UNTANGLED ROSARIES Another interesting miraculous phenomenon was the returning of rosaries. Now that people started to believe the Blessed Mother was actually appearing at Garabandal, they would bring their rosaries and medals to be kissed by her. They were all piled on a table for the girls to offer up to her. Entangled when presented by the girls to be kissed by the Blessed Mother, the rosaries and medals would incredibly untangle smoothly when being returned to their owners. Even without any pre-established order, the Garabandal visionaries also never erred in returning each object to its proper owner.

Simon González, Jacinta's father (on girls receiving Communion and Confession) I went for the first time. I had read a little bit about what ecstasies are, but it’s one thing to read it on paper, and it’s quite another to actually see it… It brought me to tears. It took place in the calleja. I was especially touched when the Angel gave them communion. Jacinta came and told us that the Angel gave them Communion. They told us about it, and we could see that the Angel would start at one side of the line of the four girls and end on the other side. Each girl put out her tongue and yes, we could see each girl swallow the Host. Once we saw that the Angel didn’t give Jacinta Communion. Apparently, she had quarreled with her mother. The next day, I was working in the fields and I asked, “Where is Jacinta?” I was told that she had left. She had heard the church-bells ring for Mass, and she went to go to confession. When she got to the Church, Father Valentín was already celebrating Mass. After Mass, she went to confession and that afternoon my wife and I spoke, and we said, “Let’s see if the Angel gives her Communion, now that she has gone to confession.” We looked closely and yes, he did give her communion. Sometimes the Angel didn’t give communion to the other girls as well. As for my daughter, I think the reason he didn’t give her communion was because of her disobedience to her mother. So he didn’t give her communion until she went to confession.
Why the late hour visitations ? When the children were asked why the Virgin came at such late hours, they answered that the Virgin told them that it was at that time most of the sins of the world were committed and that they should do penance... And for them it was a penance, and not the smallest, to stay up until the Virgin came to visit them, late in the night, or very early in the morning. They performed this penance because the Virgin wanted it and also because they wanted to see her again. From “Memoirs of Spanish Priest” pg 51
LEVITATIONS I want to mention that this story also contradicts the outrageous lies printed on “Unity Publishing “ that the girls flew above the ground and over houses . It was only inches off the ground. CHAPTER XIX Levitations : I know of many cases of levitation that took place at Garabandal. One case was photographed, and its copy on slides has been spread throughout the entire world. It is interesting to note that the photographer noticed the actual phenomenon only after the film was developed. Another levitation took place at the very small bridge — now gone — which was in front of the church. On that day, the brook that it crossed was full. The four girls, in ecstasy, were holding arms. The bridge was not wide enough to permit the passage of the four girls abreast, which is what they did nevertheless; one or two of them consequently had to pass outside of the bridge on the water, without, however getting their feet wet. Another time I was in Conchita’s kitchen, with 2 priests, a young Mexican, the well known commander of the Civil Police at Puentenansa, Dr. Celestino Ortiz from Santander, and Aniceta. In ecstasy, Conchita had an obvious levitation, properly observed. She was stretched out on the ground, her whole length, her arms a little extended from her body, the palms of her hands pointing upwards. We saw her rise up to the height of about ten centimeters (4 inches) while holding the same stretched-out position. After that she made three movements of balancing, from front to back and from back to front, as if to show us that she was really separated from the ground. After a minute and a half — we checked the time — she started to descend very slowly, her body always completely and modestly stretched out until she came down to the ground. We all signed a report of this extraordinary fact and we gave it to Father Valentín for him to send it to the Bishop of Santander. “Memoirs of a Spanish Country Priest” page 45
The girls eyes do not blink in ecstasy. “When in ecstasy, light falling on their eyes does not cause them to blink. This can be appreciated in a film taken under bright arc-lights which made no impression on the visionaries at all. But, on emerging from their trance, they could be seen to react immediately, shielding their eyes from the unbearable glare.” “The apparitions of GARABANDAL” BY : F. CONCHITA ON LIVING AND SPREADING THE MESSAGE From a 1966 Locution with Jesus “ Let us give thanks to God for having chosen us to help our fellowman find the road of true peace with a joyful destination through the messages that Our Mother has given us. SUN IN THE SHAPE OF A CROSS SEEN AT GARABANDAL On June 13,1978 at approximately 5 :30pm, A group of pilgrims from Great Britain were praying at the grove of Pine trees, and all of a sudden one of them said “ Look at the Sun ! “ 32 of the pilgrims observed the Sun in the shape of a cross while others saw it turn into a silver disk which spun rapidly, others saw it change into different colors such as blue and green, sometimes within another circle. A Call to Repentance From the book “She Went in Haste to the Mountain” (Book 1) pg.180 Mary said : — You should avoid the wrath of the Good God. — I want to tell you to amend your lives. — You should sacrifice yourself more. — Think of the Passion of Jesus. We provoke the wrath of God upon ourselves by our own rebellion, our own disobedience, our own self-will. All evil consists in trying to follow our own ways, instead of seeking the ways of God. Our ways are very easy to follow; it suffices to allow ourselves to be led. But ours are ways of sin — and not only the sin of the world that so many new books now propose — and they lead us to destruction. On the other hand, the ways of God, how difficult they can be at times! His are the ways of triumph and salvation; but they can only be traveled thru effort and sacrifice: two things that our weakened nature abhors.
FR. VALENTIN MARICHALR INTERVIEW On June 15, 1976, in Garabandal, the magazine "Needles" had the privilege and honor of being able to interview Father Valentim Marichalar, parish priest of the village of Garabandal at the time of the apparitions between 1961 and 1965. This was his first public interview , having been for some years prevented from discussing these matters. Question: Have you ever asked Our Lady to give you a sign as proof? Reply: “Yes. Our Lady gave it to me herself one day at 1am. I was quite tired and said to myself: "Well, Let the Virgin clarify this for me. I can't go on like this much longer." I asked that if all this be true, that one of the girls would come to me this very night while I was sleeping to wake me up and kiss the crucifix. After that, I went to bed thinking, "Let's see how this is clarified." . In the middle of the night, at 4 am, Mari-Loli, in ecstasy, accompanied by the writer Sanchez Ventura and a small group of people, knocked on my bedroom door. When I opened the door, she turned to face me, smiled at me, still in ecstasy. and then extended the crucifix she held for me to kiss. This was a very clear sign for me. Then too, how did she know which room I was in since the hall had four doors, all identical ? I was in the third one, the one she knocked on. How did she know I was in there?”
June 16,2002 Padre Pio is Canonized by Pope JPII. Both of these Saints were Garabandal believers and supporters. Padre Pio’s testimony guarantees the authenticity of the apparitions, as he could read souls and was never incorrect. His reputation is unquestioned. Garabandal is the only apparition I know of that had 6 Saints believe and support it : ( Saints Padre Pio, Pope John Paul II, Pope Paul VI, Mother Teresa, Jose Marie Escriva, Madre Maravillas. )
“All my children” The Blessed Mother says to Conchita: “Conchita, I do not come for you alone, but for all my Children, with the desire to bring them closer to our hearts” From : Garabandal: Message of Hope”. Fr. Jose Luis Saavedra, pg. 174 During the course of the Garabandal apparitions, it was observed that one of the Seers, in ecstasy, offered the “kissed crucifix” to a non-Catholic. The witnesses were surprised to see this and when the apparition was over, asked the child about it. During the next apparition, the visionary questioned the Blessed Virgin as to why she had been directed to give the crucifix to a Protestant. THIS DAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY:JUNE 18, 1961 The first appearance of St. Michael to the 4 girls. JUNE 18, 1965 - on the 4th Anniversary of his first visit, St. Michael delivers the Blessed Mother’s second and most important message. “ As my message of October 18 has not been complied with and has not been made known to the world, I am advising you that this is the last one. Before, the cup was filling up. Now it is flowing over. Many cardinals, many bishops and many priests are on the road to perdition and are taking many souls with them. Less and less importance is being given to the Eucharist. You should turn the wrath of God away from yourselves by your efforts. If you ask His forgiveness with sincere hearts, He will pardon you. I, your mother, through the intercession of Saint Michael the Archangel, ask you to amend your lives. You are now receiving the last warnings. I love you very much and do not want your condemnation. Pray to us with sincerity and we will grant your requests. You should make more sacrifices. Think about the passion of Jesus.”
