I posted a video recently about St. Catherine Laboure and the Miraculous Medal, which I had originally seen back in the early 1990s. Another video I bought around that time, which had an impact on me, was about Catholicism in Japan over the centuries and the last section was on the more recent miraculous events at Akita. The video was called Hill of Redemption and I've been looking on YouTube to see if anyone has put it on there. Doesn't seem so but I found this extract which is the part on Akita. I never knew she was influenced to become Catholic by the book "the bells of nagasaki". I also had no idea the apparitions began during her novitiate. Thank God she had the support of her superiors and the sisters. I can't imagine her suffering.

Beautiful. I read somewhere that there has been a big upswing in converts to the Faith in Japan especially amongst the young. There is a lot of despair in Japan, people do not even want to date or get married or have children. It is as though they have all lost the will to live. So sad, life is a great gift, not a problem.
I was reading earlier that in China there'll be a 13% sales tax on contraceptives from today and child care services will be exempt, as they try to encourage people to have more children to counter the falling birth rate. Parental leave from work is to be reviewed also.
I am afraid it is too late for poor China, or Japan as well. The only countries that seem to be doing well in terms of population are Islamic ones.
I would say Sister Agnes was the most persecuted by the higher Church authorities I ever heard of. Even after death I think they handed her body over for medical research. This is a sign of how furious the devil was at these apparitions which Pope Benedict described as a continuation of Fatima.
Once a population moves toward childlessness it is next to impossible to pull them back. Europe has been struggling for years. All the incentives in the world won't work. Islam is a heresy of Christianity basically but it has held firmly to their doctrine of no abortion and no contraception. Nature has rewarded them in spite of all their troubling tenets.
In Africa too children are highly valued. The West has tried to bring contraception and abortion tied to financial aid but they are resisting. May God bless them.
Islam is also right in not allowing interest on loans. The Church herself was always opposed to this too until fairly recently. She never said Ursury was alright she just stopped talking about it.
It is truly bizarre. When Israel was in Egypt for 400 years they were extremely fertile. So prosperity doesn't equate to fertility. Islam always seemed like a chastisement to me. They also claim to descend from Ishamel which I think is somehow true on a spiritual level. God said Ishmael would be a wild ass of a man, and that is a perfect definition of Islam in my estimation. Nothing can tame it but Christ Himself. I think it is possible that the grasshoppers of revelation are Muslims. So the fact they are multiplying in foreign lands makes sense. Consuming everything in their path. It seems like since the french revolution we have been on a destructive path spiritually and now we reap. Essentially Muslims are blessed with reproduction at this time for the plans of God.
Since Catholic Trads have big families it is inevitable that they are the future of the Church. I have yet to see an empty Church when a Trad Mass is said.
At our NO parish there are quite a few families with lots of children. They all receive Jesus on the tongue not the hand. They are beautiful to watch. All neatly dressed. Very reverent. I am betting they are home schooled.
I do believe that God did bless Ishmael also but he did not receive the level of blessing as Isaac. So that could account for their fertility. I only learned recently tbat one of the central tenets of Islam is a world without borders - of course what that means is a world-wide Caliphate under Sharia law. But it could sort of explain how Muslims, despite being "religious:, somehow are in alignment with the globalists.
That huge division between Sunni and Shi'ite was all that saved Europe from Islam. They can only do what God permits. Europeans were crazy for letting them settle in its borders.
After posting one of his frescoes yesterday, I was reading something about the Japanese artist Luke Hasegawa. During his middle school years he visited a Trappist monastery in Hokkaido and was very impressed by the monks and their life there. It was here that he decided to embrace Catholicism. Then earlier today, while looking for an image I remembered seeing of the atom bombed Mary, I was reading a little about the story behind it. It seems that after the destruction of Urakami Cathedral, Nagasaki in 1945, Kaemon Noguchi, a discharged soldier, who was also a Catholic priest, was looking through the ruins to find a memento of the church of his youth, before returning to the monastery. After searching for some time and not finding anything, he knelt and prayed to Our Lady. Shortly afterwards he discovered the damaged head which was all that was left of the large wooden statue of the Blessed Mother, which had been placed near the altar. It turns out Fr. Noguchi was one of the Trappists from the community in Hokkaido and he brought the piece back with him, where it remained until 1975. Then, after some years being stored in the University, the image was transferred back to St. Mary's Cathedral and in 2005 installed in a specially created Chapel, inside the new building. Hibaku no Maria (Atom bombed Mary). Our Lady of Nagasaki, pray for us.
So glad they're putting the brakes on their former one-child policy and encouraging openness to more children! It actually a matter of saving the nation. Unfortunately, I have read that it is virtually impossible now for the Japanese to avoid implosion of their population because of very low birthrate and the lack of immigration. They could cease to exist by 2060.
As someone who follows demographics, I can tell you that this is a pure lie and a deliberate spread of defeatism that we have passed the path of return that is being created through the media. Remove contraception and abortions, the number of births will double and surpass deaths in every country. People have not forgotten to reproduce, it is just a problem for the new generation to survive when they are eliminated from the very beginning, even grass does not grow where it is immediately sprayed or mowed. Today, a person in their early 20s has the same testosterone as a person in their 70s 50 years ago. They poison us through food, air and water. We know what reduces fertility. In this order. 1. Ban abortions/contraception 2. Evil LGBT ideology and pornography 3. Toxic feminist ideology that creates a war on the traditional family and regulate social networks among young people so that they do not spread such content... Within a few months, we would already have more births than deaths in every country. The NWO cannot succeed without reducing the population by 90%, too many people to control.
