Gay pilgrims to have special day during jubilee

CV NEWS FEED // Pope Francis has approved a pilgrimage specifically for LGBT individuals as part of the 2025 Jubilee celebrations, according to Italian journalist Franca Giansoldati in Il Messaggero. Scheduled for Sept. 6, this event has been added to the official Jubilee calendar.

The pilgrimage will take place at the Church of the Gesù, a historic Baroque Jesuit church in Rome known for its ornate design and as the resting place of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuits, and St. Francis Xavier, Il Messaggero reported. Participants will begin with a prayer vigil Sept. 5 at the Church of the Gesù, followed by a procession through the Holy Door at St. Peter’s Basilica the next day.

The initiative was conceived by Father Pino Piva, a Jesuit priest from Bologna, and received backing not only from Pope Francis but also from prominent Church figures, including Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, president of the Italian Bishops’ Conference, and Father Arturo Sosa, the Jesuit superior general. Giansoldati reports that Father Sosa described the event as “a good thing,” though it has faced “a lot of internal resistance,” the details of which were not specified.

The Dicastery for Evangelization, which oversees the Jubilee events, has not officially commented on the LGBT-specific pilgrimage. An official spokesperson told Reuters that an event’s inclusion in the Jubilee calendar does not imply the Dicastery supports it; the events are not sponsored activities. Archbishop Rino Fisichella, pro-prefect of the Dicastery, is said to have worked closely with Pope Francis to facilitate the arrangements.

According to Il Messaggero, Monsignor Fisichella, the Jubilee director and pro-prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, confirmed the event is part of the official Jubilee calendar.

“Everyone is welcome,” he said, according to ANSA.

The pilgrimage, titled “Church, Home for All, LGBT+ Christians and Other Existential Frontiers,” will be organized by the Italian LGBT association Tenda di Gionata (Jonathan’s Tent). The group promotes LGBT ideology within the Church and society in the name of “inclusion.” According to LifeSiteNews, the group has also promoted LGBT prayer events featuring blasphemous icons of Christ with rainbow-colored halos and flags.

In 1986, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF), under Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, issued a directive to bishops regarding pastoral care for homosexual people. It warned against any pastoral programs that failed to clearly affirm the Church’s moral teachings, stating that neglecting this responsibility could mislead individuals into believing homosexual activity was morally acceptable.

The document emphasized the need for pastoral care rooted in truth, including the sacraments, prayer, and spiritual guidance, to help individuals live in accordance with Church teaching, stating, “Only what is true can ultimately be pastoral.”

Jason Jones says Vulnerable People Project cannot get aid into Northern Gaza, Christians and civilians face starvation

CV NEWS FEED // Jason Jones, founder of the Vulnerable People Project, whose stated mission is “to defend the vulnerable from violence by promoting human dignity and inspiring solidarity,” told CatholicVote that the Christians and general civilian population in northern Gaza are facing starvation, as humanitarian aid has been cut off or greatly hindered by the Israeli army, and the city of Gaza remains under total siege.

In an exclusive interview with CatholicVote, Jones said that the Vulnerable People Project, which is often able to bring needed humanitarian aid to both sides of a conflict in a war-torn area, cannot presently provide any aid to Christians and civilians in northern Gaza because the local Palestinian liaison for aid was killed by Israeli soldiers.

With humanitarian aid now cut off from many sources seeking entry into northern Gaza due to Israeli blockades and hostilities, and with the city of Gaza completely surrounded, Palestinian residents, including Christians, now face the prospect of starvation as winter approaches and food supplies run low.

Jones said that as things now stand, “no one can get out” of northern Gaza, and “no aid can get in.” Given the restrictions in northern Gaza, Jones said he was refocusing aid to Christians and civilians in southern Gaza and Lebanon.

The beheadings of ISIL with the support of Israel, the USA, Turkey and the UK are coming to power in Syria... The Russians let Assad fall, and so did the Iranians.

In this way, Israel is preventing the supply of Hezbollah in Lebanon from Iran via Syria, it will take part of Syria's theories in the creation of a great Israel and will attack Lebanon again, and they will probably say that they were the first to be attacked...

In addition to helping Israel, the US gets a gas pipeline from Qatar through Syria to Israel and Europe and knocks Russia out of the game.

Turkey is expanding its territory towards Syria, the gas pipeline will go through Turkey, which will make money and blackmail Europe, which they have been doing for years.

Why the Russians and Iranians let Assad go, we will see. Syria is otherwise very corrupt, the army seems to have been non-existent and there was no resistance here. The Russians even gave up their two important bases, and for example they say that they did not know that the Turks were training tens of thousands of terrorists, and in 2016 the Russian secret services knew that there would be a coup against Erdogan and saved his life. So something is not right in the whole story...

I feel sorry for the people of Syria, Al Qaeda and ISIL are coming to power, but unfortunately corruption, nepotism and not the slightest desire to organize the country, nor the ambition to defend it, have cost them.

I guess now you understand why the globalists are filling the west with people from those countries. Corruption, anarchy, listlessness, lethargy, no ambition to fight for higher goals... It is a pleasure to rule over them for globalists, they do not offer resistance, they are prone to corruption, and you know that they cannot rebel or unite.

The West and its descendants have that, they have the passion, the will and they know the price of sacrifice. When London was destroyed during WW2 and tens of thousands of residents has been killed, a large sign appeared on the ruins of the buildings in the morning for German pilots to see. It said "You can destroy our homes, but you can't destroy our hearts"

That does not apply to these nations...

This is the real reason why Assad must go (Western politicians)...

I watched a very, very good homily from a young priest yesterday on the Scripture passage on the Parable of the wheat and the Tares (weeds):

    Matthew 13:24-30

The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares
24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”

The Father said that it is so like this for we Catholics. That in the Church there are people who really are Catholics (the wheat) who believe all that the Church and Scripture teaches. We believe for instance that abortion is wrong, that Sodomy is wrong, that Euthanasia is wrong, that adultery is wrong and so on..We believe as well in things like the existence of evil and Demons and hell.

Then there the people that seem in many respects to be our doubles (the Weeds) . They dress up often as Bishops and Priests and Cardinals (and even nowadays as a Pope), but they believe not all in the things Catholics believe. There was, for instance a recent survey in the USA that 70% of Catholics there do not believe in the Real Presence.

So we have a situation in the field (the Church) where the wheat (the Catholics) is growing up right alongside the Weeds (those who pretend to be Catholic (like Papa Frankie). This until the time when the angels are sent in, during the Tribulation to make the Great Harvest and restore all things in Christ.

I don't know, but it seems very strange to me that 15,000 paid terrorists conquered the entire territory of Syria, which had the support of Russia and Iran, in about 10 days, while the Syrians had the support of Russian and Syrian planes... This is the most deliberate, the Syrian army pulled everywhere.

To be honest with you, the Russians and their actions are very strange to me. There is a constant story that they are some kind of counter-tendency to the globalists, however, the moves they are making, their "incompetence" and some kind of truce that later turn against them in a naivety like no experienced country, especially the former communist one that was the first to make such fake truces and then betrayed them, are incredible .

It seems more like a game to me...

Look at Ukraine, a country that was 50% Russian speaking, had a pro-Russian president Yanukovich, 20% Russian population and 50% pro-Russian oriented country that allowed the west to invest 5 billion dollars, overthrow the government, install a puppet one and go into a bloodthirsty a war where they lost hundreds of thousands of inhabitants...

On the other hand, only a year and a half later, they prevented a coup in Turkey against Erdogan in a country where there are no Russians, only Muslims, and their interest is far less...

Very very strange, especially since the Syrians were their allies, gave them military bases in strategic positions, etc.

Ukrainian advisers provided help to the terrorists.
Ukraine is losing territories massively in its country, and the Russians are gaining...
If the Ukrainian advisers have time under these circumstances, how come the Russians don't have the resources even though they have 2 bases there, the army, planes, they hold the territories and the help of the Iranians and the Syrian army?

Not to mention how the whole operation cost them billions and to bribe, for example, radicals from former Soviet Muslim countries, about 10,000 of them would perhaps cost several tens of millions of dollars, which is not a large amount, and they would keep their positions because it is easier to defend than to attack and more the Russians give them air support.
It is obvious that Syria was sold in some agreement.
.For what we have yet to see...

Meanwhile here in Canada there is an unending Postal Strike. Government is saying it’s not giving them what they want. Small businesses will be suffering again. I wonder if this too is part of the Great Reset somehow. Ordering from Amazon is the only way to get things in….everything online. Businesses suffering. Hmmmm
Any thoughts on this from fellow Canadians.

I am considering the possibility of the current heir to the Hashemite throne in Syria, Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, being internationally appointed as the perfect leader for Syria's transition and peacebuilding process. He is a living descendant of the Prophet Muhammad and has an impressive résumé, including having held a high-ranking position at the United Nations.

Prince Zeid bin Ra'ad bin Zeid al-Hussein (Arabic: زيد ابن رعد الحسين; born 26 January 1964) is a Jordanian former diplomat who is the Perry World House[1] Professor of the Practice of Law and Human Rights at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also the president and CEO of the International Peace Institute.[2] He also served as United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights from 2014 to 2018.[3] He played a central role in the establishment of the International Criminal Court, and was elected the first president of the Assembly of State Parties of the International Criminal Court in September 2002. He also served as a political affairs officer in UNPROFOR in the former Yugoslavia from 1994 to 1996.
A career diplomat, he served as Jordan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2000 until 2007, when he was appointed as Jordan's Ambassador to the United States and non-resident Ambassador to Mexico. He was re-appointed Permanent Representative in 2010 and served until 2014, resigning shortly before his selection as High Commissioner.[4] In 2019, Zeid was invited to join The Elders, an independent group of global leaders working for peace, justice and human rights founded by Nelson Mandela.[5]

He is the son of Prince Ra'ad bin Zeid, Lord Chamberlain of Jordan, and Swedish-born Margaretha Inga Elisabeth Lind, subsequently known as Majda Raad.[3] As the United Nations does not permit the use of royal or other titles by its officials in the context of their official work, he was known as Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein in his capacity as United Nations High Commissioner.[6][improper synthesis?] He is the apparent first in line to the thrones of the defunct Kingdom of Iraq and Arab Kingdom of Syria according to the mainstream claim.

It is difficult to say which country in the west is being destroyed the most, but as far as I follow demography, statistics and finally politics, I think that Canada is at the very top.
The replacement of the inhabitants is the fastest, namely the European one that made Canada what it is, raised it culturally, economically and made it a country of world renown with mass migration from Africa and Asia to the extent that this process takes place at a speed of 1-1.5% per year which is terrible. Every year, over 500,000 new migrants per population, which in 2011 had about 30 million inhabitants, and now has already exceeded about 40 million.

A balkanized country divided on social, racial, religious and national grounds will be created, which will have no links between people and where riots can always be created according to the wishes of those in charge. I better not talk about the pressure on the healthcare system, real estate and infrastructure in general...

Our people (Croats) who have been there for decades say that their streets have become unrecognizable in just a few years and a large part of them are planning to return, and some have already returned.

In the 70s, 80s and early 90s, Canada was probably the most desirable place to live next to Scandinavian countries like Sweden. Now these are the two countries most affected by cultural Marxism.
I hope that you continue to live in a safe environment and that such changes have passed you by.

I don't want to go on and on about it because it is such a depressing subject but it was very, very weird indeed that Papa Frankie did not attend the reopening of Notre Dame even though the French Bishops invited him to go there.

    Very,very weird indeed .
