thanks LInda, I do hope you stay. sounds like you have a very good relationship with your spiritual advisors. He also sounded like he knew of some of the inner-goings on at the vatican, which is very, very interesting. Poor benedict. I can't even imagine the politics that goes on there. not everyone is cut out for that crap. I was, and will continue to pray for both
Hi Linda, What strange times we live in. The US backs Al Queda as they kill Christians in Syria, and Russia is looking for ways to stop the war and find peace. Any perspective on this situation would be great. Thanks and may God continue to bless you.
That was my thought about this part too: Still you must pray As those who are prayerful and follow faithfully My Will Shall be saved from the horror of the skies. Those who Love Me and are faithful will not suffer. We've had threads about whether there will be safe places to be in the future. Remember the priests surviving the atomic blast in Hiroshima? And about the praying for Pope Emeritus Benedict. I know many people in prayer have been given a specific thing or person to pray about. The visionaries at Medjugorje were all given specific things to pray about. It does not mean that you do not pray for other things, Pope Francis, peace ect. Being told by the Lord to pray for Benedict may just be Linda's specific thing to pray for.
Well,as previously mentioned,I did infact have breakfast with Linda today. I truly wish you all could have been there . We talked for 2 hours this morning. I definitely came away with a very good feeling about her. She is under the scrutiny of the church (her pastor and other priests ) and is asking them to review the messages before posting on her site. To date, they have not found any "red flags". She said that she was happy to have received a lot of private emails from our members ,supporting her. The last thing she wants is any confrontation or cause any disruption on our forum. She is praying daily for discernment as whether she will continue posting here. She is a daily communicant, and spends time in Eucharistic adoration (where some of the messages are given , which I personally thought was a good indication ). We talked extensively about the Warning, Miracle & possible Chastisement. Her revelations were very similar to the prophecies of Garabandal. Linda has several qualities that reminded me of Conchita 1. She does not concern herself with who believes her. 2. She does not try to convince anyone of the messages. ( non-confrontational ) 3. She genuinely believes God will take care of the spreading of the messages ,even though she's unworthy to receive them. ( faith & humilty ) 4. She dispenses the messages, even though she may not understand all the messages completely. 5. Not well educated in the catechism, but a simplistic orthodox faith. 6. Daily communicant & Eucharistic adoration. 7. Completely obedient to church authority . All in all, She is an open book, she hides nothing and considering all the above,I hope she continues to post here.
Well,..put in that context Hope,..it could mean those who are faithful will not experience Gods wrath,..but then again in the prophecies of Akita (Church approved) Our Lady did say if people do not change,..there would be a chastisment which would not spare the good or the bad. So it sounds like some good will be spared but not all.. what did strike me about what Linda is saying is that the warning is not far off. I do hope Linda will stay. We all need to stand together as things unfold http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YP3cgj7DGc
Good morning everyone. Sorry for the late (or early??) post. For someone without a "real" job, I am remarkably busy. I had a nice time with Glenn yesterday (thanks for my analysis, Glenn...lool). It's always good to have more members of the God Squad in the area. I wanted to say I really appreciate everyone's words of kindness here. As Glenn indicated, I am praying about whether to stay. I don't want to make a big deal of it. I'm not sure I would contribute much anyway beyond the occasional, "Wow, that's cool." I find your insights and comments very thought-filled. If you ever have questions for me, you can always fine me through the God's Messages site. Anyway, I'm praying about it. God leads; I follow. There was a discussion a while back about another passage from December 7th that I wanted to comment on because I believe it needed to be taken in the context of the entire message. I ask you to remember that the asterisks mean there were pieces of the message that could not be revealed, so it could lend itself to misunderstandings. The message reads: Still you must pray As those who are prayerful and follow faithfully My Will Shall be saved from the horror of the skies. Those who Love Me and are faithful will not suffer. **** These (skies) will not destroy all. This is not the warning. If you will step back from this and remember the asterisks and that lack of context, you can accept that this line is interpreted as: Those who "will not suffer" because they are devout and faithful will not suffer in hell. In other words, they won't be going to hell. I realize the lack of the additional information opens the door to misunderstandings and this can happen in many places within the messages. The best I can do is clarify as best as possible, but not within the messages themselves, really. I'm not supposed to, or rather, my inputs are supposed to be really limited. I hope this clarifies what is meant. I know that we all do suffer here on earth, and while it sounds unintuitive to say this, suffering is really a blessing. It is God giving you a scrub down before you die so you get a chance to skip Purgatory because you've already paid your dues while you were living. At least, that's how He explained it to me. I think He mentions it in January a little bit when He talks about people losing their children. He was really worried about parents hating him. But losing a child is a huge suffering and He knows that from personal experience, even though He got His Son back. Different ending, but He understands the pain. Well, that's my two cents. I'll check back later. Please remember that my view on God is very simple. I told Glenn that I really don't see God as that complicated or difficult. In fact, when I was a kid, I used to think God lived on the East Coast. So you get the gist. God blesses, Linda www.gods-messages-for-us.com

It is a strange world. I think finding an answer means choosing the least of all evils. If Russia's solution prevents an all out war, even if it means that the US cannot respond sternly or with force to the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government (as world law dictates), it is the least of all evils in my opinion. Of course, it is unlikely that Syria will relinquishes all of the chemical weapons they "really don't have." It is a true chessboard but unfortunately the pieces are people's lives. If the Syrian government is permitted to stay in power, it and Hezbollah will work with Iran to demolish Israel - and likely they will try to strike the US. Hence, the US sides with the rebels and by association, with Al Qaeda - the people who already hate us, to protect Israel. Even more ironic is our history of supporting Bin Laden in fighting the Russians, only to have him turn on us and bring down two of our country's most beautiful structures along with 3000 odd civilians. More ironic still is that our president had been promoting the Muslim Brotherhood through the Arab Spring two years ago which helped put Assad in power in the first place. Christians, which make up (I think) 10% of the Syrian population are being decimated by the Muslims who we are trying to help. I do believe that if the US steps in militarily, whether it's through drone strikes, true air support or boots, it will result in the start of WWIII. If that were to happen, it would provide us with yet more irony - the first two World Wars began as small concerns in the Middle East. Perhaps "strange" is not the right world. Hateful came to mind. It bothers me so much because the fathers teach their sons to continue the cycle of hate, so to achieve peace looks more and more impossible... Of course, God loves doing the impossible...lol. I am not sure what the Bible says about war - if it is ever justified. I do know what God has told me about taking a life. It is a sin, regardless of the circumstances. It you murder someone during a crime; if you issue capital punishment, pull the handle, had a hand in the decision; if you have an abortion, including because you suffered a rape, if you are a supporter of abortion, or a doctor who provides them; and if you kill during wars - it's all considered a sin. He says only He can take away what He has given - life. When people argue about abortion, they will often say that a woman's body has its own "natural abortions" or miscarriages when something is "wrong" with the baby, so abortions are justified. Clearly this is not true based on God's words. He is merely taking back what He has given, for whatever reason. I know I jumped from war to abortion, but the tie is the sin of murder. The sick truth is we have to find a way that creates fewer murders - the least of all evils: how many Syrians are killed v. government troops v. Christians v. Israel v. children hit by chemical weapons. We have to keep praying. This level of darkness makes God soooooo sad. If you could feel His sadness...it is such a weight.
God holds you while your child lights up Heaven. If I could, I would let you feel the joy that I am allowed to experience when God talks about children. He is almost speechless with such full and happy and joyous love. They cannot contain themselves in Heaven when the children are playing. Everything is "big" joy. I can't explain it right, but I wish you could feel it. I know it would help your heart. I'm praying for you. God bless. Linda
Hello Fatima, It is from the May 1st message and yes, all killings, including war and self defense constitute sin, but I also know that God is compassionate. He also says to seek repentance and He forgives. Here is the passage. I am adding a sort of story too that I sent to someone earlier today that kind of explains some of my view about sinning. But first: (From May 1st - the subject was abortion) Children, I implore you to see the faces of the babies that are killed each day. Eyes yet to open and view this world with a sustained smile. Oh Mothers, why? Do not do these murders, for it is what you do. When one is destined for life, it is murder. Only I have the right, and it is just, and the power to give a life and take it back. That decision is for Me and Me alone. You cannot murder and be with Me. You cannot kill adults in death chairs. You cannot kill people with bombs and bullets and grenades and knives. You cannot kill each other with poisons. And you cannot burn and dismantle babies in the womb. This is My Commandment and it is so. Those who knowingly choose to break this Commandment will need to repent and do so soon. He is unequivocal about it. I think, though, that with the exception of some, people who fight in wars or self defense don't feel particularly good about having killed someone, so contrition is already in their hearts. It is more a matter of talking to Jesus about it and allowing Him to heal you through His Love and forgiveness. The the story I mentioned is about people and our inability to get to Heaven without God’s help. Nobody can get to Heaven on their own, period. End of story. Do not pass Go, etc. Now humor me. Pretend that the only way we can get into Heaven is by jumping to the moon by our own volition and strength (no space shuttles or jet). Picture it. Some of us might have just broken a leg skiing and would not be able to jump at all. Others might be able to jump up around a foot high like me (I flunked physical education in high school...lol). The elderly would try to jump but a few might fall and break a hip and they'd be in a lot of trouble. You might have a few average jumpers who could get up to three feet in the air. Others still would be fantastic jumpers like Olympic athletes or basketball stars like Michael Jordan. The things is, no matter who jumps, whether he or she is the best jumper or worst, clearly none of us can ever make it to the moon by jumping. No one is getting anywhere close! Not me, not Michael Jordan, and not Mrs. Smith up the road. The jumping is kind of like our sins. We all sin. Some sins are bigger than others. Some people sin a lot and make bigger mistakes; some do a little better. It differs from person to person. We all try to do our best for the most part, but none of us is getting into Heaven no matter how good or bad we are without God’s help. So God gives us our own customized rocket boosters for our feet to shoot us to the moon. That’s what His forgiveness is - rocket boosters that get us there to Heaven, regardless of how well we can jump or how much we sin. All we have to do is ask for the boosters and follow His instructions on how to use them. Going back to your question of whether a WWII soldier killing during war is a sin, yes. It is. Whether it's a big sin or a small sin in God's eyes, I don't know. I'm not supposed to judge. That's His job and I don't want it. But looking at the big picture again, I do know that no matter what any one of us does, He will grant us His Mercy if we're truly sorry and try our very, very best to not do bad things. And pray pray pray. That's why He's so cool. My two cents! God bless, www.gods-messages-for-us.com
This is a piece of scripture that I have always had trouble understanding, reconciling with the the God of love, from 1 Samuel, chapter 15. 1Samuel said to Saul: “It was I the LORD sent to anoint you king over his people Israel. Now, therefore, listen to the message of the LORD.a 2Thus says the LORD of hosts: I will punish what Amalek did to the Israelites when he barred their way as they came up from Egypt.b 3Go, now, attack Amalek, and put under the ban* everything he has. Do not spare him; kill men and women, children and infants, oxen and sheep, camels and donkeys.”c
Thank you for responding. I have highlighted in red what the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in this area. This one is in reference to self defense. 2264 Love toward oneself remains a fundamental principle of morality. Therefore it is legitimate to insist on respect for one's own right to life. Someone who defends his life is not guilty of murder even if he is forced to deal his aggressor a lethal blow: If a man in self-defense uses more than necessary violence, it will be unlawful: whereas if he repels force with moderation, his defense will be lawful.... Nor is it necessary for salvation that a man omit the act of moderate self-defense to avoid killing the other man, since one is bound to take more care of one's own life than of another's.
