I'm not the least bit anti Semitic but its hard not to feel very angry and bitter about the carnage folks in Tel Aviv are causing in the world at the moment. May God forgive them.

The World constantly seems to be walking a tight rope in which we may all be destroyed. It is only a week or two since India and Pakistan, both nuclear powers, were looking down the barrel of a gun. In a human sense sooner or later we will fall off the tight rope. It's bound to happen , someone will press the red button and then Armageddon. Our only hope is in God. Only God can save us.

In Medugorje in what is the greatest series or Marian apparitions in the history of the World , Our Lady comes as Queen of Peace. She warns of the danger of wars. She did so at Akita in Japan, A Cuapa in Nicaragua and at Kibeho in Rwanda.

But what can we do but pray? Prayer and penance as Our Lady requested. Our poor, poor World. Peace.

    Psalm 72:3-5

3 Let there be peace and justice throughout the land,
known on every mountain and hill.
4 May the king be fair to the poor.
May he help the helpless and punish those who hurt them.
5 May people always fear and respect you, God,
as long as the sun shines and the moon is in the sky.

During the Cold War there was great fear too. But there was never this diabolical madness; this sense that the people in control of thing no longer care and actually seek war.

But men may seek War; but God never seeks war, only Peace.

The fierce winds of fear may blow around us but may they never pluck us from the rock of Christ.
    Or of His Church.

The wonderful hope which Our Lady brings calls us to join her before the Throne. Save us, O Lord!

I tremble because I fail to see how a tit for a tat will bring calm. In my opinion, Israel has dealt a blow which can only lead to all out war.

We must pray intensely. Israel's goal: first Gaza, now Iran!

Daily prayers now to the Prince of Peace!

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us!

I see that Iran's military response basically failed to cause any significant damage, for which I'm grateful. Such a immediate response by Iran was unavoidable. But I find the glee of major networks disturbing. After the hateful obliteration of Gaza and its accompanying genocide, Israel is not on my favorite nation list. In the wings is Turkey and when push comes to shove, it will be Iran that will be supported!

I believe this is far from over. If Iran rolls over and offers no further retaliation, I will be logically surprised. I will continue heartfelt prayers!
