Those who persevere can humbly rejoice in their anticipation of seeing the Lord face-to-face! To rule things out: There have been quite a few cases of child abuse or rape in which the perpetrator is a nest of demons and the innocent victim, after some time, begins to be harassed by those same devils. Those cases need to be resolved with an exorcism and require healing thru forgiveness. There are even those who cast out those demons when they pray for their attacker. ------------ Another assumption: As for the dark nite in which you may find yourself, the trials are precisely similar because the events around you weigh you down so heavily that you can only rely on logical certainty—understanding that everything is a test and using reason alone, detached from feelings, to continue on the Christian path. And now I’m asking you directly: which of the two assumptions is closer to what you believe? Thank you.
So you can’t neglect praying for them either, even tho it seems unnatural to pray for someone who has led you to a bad place. I think you’re going to need the help of a spiritual director to accompany you on that journey. I don’t know where you’re from, but around here it seems there are people who can recommend someone to you. You have to choose someone from the Catholic Church. Not just any preacher will do. A warm embrace, dear Sanctus.

It's a powerful story about spiritual healing after an unthinkable thing happened to him when he was 11 years old. Once he found Christ and became a priest ( and an exorcist)He kept praying for the one who hurt him for some years until he felt the burden lifted and knew that seemingly evil man had finally left purgatory. From my own experiences, praying for those who hurt us and wishing them the same happiness we wish for ourselves, is not easy but it does get easier. That pain we get in our heart does lighten up after praying for others who may have tragically affected our lives. The pain without forgiveness is much worse...almost unlivable. The people may seem like they don't deserve these prayers but we really help ourselves by attempting it. It's not an overnight thing. But the first step can be the hardest...
Keeping on praying for you. Never forget that God answers prayers, knows your suffering and loves us a billion times more than we can ever imagine.

Mirjana Soldo says something in her book, My Heart Will Triumph, which shows that Our Lady confirms this. And she even tells us how to call on her too: "I was intensely moved by Our Lady's message of May 2, 2009 when she said: From the depth of your heart cry out for my Son. His name disperses even the greatest darkness. I will be with you. Just call on me: 'Here we are, Mother. Lead us.'"
I'm really suffering at the moment and finding things difficult. I keep praying and asking God for help.
