I honestly don’t mind the idea of a pope being subject to criticism—virtually every pope since John XXIII has slipped on some "theological banana peel". What really bothers me is the possibility that the papacy has been permanently suppressed, with no plausible hope for restoration anytime soon. It's as if we were in an eternal night that never ends, to the point that we might actually be on equal footing with the Orthodox—or even safer under the aegis of some of their jurisdictions.

Another troubling point is that Malachi Martin spoke of a pope completely under the control of the devil, but he never left room for two people occupying that role. Similarly, the vision of the bishop dressed in white suggests a figure who is not the pope—yet never two individuals at once.

Finally, the most important issue: Prevost is quite young and could reign for about 19 years on average. When added to Francis’s 12 years, that would mean nearly 30 years of a vacant See. That’s such a prolonged absence of a true magisterium that it would give retrospective credibility to what many sedevacantists have been thinking for decades. After all, if God allowed two antipopes to reign for so long, in a way that dangerously undermines apostolic succession, who’s to say the sedevacantists weren’t right? If two antipopes can reign for decades, why not seven reigning for nearly seventy years?

The lack of prophetic references to this situation also bothers me. In Francis’s case, there was some light shed by the prophecy of St. Francis of Assisi, Malachi Martin’s 1998 interview with Art Bell, and even the core of the Third Secret vision itself. I see that many sedevacantists, lacking a solid eschatology to explain the possibility of decades of antipopes, resort to the theory of the seven kings or heads of the Beast—a theory many Protestants also use against us.

I hope I haven’t opened a can of worms in the minds of people on the forum with this post, but I really had to honestly vent what I’ve been thinking.

It's not a question of just another bad Pope. There have been many bad Popes over the last 2,000 years.

I am saying that an Apostate heretic cannot be a Pope.
    A wolf cannot be shepherd.
    Black cannot be white.

Someone who does not believe the teachings of the Catholic Church is still a Catholic?

Is the Pope a Catholic? even if he has a nice smile? Even if he kisses babies? Even if he is an American?

It isn't fun when our hopes are dashed but here we are.
This is my take as well. The PLXIV could clear up everything in 10 minutes regarding all the issues. Instead it is back to being slow boiled in globalist slop.

Okay all I am saying is that to go from let's give the pope a chance to the pope is an apostate in one breath begs certain questions. That you don't want to answer is your perogative. Just so we are clear on our terms an apostate is someone who has wilfully repudiated the Catholic faith. That is, a complete and utter rejection of the faith.

Yes, but we’re talking about the possibility of decades of antipopes reigning in the Vatican in succession, with a real chance of destroying the apostolic succession—so we might actually be safer in the Orthodox Church. As for kissing babies or having a charming smile, I find that completely irrelevant, and I didn’t mention any of that in this discussion.

It is really, really, really good reading up on Catholic Prophesy on all this It is very precise and accurate .

  7. I pray for the Pope everyday but there are things that disturb me. I knew something was up when Cupich, Tobin and the gang were gushing with joy over him. I do trust Bishop Strickland and a few others and they tend to say things that I am thinking.

If we get to sit on our little computer screens and decide who the Pope is, who is to say that we haven’t been in “sedevacante” since 1958? Or maybe since one of the many crisis of the Middle Ages? Lay people do not get to decide these things. If your bishop tells you to scrub the floor of the cathedral with a toothbrush you should do it. The devil can mimic every virtue but obedience.

Every Pope since the 60s have appointed heretics as Bishops. But three of them are still canonized saints. John Paul II kissed a Koran, held the horrible Assisi prayer meeting, etc. Basically all the VII popes covered up sexual abuse. In the Middle Ages we had Popes who kept mistresses and fathered children. These are historical facts. We know from various Saints that there are Popes in hell.

Despite that, I don’t get to decide whether or not the man who sits in St. Peter’s Chair is Pope. And no one on this forum can either.

I am not sure anyone is questioning whether or not the Pope is the Pope, but rather if the Pope is Catholic.

Precisely the same argument used by sedevacantists.

If the pope were an apostate his complete and utter rejection of Christ would disqualify him from being pope.

Let's not forget that God is still in charge, and He has always used flawed men who make many mistakes to accomplish His Will.

One of my priests made the very good point the other day that if we were there when Peter denied Christ then heard he was now pope, we would be very indignant. How could someone who denied Christ 3 times become pope? Even if he's sorry...doesn't that show how easily he can turn on God during weakness? But God doesn't choose the perfect.

If it were up to us to choose the pope, I don't know if anyone would make it past our scrutiny or never let us down. I know some say our recent popes are the worst ever, but we didn't live during those times when popes seemed to be selected by rich families and were intent on building up their own riches and prestige. We weren't there to hear all the rumors swirling about what they did in their private lives and the things they said off the cuff about God, or whom they were selecting as bishops and what those bishops did that were scandalous. We only know now what was passed down through history, and we can see the big picture, how the Church still survived and God was still with us.

  15. It's like the emperor with no clothes again... I'm not a sede but I do have a brain God gave me to use....much respect to the brave Priests and Bishops that will stand with us in the future as the Eucharist is given less respect and love. When I hear a homily of open borders, the end of classes of people being good and nationalism being bad by a sitting Pope, to me that is a red flag.

We put our Popes under a microscope these days. What would anyone think of me as a Dad if I had been put under a microscope each day and all my warts were seen. Yeesh!:censored:

Lord, watch over, protect, and guide Pope Leo XIV!

Microscopes are how we spot cancers.

But I do understand the, 'He's the Pope for goodness sake we have to be nice to him', thingy.

So mostly I am staying silent about all this until it becomes obvious that wickedness is at obvious play as it did with Papa Frankie.

But we are rapidly running out of time here. So I decided to stick my oar in very early. But don't worry I won't be posting very much about him because I know folks are not ready to listen.##So, no I won't be constantly ranting and whinging about him. What would be the use?

    Yet.

But now and again I'll throw a grenade or two until folks wake up.

But I guess Raymond Arroyo and his sidekicks have woken up and smelt the coffee,as have others, like Bishop Schieneder, Strickland el al...

I can, for instance see the look on some peoples faces when they comment on all this. They are terrified.
