Just a reminder that St. Andrew's Novena begins Nov 30, and ends on Christmas Eve. The prayer is recited 15 times a day, and it is piously believed that whoever prays this novena will obtain the favor they request. Our Lord blessed me with two amazing personal miracles that I attribute to this beautiful Christmas novena. Your prayer may be answered in the most unexpected way.
Well... my 3-year-old daughter is begging me for a baby sister, so I guess I'll take the plunge and give this a try. But if God grants me this, He better send me more grace and patience too.
I remember one year when I started the divine mercy novena the day before the feastday. I don't know if Heaven accepted it, but on Faith I did it and would do it again even if I forgot until the day before.
St. Andrew novena starts tomorrow: Recite the above prayer 15 times a day from November 30 to December 24
Thank you for the timely reminder, dear Jo. I once had this novena on my phone, as the screen background. I will do this again right now. The blue picture that you posted on the left is what I had saved to old phone as a background. Now, I am going to start praying. Please pray that I may preserve with the novena this time. I am such a slacker.
I will pray for you, Michael. I put a daily reminder on my phone so I don't forget to say the novena. It's one of my favorites, and it helps me to stay focused on Jesus's birth throughout the busy weeks before Christmas.
Thank you so much. I have re-installed the blue screen you posted as the background wallpaper of my phone. Also, I have started the novena, for the strengthening of my marriage, the protection of my kids, the conversion of my family overseas, all souls in purgatory, for healing, and for next steps in terms of business and investment. I hope this is not too much, I am always so greedy when it comes to intentions. Please dear all, correct me, if this over the top. Please let me know if you think I am doing something wrong. May God bless you all muchly. I will also continue to pray for all forum members and their friends and loved ones, via our family Rosaries.
