I pray this papacy is not worse, and I hope that I did learn something because I certainly struggled during Francis' papacy. I finally had to distance myself, ignore whatever he was up to and pray for him, but in a sense I lost my voice along the way. I recall many saying at the time that we got the pope that we deserved. I dread the possibility that we may go down that path again. I don't want to tear down this new papacy, I want to lift it up, but I will call out anything that I know Jesus would not want for His Church.
It is entirely clear to me that Pope Leo XIV is acting 100% in line with the globalist playbook. Attention is also a precious commodity. Brother Lawrence states that paying attention to the presence of God had become his entire spiritual practice. So, paying too much attention to another captured position of authority is wasteful and results in no benefit. I feel like I have more in common with lay people from other Christian denominations currently than the Pope. On that note, I spend most of my spare time on recollection and contemplation now since Jesus told me to keep my eyes on Him and hold His Hand while he drives. I feel way better for it, not that it matters how I feel. I genuinely think God is moving things on both sides of the chess board currently, fulfilling prophecy. His ways being higher than ours and all.
The Lord is generous. Let the Holy Trinity dwell and flourish within your soul. God is only restricted because we limit what is possible in our lives but he can do unimaginable things within us when we surrender all to him. As Sister Clare Crockett says it is all or nothing. Most of us live quiet, ordinary lives going about our daily duties almost in a hidden way. Even my dear wife is not aware of what the Lord is doing in my interior life but I keep challenging and pleading with the Lord to tend to the garden of my soul for he is the most welcome guest and the King of my heart. May God's will be done.
This Pope as with the previous one has succumb to the worldly ideology of man made climate change. One could call it indoctrination if he genuinely believes in it. Despite what the mainstream media contends it is far from being settled science. Many factors influence climate and the role of man is quite limited in this regard. I do believe this is what Sister Lucia was referring to when she said confusion would enter the Church in a form of diabolical disorientation. We see this with climate justice, the attempt to downplay the reality of sin, the promotion of harmful covid injections, the shutting of churches and denial of the sacraments to the faithful, the acceptance of alphabet behaviour and lately the obfuscation over the intrinsic evil of abortion. That is why St Paul taught "do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12v2). That confusion has entered into the very heart of the Church is alarming but we have been warned. The attempt by the Church to "dialogue" with the world, (the flesh and the devil) since Vatican II has been an unparalleled disaster leading to the loss of many souls. Things will not change until the Church once again recognises that there is an enemy - the world, the flesh & the devil.
Even if “Global Warming/Climate Change/Climate Justice” is a scientific reality (and the progression of titles indicates it’s more like social science, even socialism), of which I also am highly sceptical, it’s not the business of The Church. It could be said to betray a lack of Faith in God. To be a convert to the pagan religion of environmentalism requires the assumption that the Creator is incapable of creating a planet for man’s habitation which is incapable of looking after itself. This simplistic superstition flys in the face of what real science has discovered about the complexity of God’s astonishing Creation. Instead, we have simpletons imagining all kinds of disasters and deluding themselves that they are the ones to fix God’s ‘flawed’ Handiwork. Don’t be surprised if they blot out the sun and induce an Ice Age that will kill billions (which might be the actual purpose of those behind this ideology-of course the vast majority involved, and I’d include the Pope in this, are only useful idiots).
Many many years ago when I was in front of the Blessed Sacrament struggling with many things in my family and in my own soul Jesus told me with an interior voice "Keep your eyes on Me. Don't look to the left dont look to the right. Keep your eyes on Me." This has been my compass especially when the seas get stormy as they are now.

I think your reference to Brother Lawrence is right on target. And so is letting God do His Work. He is working. And we know His Ways are not our ways. Trust is the key. Jesus I trust in You.
I don't want to make you all want to throw yourselves out the window but Papa Leo is the same age as myself and could be around for at least another 15 years Also he us very determined and will work at the speed of light . On the other hand I think God is about to put a stop to it all In fact I know he will
I read a heartening article, entitled ‘Reconquista’ in The Catholic Thing, this morning, describing a reality that might signify some of the already ongoing Divine intervention that Padraig describes. In it, David Warren describes how at least 20% of Muslim immigrants in Europe and N. America have already converted to Christianity and it seems that it is the true believers among them, as opposed to the ‘moderate’ indifferent ones, who are Christianising. Certainly, God writes straight with crooked lines.
Islam is collapsing and in 10 years time, based on the current trajectory, wont be meeting their replacement rates. The apostasy rates in the US for under 30 are currently greater than 25%. The rate of 25% has grown from 2% just twenty years ago and has no indication of stopping. However this apostasy rate is not limited to the US or Europe. It is happening across the Muslim world with the flow of information. On top of all this their great dawah scholars are repeatedly involved in scandals and cannot defend against the ever increasing avalanche of contradictions in the quran and hadith. Personally, I have yet to see one video where any muslim apologist has successfully defended against any polemics. What is even funnier is that much of the counter movement against Islam comes from former muslims, like "Apostate Prophet". They already know all the Muslim arguments and tactics, such as "noooooo, you don't understand because it is in Arabic", so Muslims cannot run. Just look up the "Islamic Dilemma" to see. From this in the comment sections you see people saying things like "ex-muslim here because of this information". Islam is having its own silent revolution.
