I have been thinking and praying about this a lot since Pope Francis went into the hospital. I wonder if his passing is the foretold event that would cause people to stop believing in Garabandal due to folks being too caught up on the '4 popes' statement.
It's quite interesting, isn't it? That Our Lady would not have mentioned Bergoglio as one of the "4." This count also matches up with the count in St. Malachy's prophecy of the popes, in which "the glory of the olive," Benedict XVI is the last Pope given a nickname in that prophecy. Why wouldn't Bergoglio have been given a nickname that relates to him by St. Malachy? Why did Our Lady not tell Conchita about him?
The “WARNING” itself will not cause people to die. Many people have written to me on this topic. I want people who are panicking to realize two things. First, you know the Warning is coming ! So it won’t be an unexpected shock.( like it will be to great number of people). Secondly, those who will suffer the greatest pain (and possibly death) are those who are maybe Atheist, or those who have spent their lives railing against God, and denying him at every opportunity, they are the ones who are in the greatest danger. Conchita said “Dying will not be caused by the Warning itself, but by the effect that we will have on seeing and feeling it.” From “ She went in haste to the Mountain”, Book 3 Chpt. 9,page 154
Conchita on the Miracle Conchita, "the Miracle will be as great and spectacular as the world needs. Let us wait trustfully and prepare properly for that great day of the miracle, for it will perhaps be the last chance given us by Heaven, Mary's final effort to make the world leave its road to perdition and, by rectifying in time, ward off its punishment.” “The Apparitions of GARABANDAL” By F. SANCHEZ-VENTURA Y PASCUAL Chapter 9, Page 135
I don't believe anyone will die as a result of the Warning, it's not the purpose of the Warning; God will protect our bodies; in fact I think without special protection any mystical experience could result in our death. The Miracle also would be too much for us, that's no doubt why Fr Luis died, the joy of the Miracle was too much for poor human nature to bear; that of course doesn't mean the rest of us will die from the experience, God allowed Fr Luis to die for a purpose.
NO. Blessed Mother simply said there will be 4 more Popes-and then the Epoch-end of a specific point in time. Then a new one begins. The Era or time of the Warning and Miracle. Pope Francis is the 5th Pope. Not part of the 4 in number advised of by Our Blessed Mother! Her statement She made to Conchita was about the next 4 at that time. Not the 5th or beyond! Peace!
MIRACLE DAY DETAILS 1.Conchita is the only Visionary who knows the date. 2.Conchita will reveal it 8 days in advance. (I will announce on all my language pages). 3. The girls said it will happen between the Months of March, April and May, BUT My research says it will be in April ! (I am sure of this ). 4. It will be on a Thursday evening, In April between the 8th -16th, at 8:30pm ( Spanish time ). 5. It will be on the Feast Day of a young male Martyr of the Eucharist. (already a Martyr in 1963 when she saw his name). 6. The Martyr will not be Spanish. 7. It will coincide with a great event in the Church, but will not be a feast day of our Lord or a Marian feast day. It will NOT be on Holy Thursday,Corpus Chisti or the Ascension. 8. It will be visible to all in the Village of Garabandal, and the surrounding mountains. The sick who are present will be cured and the incredulous will believe. It will be the greatest miracle that Jesus will have performed for the world. There won't be the slightest doubt that it comes from God . 9. It will be able to be filmed and televised. 10. It will last for about 15 minutes, and after that a permanent sign will remain at the Pines forever !
Has the feast of Sts. Tiburtius, Valerian, and Maximus, Martyrs, on April 14 been considered? Feast was celebrated prior to 1965. https://www.saintanneshelper.com/catholic-feast-days.html#4 https://acatholiclife.blogspot.com/2005/09/catholic-feast-days.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Roman_Calendar_of_1960#April Seems to fit the above parameters.
Actually St Tiburtius was 20 when he was Martyred so I stand corrected on that. But he wasn’t a martyr of the Eucharist and his feast day is shown as Aug 11
20, thank you. Under the Tridentine Latin Mass Calendar, the feast day is April 14. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tridentine_calendar#April Same for the General Roman Catholic Calendar of 1960…in force in 1963. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Roman_Calendar_of_1960#April Seems to still be a contender.
Here’s one. He was beheaded. https://anastpaul.com/2023/08/11/saint-of-the-day-11-august-saint-tiburtius-died-c286-martyr/
“The Miracle will be on the feastday of a young martyr of the Eucharist, a boy who carried Communion to persecuted Christians. “His companions, on seeing him pass by, wanted to force him to stay and take part in their games. Infuriated by his resistance, they ended up hurling stones at him until he was left almost dead. Later a Christian soldier came, who recognized him and carried him in his arms. “ She Went in Haste to the Mountain”, Book 3,Chapter 7 , pg.146
MIRACLE DAY MARTYR” CRITERIA A young male martyr of the Eucharist. ( a boy/ teen ) Because of the first statement, it is male , not female. Not being of Spanish heritage. (as per Conchita). The Miracle is in April, so must the martyr’s feast day. Feast day must fall between the 8th-16th on a Thursday. His feast day will coincide with an Ecclesiastical event in the church. It will not be on Holy Thursday. Since the " Miracle Saint" information came about in 1963, it would have to be the Traditional Latin Mass schedule. The Novus Ordo didn't start until 1965. ( It is possible that his name did not appear on the calendar in 1963,so that complicates things. Saints feast days do move)
Thank you. I read it, however, nowhere did it say he was NOT a Eucharistic martyr…just that he was a martyr. My research did not uncover conclusive proof one way or the other, which is why I asked. Based on the above, Tibirtius, Feast Day, April 14 in thenTridentine Latin Mass Calendar for 1963, martyred at 20 years old….remains a possibility….and can’t be ruled out.
