The two worm-ridden antipopes are Bergoglio (the Beast from the Sea) and his henchman Prevost (the Beast from the Earth). John calls one simply "the Beast" and the other, he calls "the False Prophet." In Apocalypse 13, it is the second Beast that causes men to adore the first Beast. The Church Fathers Call one of these men "the Antichrist" and the other one "the False Prophet." The Holy Pope is Benedict XVI, who you will be very surprised to see in the very near future. This Angelic Shepherd is mentioned numerous times in the Apocalypse, but not by that name. He will be the one who says the following (Apoc. 18): 1 And after these things, I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power: and the earth was enlightened with his glory. 2 And he cried out with a strong voice, saying: Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen; and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every unclean spirit, and the hold of every unclean and hateful bird: 3 Because all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication; and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her; and the merchants of the earth have been made rich by the power of her delicacies. 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying: Go out from her, my people; that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and the Lord hath remembered her iniquities.
If Pope Benedict was alive now, since he was born in 1927 he would be 98 years old now. The prophecy suggests the Angelic Pope will perform a very vigorous house cleaning. It does not seem likely that a 98 year old man would do such a thing?
I see a lot of people are talking about 2030 as the big date before. But no one really knows. We have heard so many dates like this before I can place no confidence in any of it. But the big thing is to always be ready,as Jesus said, to be ready for the bridegroom to appear at the wedding feast. Always to keep our lamps lit. None of us know when we fall asleep at night if we will awake the next morning. Marana tha. Come Lord Jesus.
Yes, Padraig 98 years old. Just like Heli in 1 Samuel 4. That chapter is an end times allegory. Heli is Benedict XVI. The two evil sons are the beasts (Bergoglio and Prevost). The Ark of the Lord is, of course, the Blessed Virgin. Israel is the faithful Catholic Church. The Philistines are the worldly Catholics and the pagans. Notice, the part about the woman in labor. That is the beginning of the Great Tribulation, as you can see in Apocalypse 12. 1 And it came to pass in those days, that the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight: and Israel went out to war against the Philistines, and camped by the Stone of help. And the Philistines came to Aphec, 2 And put their army in array against Israel. And when they had joined battle, Israel turned their backs to the Philistines, and there was slain in that fight here and there in the fields about four thousand men. 3 And the people returned to the camp: and the ancients of Israel said: Why hath the Lord defeated us today before the Philistines? Let us fetch unto us the ark of the covenant of the Lord from Silo, and let it come in the midst of us, that it may save us from the hand of our enemies. 4 So the people sent to Silo, and they brought from thence the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts sitting upon the cherubims: and the two sons of Heli, Ophni and Phinees, were with the ark of the covenant of God. 5 And when the ark of the covenant of the Lord was come into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, and the earth rang again. 6 And the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, and they said: What is this noise of a great shout in the camp of the Hebrews? And they understood that the ark of the Lord was come into the camp. 7 And the Philistines were afraid, saying: God is come into the camp. And sighing, they said: 8 Woe to us: for there was no such great joy yesterday and the day before: Woe to us. Who shall deliver us from the hand of these high gods? these are the gods that struck Egypt with all the plagues in the desert. 9 Take courage and behave like men, ye Philistines: lest you come to be servants to the Hebrews, as they have served you: take courage and fight. 10 So the Philistines fought, and Israel was overthrown, and every man fled to his own dwelling: and there was an exceeding great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen. 11 And the ark of God was taken: and the two sons of Heli, Ophni and Phinees, were slain. 12 And there ran a man of Benjamin out of the army, and came to Silo the same day, with his clothes rent, and his head strewed with dust. 13 And when he was come, Heli sat upon a stool over against the way watching. For his heart was fearful for the ark of God. And when the man was come into the city, he told it: and all the city cried out. 14 And Heli heard the noise of the cry, and he said: What meaneth the noise of this uproar? But he made haste, and came, and told Heli. 15 Now Heli was ninety and eight years old, and his eyes were dim, and he could not see. 16 And he said to Heli: I am he that came from the battle, and have fled out of the field this day. And he said to him: What is there done, my son? 17 And he that brought the news answered, and said: Israel has fled before the Philistines, and there has been a great slaughter of the people: moreover thy two sons, Ophni and Phinees, are dead: and the ark of God is taken. 18 And when he had named the ark of God, he fell from his stool backwards by the door, and broke his neck, and died. For he was an old man, and far advanced in years: and he judged Israel forty years. 19 And his daughter in law the wife of Phinees, was big with child, and near her time: and hearing the news that the ark of God was taken, and her father in law, and her husband, were dead, she bowed herself and fell in labour: for her pains came upon her on a sudden. 20 And when she was upon the point of death, they that stood about her said to her: Fear not, for thou hast borne a son. She answered them not, nor gave heed to them. 21 And she called the child Ichabod, saying: The glory is gone from Israel, because the ark of God was taken, and for her father in law, and her husband: 22 And she said: The glory is departed from Israel, because the ark of God was taken.
I am curious , Patrick, are these your own ideas or did you draw these ideas from another source? I have never read things like this before.
All I can say is that these allegories are found in Sacred Scripture. I cannot take any special credit for things that anyone can find in their Bible. The method I follow is St. Paul's method of allegorical interpretation. Here is a short summary of that method: https://www.patheos.com/blogs/keith...terally-takes-the-old-testament-figuratively/
But if ten different people were to view the same passage of scripture this was could they not come up with ten different conclusions?
Your argument is not with me, it is with St. Paul and others like him who provided divinely-approved interpretations of other Scripture passages. Here is what Jesus says in Matthew 13: 10 And his disciples came and said to him: Why speakest thou to them in parables? 11 Who answered and said to them: Because to you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven: but to them it is not given. 12 For he that hath, to him shall be given, and he shall abound: but he that hath not, from him shall be taken away that also which he hath. 13 Therefore do I speak to them in parables: because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And the prophecy of Isaias is fulfilled in them, who saith: By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand: and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive. 15 For the heart of this people is grown gross, and with their ears they have been dull of hearing, and their eyes they have shut: lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. 16 But blessed are your eyes, because they see, and your ears, because they hear. 17 For, amen, I say to you, many prophets and just men have desired to see the things that you see, and have not seen them, and to hear the things that you hear and have not heard them. God's ways are not our ways, Padraig. It is fine if you don't think my interpretation is correct. But it is to deny Sacred Scripture, and the words of Jesus Christ himself by saying that the allegorical/figurative hermeneutical method is not the proper one. Why don't you address the point that Scripture made? That a 98 year old religious leader is referenced in the Bible as playing a very important role in events? Your original claim was that that seemed unlikely. God has shown it is very likely. And if you read 1 Samuel 4 allegorically, you will understand that it pre-figuring the end times Holy Pope saga.
And the opposite is said of Moses (who is a figure of the Popes). The Pope alone God speaks to "plainly and not by riddles and figures." So to the rest of us, God speaks in "riddles and figures." See Numbers 12: 2 And they said: Hath the Lord spoken by Moses only? hath he not also spoken to us in like manner? And when the Lord heard this, 3 (For Moses was a man exceeding meek above all men that dwelt upon earth) 4 Immediately he spoke to him, and to Aaron and Mary: Come out you three only to the tabernacle of the covenant. And when they were come out, 5 The Lord came down in a pillar of the cloud, and stood in the entry of the tabernacle calling to Aaron and Mary. And when they were come, 6 He said to them: Hear my words: if there be among you a prophet of the Lord, I will appear to him in a vision, or I will speak to him in a dream. 7 But it is not so with my servant Moses who is most faithful in all my house: 8 For I speak to him mouth to mouth: and plainly, and not by riddles and figures doth he see the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak ill of my servant Moses
But say I believed in life on other planets or that Donald Trump was the anti Christ. Could I not just as easily go to Scripture and find these kind of proofs to support me, or for anything else if it came to that?
So if Pope Benedict does not reappear by 16 April 2026 (when he would have turned 99) you will have wasted all your time on these posts. And you will have been wrong.
Remember when the Croatian priest Fr Zlatko Sudac was thought by some to be the future Angelic Pope? We don’t hear much about him today though he’s still around. There is nothing we can do but pray that this trial be shortened. I’m 72 and hope I see the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart but it’s not guaranteed. Going to think on my own end times and avoiding too long in Purgatory.
No, Padraig you could not honestly read Sacred Scripture and come up with those interpretations. The Antichrist is the false head of the Roman Catholic Church. The CCC itself explains this in somewhat veiled language. But Antichrist is spoken of in the context of the Church's final trial in 675-677. The deception is a "religious deception." The only person who could deceive Roman Catholic in matters of religion is a person that Catholics thought was the Pope. Placing a false Pope in the Chair of Peter has been the explicit goal of the Freemasons since 1870. I have quoted the document many times. The Apocalypse refers to the Beasts and the Harlot of Babylon. Babylon is the code name for Rome (1 Peter 5:13). Our Lady of La Salette said that "Rome would lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist." You act as if I am just making things up. What I say is supported by the CCC, Sacred Scripture, Doctors of the Church, many of Our Lady's approved apparitions. These prophesied events are happening right now. Listen to the Lifesitenews interview please. https://www.lifesitenews.com/episodes/end-times-prophecy-mystic-warns-of-two-anti-popes I know everyone wants to make this about me. It is not about me. It is about you. Listen to what the CCC, Scripture and Our Lady is saying. Study it carefully and recognize the "signs of the times" as Jesus himself said you should.
More will be happening before BXVI reappears. Much has already happened that you should recognize as "the signs of the times." Again, please watch the video and stop thinking that I am the only one saying these things. https://www.lifesitenews.com/episodes/end-times-prophecy-mystic-warns-of-two-anti-popes
I don't disagree with you about everything. I was just trying to understand the Pope Benedict thingy. You must admit it does sound far fetched.
The Catholic Church has had dozens of private revelations discussing the Holy Pope/Great Monarch prophecy since the Middle Ages. A Croatian priest does not fit the profile. The Holy Pope is a successor of Peter. He will be recognized as such. The key thing is that he will be Holy and traditional and will oppose the changes pushed by the two Beasts. He will oppose the novelties introduced after Vatican II and promote the Traditional Mass. If you live for the next handful of years, you will see all of the prophecies fulfilled. But there are three main groups of Catholics discussed that the Apocalypse: 1) the 144000, 2) the Two Witnesses, 3) those to take the Mark of the Beast. These three groups are also discussed in detail in Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Jeremiah, respectively, using different allegorical language. The 144000 are preserved from the worst of the Chastisement. The Two Witnesses live through the Chastisement and are martyrs. The reprobate who take the Mark of the Beast (the false Eucharist) are the persecutors of the Two Witnesses until the Second Coming. The Warning (coming very soon) will be the watershed point. Prepare for the Warning. Examine your conscience using a traditional examen. Those who are pure at the Warning will be preserved in a special way. That is promised in Scripture.
Yes, admittedly it sounds far fetched. Almost as far fetched as a carpenter's son being born of a Virgin and being the Messiah and being crucified as an offering to God the Father for all the sins of the World and being Resurrected on the third day and ascending in to Heaven. Talk about far fetched. God has a habit of that kind of thing. And the end times is the last Act of the play of God's Salvation history. We should expect it to be just as "incredible" to the "incredulous" as was the First Coming.
