14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. Prayer and fasting can move mountains!
Does anyone know roughly what year it was when Padre Pio told a woman in confession that the baby she aborted would have become pope? I've wondered if Pope Francis was the "back-up" God allowed to become pope during the time that woman's baby was supposed to be pope. That he was our spiritual punishment for allowing abortion in our world, and for even Catholics getting abortions and contracepting. Regardless, I've wondered where that pope was supposed to fall on the timeline, and what we missed as a result.
By the way, if the new pope is elected on this date, his inaugural Mass could take place on May 18, birthday of Saint John Paul II, considering that in the last two pontificates the inaugural Mass was held approximately five days after the election.
Oh ok! I had read Padre Pio said the baby would have been a pope. I don't know if it was a different woman, or if the story was embellished/changed over the years.
Interesting to note, the next blue moon in May would be in the year 2045 which reminded me of a "prophecy" I read: When the Feast of St. Mark (April 25) shall fall on Easter, the Feast of St. Anthony (June 13) on Pentecost, and that of St. John (June 24th) on Corpus Christi, the whole world shall cry, Woe These dates converge in 2038. Which would leave plenty of time for things to happen aligning with Don Bosco's 400 day time line. However, if you look into who said this it seems she isn't approved. The following website shares some problems they saw with her: https://greatmonarch-angelicpontiffprophecies.blogspot.com/p/madeleine-porsatporzat-c.html?m=1 But the timing of it all interests me especially seeing she lived around the same time as Don Bosco and personally because I don't think we interpret St. Malachy's line of popes correctly. But all in God's sweet time.
I have a feeling that the next pope will proclaim 2026 as the Year of Faith, just as Benedict XVI proclaimed 2012, thus coexisting in a way with the end of the Jubilee period on the upcoming January 6 and marking the beginning of something new.
I think you might be right. There are many online reports that state the aborted baby was destined to be Pope. The link I shared before gives an estimate of 1946 as the year when the baby was aborted, so it is possible the baby would have been Pope instead of Papa Francis. https://adocaoespiritual.org.br/en/blog/padre-pio-made-a-woman-see-the-pope-that-she-had-an-abortion
I remember when the Aids epidemic first surfaced asking the Lord for a cure, as so many were affected by it. He responded by saying he had already given a person the cure but that the person had been aborted. I was shocked at the time.
There is going to be a reckoning at the Final Judgement when Jesus will reconcile all things to Himself.
Truth. If you mention this to people most will scoff at you, and refuse to accept it. The world may have missed out on many advances in science. Ever wonder what happened to all of the wonderful original music, films, plays, and books that were a part of our lives growing up? I'm certain abortions killed many of our creative geniuses. Such a tragedy for mankind.
I keep reading that Tagle is the favorite but I thought they shy away from younger cardinals. What's his stance on the latin mass? Does he hate it as much as demodummies hate Elon Musk and Tesla automobiles? I think the other favorites are okay with the latin mass. I think Pope Francis is presiding over a latin mass right about now.
Does anyone know if there were any votes held on Sunday during the October 1978 conclave? According to Wikipedia, it began on Saturday, October 14, and ended on Monday, October 16, after eight ballots. I'm wondering if the possible 24-hour pause after three days without consensus could actually be extended because of Sunday, the Lord's Day. I've only been able to witness two conclaves in my lifetime, and neither of them lasted until the end of the week.
I would think they keep working because their duties keep them exempt. Like how they perform the mass on Sundays.
If the pope is elected on Sunday, at least I’ll be able to watch it live on TV because I’ll be off work.
