What jumped out at me was the power in thanksgiving. This has been on my mind and in my prayer lately. Just last night, I watched this video, which reinforced the same idea:

This puts it about as plainly as it can be put ... and dozens of other credible prophetic sources could be quoted which are all effectively saying the same thing to humanity right now: 'shape up or you will be shipped out'. Very soon. Time to start some serious fasting if we aren't already doing so... this is urgent.

I encourage folks to read the comments section at www.pelianito.stblogs.com (particularly those from 'Lucy'). This is all getting seriously intense now. Definitely not a time for the lukewarm or the faint-hearted. I would also urge against dogmatism in terms of a timeline for the time of darkness along the lines of 'isn't that supposed to come at the end/after the Warning/as the last of the secrets of Medjugorje?' or suchlike, as basically we just have conjectures about any kind of timing for this. The same goes for what may trigger it off, as you can find all sorts of theories out there right now about asteroid impacts stopping the rotation of the earth, EMP events and goodness knows what else. All just speculation. What is clear from Christ's words in Mark 13/Matthew 24 (and Isaiah 13:10 to which they refer), however, is that a time will come, in God's timing, when 'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light'. If you take Pelianito's message seriously - and I don't see a good reason not to - then this has both a literal and a spiritual sense. The fact that very similar messages about the coming darkness are also surfacing simultaneously in Protestant sources only reinforces their currency (Julie Whedbee, 'Bonnie' in Australia). Whether these locutionaries fully understand the material they have received is a secondary question. Watch and pray.
Hey Peter. Back in my new age days I was big into number prompts and what a lady by the name of Doreen Virtue wrote about what different number prompts meant. I will try to make a long story short here. But basically when you see a series of numbers like 444 for example and see them a lot the new agers believe that this is contact from angels and the numbers mean something. I was really big into this at one point but now feel that this phenom can still occur and could be from an evil source or quite possibly for me it could be some signs or contact from heaven. I typically ignore these little signs but a few weeks ago it was too much for me to ignore. I was pulling into a gas station and parked next to a car that had 888. No big deal but for me 888 was a huge deal because it was suppossed to mean that a major change was coming in your life and you needed to get ready. It was a big deal for me because I saw 888 or 8888 to many times to count in the days right before my daughter died. So whenever I see this number now it bothers me but again I don't want to make too much out of the numbers anymore since I have moved away from new age beliefs and back being a devout Catholic. So back to the story. I saw these numbers and then instantly next this car was another car with just EMP in the liscense plate. This was strange and then I saw 999 next to that car which was getting weirder because 999 meant that the change would be over. I began to read into this a bit now because after an EMP a change would be over. No sooner than I saw the 999 there was another car with 333 on it which is also very special for me and has to do specifically with my daughter in heaven. It became her calling card for me in my new age days and the story is too long to explain why. When this happend I instantly called a friend of mine who I can speak with about this who is also a devout Catholic and he was floored by it all too. When I came out of the store the cars I saw were now gone but next to mine now was one with 000 on it. This really blew me away because 000 meant that is was directly from God and that he was just letting me know that all would be ok and He loved me very much. You mentioning EMP just brought this all back up to me. Again I don't put too much into it now a days but also can't ignore the idea that God could be talking to me in a way that I understand and know from my past. I have always been concerned about EMP after reading the book One Second After years ago. I agree with what you say about not trying to figure out the timeline of these events and to just be prepared for the events to come and unfold. May God have mercy on us all and help us in the tough days ahead to stay strong and keep the faith when all hope seems lost!
Yes, the 3 day's of Darkness is the finale of the chastisements. There will be no mercy during this period for those who remain in serious sin. After this comes the era of peace foretold by Our Lady of Fatima.
Peter, Thanks for that nudge to read "Lucy" comments on peli's blog. Wow is all I can say! I have been sensing, although begrudgingly, similar ideas.
Just recently the Lord lead me to this passage in the bible: Isaiah 26:20-21 "Go, my people, enter your chambers, and close your doors behind you; Hide yourselves for a brief moment, until the wrath is past. See, the LORD goes forth from his place, to punish the wickedness of the earth's inhabitants; The earth will reveal the blood upon her, and no longer conceal her slain." That's pretty intense. Pray the rosary and trust in Him - wherever it may lead us.
Peter, thanks for providing insight into Lucy's words. I sense her concern that we are not ready. I know this to be true and I have thought of Ralph Martin's prophecy at Rome in 1975 over and over again recently, which spoke repeatedly on being prepared. I feel so blessed to have accepted Mary as my mother. I do not feel I could go on without her motherhood in my life.
The comment/message from Lucy really spoke loud to me, too, and I intend to share it with others. It occurred to me that this practice of simplifying and paring back our lives could be approached as a sort of double exercise; on the one hand, getting ourselves ready and accustomed for a time when we will have to make do with much, much less than we are now used to (no matter how basic we already think our lives have become!), and on the other hand, turning this simplification process into an opportunity to offer up these renouncements and sacrifices in reparation and atonement.
Fatima. I am curious about what you said about the 3 days of darkness and then the era of peace. I always thought the 3 days of darkness were really at the end of the tribulation per the gospel when the disciples asked about the end. What you said would suggest that the 3 days of darkness and era of peace are not at the end of tribulation where after the new heave and new earth come. Can you aid in my confussion on all of this? 27 For as lightning cometh out of the east, and appeareth even into the west: so shall the coming of the Son of man be. 28 Wheresoever the body shall be, there shall the eagles also be gathered together. 29 And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven shall be moved: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all tribes of the earth mourn: and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with much power and majesty.
Andy, I could be wrong in my position, but my understanding from prophecy is that after the Warning, Miracle and Chastisements comes the era of peace that our Lady of Fatima foretold. The last episode of the chastisements will be the 3 days of darkness, which I believe Pelianito message was about regarding Jonah living in the belly of the whale in complete darkness for 3 days. I could be wrong, but I do not think we are in the time of the person anti-Christ. Love to hear others understanding on this. One reason is, because of all the approved apparitions and even some very likely to be approved apparitions, none speak of this period as belonging to the actual anti-Christ person.
I share your thought on it as well Fatima but I guess am confussed as to if the 3 days of darkness is different then what was said in Mathew 24 above. That is clearly the end and second coming of Jesus if he is coming in the clouds and not the warning or maybe it isn't that clear. I could see where the 3 darkness occurs and who is left puts the pieces of the world back together and then after some time again evil creeps back in or we lost our way....yet again...because we are quite and ignorant and stubborn people, and then anti-christ and final tribulation starts. I would have to assume though under this timeline of events though that the era of peace after chastisments is not the new heaven and new earth spoken about at the end of Revelation or is it?
