That's the prayer on the Miraculous Medal. I have two different ones, one of them is in Latin and the other one, the one I currently wear, is in English and it says the same: O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

Sometimes I pray this in a moment I'm feeling confused or even starting to get frustrated or angry. It helps too.

Hi Mario, it's not disappointment, it is sheer terror at the sight of this ghastly societal disintegration.
We will end up being beset by marauding gangs in broad daylight. I dream in a way, of fleeing this country and moving instead to Australia. Because I fear that we will end up being driven out of this country because we " colonized " the natives. Now the natives are angry. Yet they were literally saved from a life in which inter tribal warring and cannibalism were the Order of the day.

Our country is very beautiful.in a geographical sense. But it no longer feels very safe - and we need to feel safe if we are going to bring children into the world. I think I would feel safer living in Australia - they have natives too, but not like ours. Ours are fierce, and warring is in their blood. Some tatoo their entire faces and look truly fearsome. Many belong to motorcycle gangs. I'm looking for a dinghy so I can sail across the ocean.

Is moving to Australia possible for you? If it is a realistic alternative then it is something to pursue sooner rather than later.
I had no idea of the state of things in NZ. I was there 8 years ago and it seemed incredibly tranquil.( I was in Auckland) Is this from bad governance? Your prime minister during covid was not impressive. Very dictatorial as I recall.
What you fear is echoed in a different way here with the flood of illegal migrants. I hope you are able to emigrate to Australia and that it is not a lengthy process.

Thank you, AED. I am a grandmother now, and am 62. I wish to go in part for the sake of my 4 adult children and my only grandchild. But the problem for me is that if I do go, I cannot get the retirement pension. I need that to survive, but I would not qualify for it in Australia.

What has happened here is that over the past few years, "colonization" has become a bad word. Whereas I always saw it as fortunate that NZ was colonized - as the Maori were living in difficult and primitive tribal conditions and they were constantly warring and raiding between tribes. It must have been such a difficult existence for them, with no peace. And of course no Gospel. No real hope. Just bloodshed and fear.

But now we, the "colonizers" are seen as ruthless theives who stole the land and I feel we will eventually be driven out. It's a sense I have, of impending doom, which I did not have a decade ago.

I totally understand. You are locked in, in a sense. That must be a horrible feeling. That sense of impending doom is coming on people all over the world for all sorts of reasons. There is something spiritual about it as well as physical. I keep thinking of Jesus warning that " men will faint with fear for what they see coming upon the world" It seems we may be arriving at that point. And the Church at the top echelon is dismantling itself. Truly horrifying . The only thing I know to do is pray and receive the sacraments as frequently as I can. Not much comfort in my answer I know but I do understand something if what you feel.

I will pray for you and your family. Your discouragement is palatable.:( Do you enjoy any support and friendship at your parish or in your neighborhood. Trying times indeed. We must look to Jesus and His Holy Mother, placing ourselves under her protective Mantle. And we are always here to pray for you and with you! In times of weariness and discouragement I love the assurance provided by Isaiah 40:

    28 Do you not know?
    Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
    and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
    They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

It is true that our Pope Francis often says things and does things that raise my blood pressure. However, I will be eternally gratefully of his consideration and oversight of the confirmation of a Eucharistic Miracle that took place in his Diocese in the 1990s. Any Protestant that looks at this proven and substantiated miracle will be threatened with conversion to the Catholic Faith. Alleluia!

It may be questionable too why this eucharistic miracle is not more publicised? Why is it behind a brick wall now with no mention of it in the church surrounds? Are there similarities with the suppression of the Akita miracles? Personally, I don't know but I might let Pope Francis or the local prelate off the hook because it might open up a veritable can of worms if it was publicised. What I mean by that is that further scientific investigations might lead in a direction which could challenge doctrines of the Church and could be injurious to the faith of believers. But that is a personal thought which occurs to me.

Thank you AED. Our country has certainly enjoyed peace for over 100 years, once the British Crown established their system of law and order here, with army, police, courts, Judges and prisons. And with intermarriage between the settlers and Maori, there are many people here of mixed ancestry too, who want the peace to continue. But there is a really bad element which seems to be getting more brazen and lawless. An example ; a little child was killed recently by the abuse of his mum? or mums boyfriend? or mums female friend? - they were all living together and no one has yet been charged as the situation is murky. But the name of this little boy was " Ruthless Empire". That is what the mother named him. As an insult to the British Empire or colonizers. And then she did not protect him from other malevolent people that she allowed into his life and home. We have quite a high rate of these tragic infant or child deaths by violence here, among a really sad subset of society. It is usually people who are in charge of looking after the child that are the perpetrators. It's as if we are descending into barbarity as a society.

Is there 100% certainty. How can we measure that? The factor which most positively points to its authenticity were the conclusions reached by the renowned scientist who reported his findings: Jewish pathologist, Dr. Frederic Zugibe. His work points to what amounts to be an inexplicable ( by scientific standards) miracle, which ultimately led to him embracing the Catholic Faith.

Persons who attack the findings and who refuse to believe (I do not refer to you), don't do so based on evidence, but because of their personal prejudices. It is the devil who wants it behind a brick wall, after all. So it is and so it will be. Even the astounding and positive results of the recent examination of the Shroud will be ignored and covered over by those who hate the Light!

But the mind of others will be converted and a number of those will enter into the abode of the Catholic Church. Let us be grateful for that, whether they be many or few! God be praised whatever the vehicle that brings them HOME!

THE CURTAIN BEING OPENED TO A FINAL TESTING, IS CLOSE.

Let us be faithful witnesses as the curtain be opened, even if that means our martyrdom, for the blood of the saints produces many conversions!

    Alleluia!

Let us take hope in the attached clip by Ralph Martin who goes over the history of the 4th century concerning Arianism's ongoing attack against Truth even after the Council of Nicaea.

These days are also difficult, indeed, but Christ will never abandon His Bride! We need to constantly pray!

I don't doubt the veracity of the miracles at all, Mario. Technically, 100% certainty could only be achieved if the modern analytical methods were employed in conjunction with documented chain of custody. In this case the latter is missing but the probability of any fraud is so miniscule that I would say the certainty of the miracle in question (there were in fact 5 instances) is approaching 100% asymptotically.

That is true. And so it is implied that the devil is using Pope Francis and the local Bishop to suppress the miracles. After all the Pope has never to my knowledge spoken about it and he was the Archbishop at the time. But, is satan not also capable of using scientists and the various levels of the media to muddy the waters and create not just doubts but a complete undermining of faith in the Divinity of Christ?

That is my contention because if the miracle was publicised it would lead to it being investigated further using scientific methods. I can conceive of a variety of possible scenarios which could lead to a circus in the media which could undermine the faith of believers or those who have the potential to become believers.

Where ever there is white blood cells and tissues we know that the modern genomic and forensic DNA-based methods can be employed. Some would say - let these methods be used to analyse the samples and let the chips fall where they may. However, should the Church allow these methods to be used?

Due to a certain amount of scientific and garrulous inquisitiveness on my part, I would like to know if the cardiac tissue matches the DNA of a South American or a Middle Eastern person? If it matched the former, I would still see this as a great miracle sign by God. But if it matched that of a person from the Middle East or Israel, we may well expect that this tissue is the actual Body of Christ. And then the frenzy begins ... Questions of the chromosomal constitution of the tissue. Questions concerning the Virgin Birth. Should the Church trust the atheist scientists and media to come to the right conclusions. So while it may seem that Pope Francis and the Bishops may suppress such miracles due to a doubt or lack of appreciation of God's ability to work miracles in the modern day, perhaps there are other prudential considerations at play or at least a serendipitous lack of trust in atheistic science and the media to handle such issues in a manner conducive to the Faith.

One of the problems I see with Australia and New Zealand is that both countries have recently passed laws which give the government the right to use force to vaccinate people.
I wouldn't be surprised if the divisions between the New Zealand natives and others are purposefully being stirred up to cause violent conflict. Pitting groups against each other seems to be a commonly used tactic of the Satanic people who are trying to control the world. In other countries migrants serve the same purpose.
