possible and tell people the figures to shock them out of complacency. It's never reported on by the media. The sheep who voted for this were told it would be safe and rare.
I think Ireland has to touch total bottom before it rises again. There will be consequences for the mass murder of the innocents.
What utterly chills me is how common it has become. So "normalized" that the general population gives it no thought. But those numbers are staggering. World wide. Not just in the West. The March for Life forces it on people's attention. It's a good thing to do but only God can change hearts.
