I love you Luke, no hard feelings. I wish I could persuade you.

My first words in the OP were "upsetting", I believe in the "illumination of conscience." I said "confusing" next because Father Melvin's messages were ones I have read for a long time and gave sound basic teachings of our faith, traditional.

MOG is a comfort, a refuge because many, many here believe in the yet to be approved messages from Heaven. The yet to be approved are fine to read and share and others have said it better, we live in a time that the Church can't say yes or no yet. The revelations to certain seers have not ended. And the major divine prophecies have not taken place yet.

The reason some Catholics who follow the APPROVED ONLY may see the end time plan differently even though the current messages and approved of the past are saying the SAME. They are not looking at God's explaining more explicitly through many messengers to the world now what is going to happen. God is helping us and no one can argue, events are closer. God hasn't been silent since Akita in the 70s,

The Great Warning of Garabandal is going to happen, it is God's plan to save souls and to bring everyone to the faith. For years, many messengers speak of it. If you all have read this current message about the Great Warning and the new time, the 7th Day, hope you do not mind, I'll share it below.

Someone :), started a thread with a Protestant message confirming the Warning. I've been reading the Protestant messages too. Here is one link: http://ft111.com/eagles.htm Luke, God is getting our brothers and sisters ready to accept the faith. Luke Laffin is a Protestant messenger. Check their daily messages, they're confirming, Our Lord is speaking to them now about the Warning and so important, the most Holy Eucharist in a directing without saying Eucharist way. Everyone understands why.

I typed in the in parenthesis. The message to Pastor Enoc is a translation.

MARY’S MYSTICAL ROSE CALL TO THE CHILDREN OF GOD

BE READY AND PREPARED MY LITTLE ONES FOR THE COMING OF THE WARNING!

    October 22nd, 2013

Little children of my heart may God's peace be with you all.

The time of mercy is reaching its limit, the length of days is shorter each time; great sign that indicates that the return of my Son is coming. The Heavenly Jerusalem is ready and decked to come down to the New World; blessed those who will dwell in it, for they will know the glory of God.
Little children, rejoice for the days of glory are approaching, if you knew what God has in store, what if you but knew? You would be jumping of joy and as of now would wish that everything would came, in order to enjoy those days when joy in the Spirit and the spiritual presence of the Triune God will accompany you to the end of times.
How many wanted to see what you will see, what you will hear will listen and live what you will live in the paradise that God will give you as a reward for your faithfulness. The prophets of old and all the blessed souls, wanted to live the days that you faithful ones are going to live in the New and Heavenly Jerusalem.
Children, after the personal judgment (the Warning) all who are written in the book of life, you will be spiritually marked with the sign of the cross on your forehead and in your soul. So upon the return to this world, you are going to be able to distinguish who are the flock of My Son from those who are the flock of my adversary. Remember that after the Warning you will no longer be the same ones, while in eternity my Father will grant you gifts and talents so that you can endure the day of the Warning. Otherwise you would not be able to cope with the days of purification.
The time of the miracle time will be very short; all the people of God must fulfill a specific mission for heaven. All missions will be directed to the service of God and the rescue of warm souls and repentant sinners that will be stunned and disoriented after the small divine judgment.
After the Warning and miracle the great tribulation will be triggered on earth which will end in the Valley of Megiddo, where the forces of evil will be defeated and expelled from the face of the earth. Be ready and prepared my children for the arrival of the Warning. Run to settle your accounts in order with one of my favorites. Speak to your family members, relatives and friends about this great event that is coming for them to be prepared and the path through eternity be not their worst nightmare. Courage my children, think of the glory days that await you so that you can cope with hope and faith, the purification days’ that draw near!. Fear not, stand united to Our Two Hearts and everything will be like a dream for you. Allow nothing and no one to take you apart from the love of God. The dawn of a new dawn awaits you, the joy and peace of the New Creation waits you my faithful children. Praise be God and Blessed be His Holy Name from generation to generation.

    Your Mother, who loves you.
    Mary, Mystical Rose.
Make this message known children of my heart.

    Great points. I agree.

"The Warning" predicted at Garabandal may or may not be true because Garabandal is an unapproved apparition, and therefore may be false. And I say this as someone who wishes that "the Warning " is true because the world needs a supernatural intervention right about now, but also as someone who has of late ignoring all unapproved private revelation and focusing only on approved apparitions .

    Yeah mate, I have.
Do you have good knowledge/understanding with the words of scripture?
If you do, I would be interested in what you think about the messages. Do you find any contradictions with the word of God?

    Oh Dear Jackie,
Thankyou for posting to me. Sorry you didn't take in what I said in post 19?
You are listening to too many prophecies. Most tell you a lot of truths, but they all tell you lies.
You want to persuade me. Why?
I am at peace with the word of God. Why would you want to complicate His words?
You tell me "the great warning of Garabandal WILL happen".
I say "Is going to be after "3 more Popes?"

There are so many flaws in the prophecy of Garabandal. I actually thought this one was dead and buried along with all the others that died that were meant to witness the 'miracle'. But then when I see this forum and there are still some of you who ignore the lies and follow the fantasy.
What does the Bishop of today and past Bishops say about Garabandal?
Should I read what a Protestant says about a so called warning? Or should I listen to my Church?
You feel good, don't you? You feel good reading about all these prophecies. Yes, false feeling! But they leave you feeling anxious and worried too, don't they?
Maybe I can suggest you speak to your parish priest about this matter. Make a time to sit and talk.
    God Bless you.

  5. THOSE ARE FIGHTING WORDS...Me thinks Glenn needs to straighten this gentleman out with a few facts about Garabandal--or maybe he needs to go over to Glenn's thread and read a few facts on the matter...(y)

No, they are not 'fighting words'.

Who has put on the gloves here?

What contradictions do you find? The series of locutions at Akita were defined as 'worthy of credence' by the Church which has not apparently discovered any inconsistencies with Scripture. Do you know better?

I have serious reservations about Garabandal too but, if you thought that it was 'dead and buried' until you came across this site then presumably you have never heard of Google. It is far from 'dead and buried'.

I would NEVER suggest I know better than the church. To do that or to say differently to what the Church says is showing no loyalty. It is a sin to divide the church.
Steve, now mate. To say "presumably you have never heard of Google." Are you trying to belittle me or trying to sound more intelligent than me?
I have noticed the way 'some' (not all) people speak to each other when they have a different opinion. It is rude. In the short time I have been here, I see David has copped it. Am I now to receive the same treatment? For what reason?

Anyway, why would I have ever wanted to 'google' Garabandal?
It is not an approved apparition in fact the Bishop, in fact ALL the past and present Bishops have condemned it.
Steve, you will be pleased to know I found this information by just going to 'google' today. Do I really need to google more? I remember off hand that there are a number of people who were meant to witness an 'alleged' miracle, but they are dead. I don't need to go to google again to find out their names do I?

    Anyway, have a good day!

    Luke;

I have learned (the hard way) that what I'm most offended by is what I'm most guilty of. There is a contentious spirit here (i.e. asking Padraig if he's familiar with Scripture), and I have to wonder to what purpose. We are smack in the middle of huge spiritual warfare, and fighting with each other is the absolute worst use of our time.

Everyone has their limits, and even those who don't want to be disagreeable or rude can be drawn into it with enough provocation. Once I was in an argument with someone that escalated to the point that he was nose to nose with me saying, "Tell me what you really think of me. Come on. Just say it!" I'm sad to report that I finally told him I thought he was a miserable sack of sh*t. I'll never forget the sinister delight that flooded his face. He took the opportunity to say, "And you call yourself a Christian!!!!" It was then I realized that the whole argument was leading me to the place where he could make this pronouncement. I'm telling this story because there are times on this forum when I sense that same feeling of entrapment.

Since you're giving out advice to Jackie, I'm wondering if you're open to advice as well: Please prayerfully explore your motives.

Well Luke, I'll introduce myself. I am Glenn Hudson. I live on Long Island with Joey Lomangino and Conchita Gonzalez Keena. I have worked with Joey for over 20 years a volunteer promoter of the apparitions & messages of Garabandal. (That is Joey & Conchita in my avatar picture ). If you had bothered to read my " Garabandal Dedicated Resource Library ", you would have learned that NOT only did Pope Paul VI,and soon to be Saint Pope John Paul II publically stand behind Garabandal, so did SAINT Padre Pio, and "Blessed Mother Teresa ! The Vatican knows the date of the "Miracle" and that IS THE REASON GARABANDAL HAS NEVER BEEN CONDENMED. They are patiently waiting for Conchita to announce it 8 days in advance as predicted.

Pope John Paul II - on Garabandal
There is a book on Garabandal, written by Albrecht Weber in 1993, entitled Garabandal Der Zeigefmger Gottes (Garabandal: The Finger of God), of which a first edition copy was presented to Pope John Paul II. He later asked his secretary, Fr. (now Archbishop) Stanislaus Dziwisz, to write to the author. In the subsequent printing (2000) of the book, on page 19, a portion of the Pope's message is reprinted, as follows:"May God reward you for everything. Especially for the deep love with which you are making the events connected with Garabandal more widely known. May the Message of the Mother of God find an entrance into hearts before it is too late. As an expression of joy and gratitude, the Holy Father gives you his apostolic blessing."Weber writes, "From the attached greeting in the Pope's own handwriting, with his signature, it is clear how deep an interest he has in the events of Garabandal, and how anxious he is that they should be made known in a credible way."

NO BISHOP HAS EVER CONDEMNED IT EITHER. This is a common mistake made when people listen to internet rumor instead of reading. Here is what has been said:
The Church has a very strict and precise terminology for judging alleged apparitions (very few apparitions are officially approved). According to the norms of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, alleged apparitions are classified in one of three categories:
Constat de supernaturalitate - It is certain that the events are of supernatural origin.
Constat de non supernaturalitate - It is certain that the events are not of supernatural origin.
Non-constat de supernaturalitate - It is not certain that the events are of supernatural origin.
So where does Garabandal stand? In a clarificatory letter (English translation published in the EWTN website) dated June 8, 1993 written by Jose Vilaplana, Bishop of Santander (the local Diocese to which Garabandal belongs), the Bishop wrote the following:
All the bishops of the diocese from 1961 through 1970 asserted that the supernatural character of the said apparitions, that took place around that time, could not be confirmed. [no constaba].
Based on the above, Garabandal is classified in the 3rd category – it is not certain that the events are of supernatural origin.
The Bishop did not say “it is certain that the events of Garabandal are not of supernatural origin”, which constitutes a condemnation of the apparition. Rather, based on the above note from the Bishop, the Church is not certain of the supernatural nature of the events – which means that the Church is leaving the door open for a possible positive declaration in the future, pending further investigation.

In a letter written by Bishop Eugenio Beitia Aldazabal dated July 8, 1965, he clearly wrote that “we have found no grounds for ecclesiastical condemnation.” Bishop Jose Cirada Lachiondo, in a declaration published June 1970, wrote that the messages of Garabandal “do not contain anything contrary to traditional Church teaching on Faith and Morals”.

The bishop who called the second commission, Bishop del Val, upon retiring from office stated in an interview that the message of Garabandal was “important” and “theologically correct.”

BISHOP DAL VAL : REVERSES HIS PERSONAL OPINION ON GARABANDAL APPARITIONSNow here's why the people pushed hard for a new ruling, the conversion of Bishop Dal Val.In 1982 ,the Bishop was very ill, and during his stay in the hospital, Mary Loli came to visit him. The details of what happened are very secretive (because he was at the time still Bishop, and Garabandal was still not approved, and he didn't want to reveal in writing what happened so he could not be reprimanded ). When Loli went to see him, he said that her visit with him was a great comfort. It brought back many beautiful memories about the times that he himself witnessed her ecstasies as well as the other three girls but it was only after she gave him a KISSED Crucifix by Our Blessed Mother that she had with her that he made a complete recovery. After having completed the operation on the Bishop in 1982, Dr. Tunon went to see him in his hospital room during the recovery period. "I was sitting on the edge of the bed when he said to me, 'I, Juan Antonio del Val Gallo, believe in Garabandal. But as bishop I can't say that.'"

ALSO Bishop Dal Val ADMITED, That all the Bishops were upset at Mary's message that " many Cardinals, Bishops and Priests ,were leading people down the road to perdition". THATS WHY THYE DIDNT WANT TO APPROVE IT ! (btw, Marys prediction did come true, didn't it ? ).

I could write pages on what the Popes ,Bishops, and Saints have said, but I would fill this thread for days. GO TO MY DEDICATED LIBRARY,AND READ. Ask yourself if (Saint ) Pope John Paul II & Saint Padre Pio FIRMLY believed and endorsed Garabandal, are any of us smarter or have better spiritual insight than either of them ? I for one do not doubt this apparition and its events will happen,as predicted.

I am not at all sure if I have, 'a good understanding/knowledge of scripture' at all Luke. In fact as time goes on in life I find I am more and more humbled by scripture in being convicted of my ignorance.

It reminds me of the Mourne Moutains near my home ( all 30 square miles of them) :)..every time I go up there I find new horizons, new peaks, new paths and so that's how the last time I went up there I managed to get lost for ten hours. ..happilly lost I might add and came down as sun tanned as though I had been in the Sahara.

I think perhaps the one who least understands scripture is the one who believes they have a . 'Good understanding' or 'knowledge' of it. Scripture is our Mother and she will be always be beyond us, beckoning us on as I suppose the Mourne Mountains will always be beyond me. :D

I will always be struggling like the littlest of chlldren to catch up, knowing I never shall

“For You have magnified Your word above all Your name” (Ps. 138:2).

But one thing I did learn recently about scripture in regard to this came from a priest in a homily a few mornings ago. He mentioned that in the Gospels Hell is mentioned far more often than heaven.

    Did you know this?

I have also found, in imitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary we catch far more bees with honey then with salt. That the best way to get our message across is with gentleness and kindness. That if we get peoples backs up they just start to close their ears.

That by winning an argument we most often loose the truth.

So be gentle be kind Luke, less salt and more honey and see what happens when all the bees come a flocking.

"In dangers, in doubts, in difficulties, think of Mary, call upon Mary. Let not her name depart from your lips, never suffer it to leave your heart. And that you may obtain the assistance of her prayer, neglect not to walk in her footsteps. With her for guide, you shall never go astray; while invoking her, you shall never lose heart; so long as she is in your mind, you are safe from deception; while she holds your hand, you cannot fall; under her protection you have nothing to fear; if she walks before you, you shall not grow weary; if she shows you favor, you shall reach the goal."

Hi Luke, thanks for your good wishes! Sorry I didn't have you marked down as a 'sensitive person' in view of some of your own perhaps overly frank remarks but obviously you are and so I apologise if feelings were hurt. Anyway as I said I am no defender of Garabandal (so am surprised that you made comments on that subject to me) I just pointed out (rather rudely it is true) that anyone who Googled could hardly conclude that it was 'dead and buried) but we can move on to the question I asked. I actually asked why you appeared to be disputing the Akita locutions on scriptural grounds when the Church had not found evidence to do so. What scripture are you thinking about?

Another messenger hears about the Warning (Pastor Enoc). How many is that in the last fifty years? Prophecies are confirming each other and wow, the Protestant too with greater clarity.

It is difficult to get some Catholics to believe the yet to be approved private revelation. I was converted by one,
I know they are true. Here we have the two groups, drives me crazy, makes me sad.

It's a real mystery why this should be so. I at least partly ascribe it to the poison of Liberalism and Modernism in the Church. It's as though we are dealing with people who are not only blind (to the Spirit of Prophesy) but seem determined to remain blind. ..and are totally oblivious to the Signs of the Times.

    Matthew 24
42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.[IMG]

There is obviously a problem in trying to discern 'yet to be approved' and Protestant prophecies and I am certainly sceptical about some of them. However with Fatima and Akita and the prophecies of those who have been canonised and beatified, I don't really see that we need to worry about whether they are true or not.

And I would add, even those apparitions whom saints have said are true, ie., St. Padre Pio's full endorsement that the Garabandal apparitions were true. He is perhaps the greatest mystic the Church has ever had. One would think that being able to read souls, he surely had the gift to know, when asked by Joey Lomangino, whether Mary was appearing in Garabandal and without hesitation replied, "yes, Joey she is"! He gave Conchita his bloodied glove (which Glenn displayed on his Garabandal thread) as a sign of his endorsement of Garbandal.

I think that I would stick to my stated position, that we have enough material from Church approved events. I won't repeat the many apparently valid objections to particular unapproved apparitions.

  19. Jackie

We wish to convince but there it is, the two sides. It is okay to read the yet to be approved and share them, take the good from them. Don't you see the connection, the order of events is the same in the many yet to be approved messages and the daily messages from Heaven confirm messages to the saints of old. And powerful, reading them every day strengthens your faith.

Fascinating and helpful too, read the Protestant messages, they're saying Catholic things and more to the point every day.

This is why there is traditional prophetic discussion with a different order of events for the end times! If only
the approved group would read and believe the daily messages from Heaven. It is not a puzzle to figure it out since Akita in the 70s. God wouldn't do that, it is not His way.

Long ago, I thought writers like Desmond Birch were off on the end times and the millennium so it will be a great surprise for me if he is right.

I think as events proceed it will be seem indeed like the End of the World. So much so that most Christians will look for Christ's Second Coming at any moment.

In a kind of way it is like a Second Coming. But only like it, I believe.
