If I had to guess I would say you were dealing with a soul very, very deep in purgatory indeed and looking for prayers. It would not hurt to say a few anyway.:)

I had a terrifying dream a few weeks ago. I was at the left side of the altar, apparently as an altar-'boy', whilst a priest was saying a Traditional Latin Mass. This is odd, as I do not normally serve as an altar boy; my son does, and many other boys around his age.
The name of the priest who was praying the Mass was given to me in the dream. It was Caffara. This name did not ring any bells with me during my dream.
Facing the altar, the priest suddenly turned his head to his left and looked at me. His face was very stern, strict, and deeply concerned, with deep wisdom, some sadness, warm and charitable. His stern gaze pierced my heart and gave me a frightening insight into the state of my soul. It was terrible.
I suddenly came to understand that I have wasted much of my life away, particular on the internet, that I have not worked well, and that this will have troubling eternal consequences, and it very much saddened and angered God. It was made clear to me that I have to change my life radically.
When I woke up, the dream felt very real, much like a vision, not like a normal dream. I looked up "Father Caffara" on the internet, and, to my astonishment, found that he was not only a priest but in fact a Cardinal, the very Cardinal who corresponded with Sr. Lucia dos Santos of Fatima. Cardinal Caffara passed away in 2017. The look on his face that I saw in my dream is a bit like this photo, with the exception that his head was turned much more to his left in my dream:
    https://press.vatican.va/content/sa...inali_biografie/cardinali_bio_caffarra_c.html
I do not recall ever having come across a photo of Cardinal Caffara before my dream. During my dream, I was not even consciously aware who Caffara is. Later, upon research, I found it was Cardinal Caffara who received Sr. Lucia's letter in which she outlines that the final battle between the evil one and Our Good Lord is about marriage and family:
    https://insidethevatican.com/news/newsflash/letter-28-last-battle/
This battle is very much what I am fighting in real life, in my marriage and family. However, it was not clear to me until this dream just how unholy a life I have been leading. Since my dream, I have been struggling to overcome my internet addiction and gluttony, with little success. I am currently assisting at a novena of nine consecutive Holy Masses, for strength, and for my marriage and family, and for my work. Comments are welcome.
    God bless all here!

I always love to look to the positives.

It's far better to know there is an area of darkness in our lives. How much worse it would be if we did not see it.

Everyone, even saints have areas of darkness in their lives for as the Book of Sirach says , 'The just man falls several times a day'.

Awareness of sin is a huge source of humility and humility is the foundation of all progress in the Spiritual Life.

St Francis used to say to the brothers every morning, 'Little brothers let us begin today'. Every day and every second of every day is a fresh page to start all over.

I think , poor sinners as we are we usually need to keep banging our noses against habitual sin until we finally realise how hopeless we are at defeating it. Then we turn to God and the Holy Spirit swoops down like an eagle and nag it is gone. But very often it takes a whole lifetime of nose banging before this happens.

In Romans we are told that for those who love God all things work together unto the good. All things, even our sins. So God is using even a bad situation for the good.

Padre Pio said when we go to confession or make an act of contrition we should accept God's forgiveness and move on. Everything else sadness or discouragement is from the Accuser, Satan.

But anyway truth is a wonderful disinfectant, getting a whole bottlefull dropped on your head may sting but is a wonderful gift.

I remember Father Ripperger saying one time that one prayer that is always eagerly and powerfully answered is to pray to your Guardian Angel to show you an area of darkness in your life.

This scared me, I have been afraid to ask.:D:eek:

  10. Had a bunch of weird dreams last night about Pope Leo being assassinated (with an antique muzzle loaded pistol, of all things). First time I’d dreamt about him, hopefully just nightmares.

I am going to share a dream I had very recently. I wanted to discuss it with my Parish Priest before I shared it to get his opinion. He told me I have received a great gift. You probably don't remember a few years ago I had a dream of God telling not to take the covid vaxx . . .that he designed our dna and did not want it disturbed. It was the only dream in my life of a message from God. Well, I had a dream with Jesus!!!! I was in a small village, in the center. Buildings were all old stone . . .I was standing in the center of the village. A monk was standing near by at a tall table like structure with a bag counting some old coins. Some of them fell on the ground and he picked them up and put them in the bag. Some people started yelling from the edge of the town, "Jesus is coming!". I moved over to a ledge of stone and sat on it. Jesus came into the town and sat down next to me. He was Full of Joy!!! Full of Love, a love that is beyond our comprehension. We have nothing like this love on earth. We started talking and he was holding my hands. We were both so happy and full of joy. I asked him for something (this is personal) and he granted it. He told me he loved me and kissed me on the top of my head. I looked at him and thought he looked just like the painting I did of him! Then he asked me to do something for him and I said yes . . .he told me to go outside of the town on the dirt road and anyone that was coming down the road to warn them . . .he is coming! End of dream. For days I was so joyful and felt such great graces. So, I'm not sure how I am to warn people or how to do it. I talked to my Priest about it and he didn't have too many ideas. So, I just casually tell people Jesus is coming. I don't get much of a response, but I am letting you know this dream was very real. In my dream I told Jesus I had tremendous faith, and after that is when he asked me to let people know he is coming. I would recommend everyone to get to confession and remain in the state of grace.

I remember your earlier dream very vividly. It was a true message. And as I recall when you tried to tell your (then) priest, he wasn't too interested. Im so glad that this priest listened. It takes great courage to speak to people and warn them--in this curent world. I thank God for His Word to you.

Thanks for sharing your dream. God and Our Blessed Mother are counting on the faithful remnant to be messengers of hope.

Just a suggestion: If those of us who can do so will invite at least one person to watch The Great Warning movie, it will create a ripple effect, helping draw souls back to God.

The movie is now available on Amazon (US) at affordable prices:

rent: $1.99 (SD version), $2.99 (HD version)

buy: $7.99 (SD version), $9.99 (HD version)

    https://www.amazon.com/Great-Warning-Carlos-Salas-Tamez/dp/B0FL1F7CCK

    The movie features:

    · four individuals’ personal experiences of the warning/illumination of conscience: Fr. Rick Wendell, Amaya (Maria del Himalaya), Emma Merlo, and Alan Ames

    · with commentaries from Daniel O’Connor, Fr. James Blount, and Christine Watkins

    · quotes from Venerable Fulton Sheen, the Flame of Love (Spiritual Diary of Elizabeth Kindelmann), the Diary of St. Faustina (Divine Mercy in My Soul), and St. Edmund Campion’s prophecy

    · relevant passages from the Bible

    o Amos 3: 7

    o Psalm 97

    o Matthew 24: 29–30

    o Acts 9: 5, Galatians 1: 11–12 (St. Paul’s conversion)

    o Revelations 6: 13–17

Towards the end of the movie, the following events are mentioned as signs preceding the warning:

    · “the world in crisis due to economic chaos

    · battles between powerful nations

    · social chaos and violent riots in different parts of the world

    · increase in the number and intensity of catastrophes caused by natural disasters

    · important synod in the Church and when it would be difficult to openly practice the faith

    · events beginning when least expected, happening successively at a dizzying pace”
