Hi Andy. Yes. We have applied for LDT and SSD. LDT does not kick in until 180 days (February). But main issue is even with LDT, we will lose our employer paid health benefits. LDT is income but not benefits. My wife does not become eligible for Medicare until January 2026. So looks like we will need to go on Cobra. God will provide. He has been with us every step of the way since the accident. Peace.

Thank you for the prayers! Her surgery went well... her stone was able to be broken up and they replaced the stent. Surgeon said there could be a narrowing of the bladder, and she will undergo another procedure but this time in office in about two weeks. We had a most blessed Christmas... truly grateful we are home and recovering. Our children have been remarkable in their care for us but more important we are seeing more and more their trust in God and their faith is growing. God is good.
Dealing with the crosses of life can produce a fight or flight reaction. I'm glad your children are bearing the fruit of choosing loving care!
