I used to think the same until i saw a video of Sam Shamoun Live debate yesterday. You will find it from the 3hr 20 mins mark with St. Paul's teachings right till the end of video.
I gave up writing about Papa Frankie quite some time ago. Why? Well in the first place because I find it very upsetting, a bit like trying to swim in some great swirling sewage tank. Also I started to ask myself the question of , 'What good are you doing even thinking about the awful guy?' Anyone who had not seen him for what he really was by that time..well..maybe never were. So I gave the subject up and left it. This gave me great peace and happiness. I have found the less I think about him the better of I am. I will not comment too much on his recent remarks; other people like holy and brave Bishop Strickland would do so in a much better way than I ever could. But I would have one question for you to pray about and sleep on. Can someone who is said to be Pope publically teach blatant and repeated serious heresy still be considered a Pope? Now imagine you are a shepherd and have a beloved sheep dog called Frankie whom you entrust with the guarding of your flock. One day you look out the window of your farm and see that the trusted dog , Frankie is chasing the sheep running them down, killing them and eating them. Not only that but your big sheep dog has invited others into the sheep pen and they too are running riot. Now my question to you is, would you consider Frankie any longer to be a sheep dog of would you consider him now as a wolf and just as dangerous? Do you consider Papa Frankie really is Pope?
I'm not able to follow my own advice, but to paraphrase the people of South Armagh in their attitude to the members of the then occupying British Army: "Don't even ignore him", for to ignore him is to give him too much attention. In my own life, meeting people from day to day, I find that nobody ever mentions Pope Francis in conversation. My Parish Priest never mentions him in sermons. He does pray for him in the liturgy of the Mass, but that is right and proper because PF certainly needs our prayers. None of the other priests in my immediate area mentions Pope Francis, or anything he says, in their sermons, as far as I've experienced. So, hopefully, most people in the Church are not even ignoring him and his heretical comments are having no more impact upon them than the flatuosity of a midge upon the surface of the waters of the Grand Coolee Dam.
One can only listen to a "clanging gong" for so long. What else is there to do after so many years but to just tune it out.... 1 Corinthians 13 13:1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. Lk 6:30 Give to every one that asketh thee: and of him that taketh away thy goods, ask them not again. ~ ~ Haydock Jesus Christ does not order us never to refuse a petition: but the meaning of his words is, that we are to give what is just and reasonable, what will be neither injurious to yourself nor your family; for what is unjustly asked, may be justly denied.
I have kinda given up on him. I pray for him but one has to consider if the papacy is vacant at present. There are way too many anomalies about Benedict's resignation. Now we have outright heresy. I keep remembering the statue of St Peter in Argentina being struck by lightning. The halo and the keys were blown to smithereens. That confirmed things for me.
Yes i remember that too. Malachi Martin warned that we would be without the comfort and support of the papacy. Perhaps we are there. I pray for his salvation with every rosary. But i am at a loss to know what else to pray for. I figure the salvation of his soul comes first.
It is clear by his teachings that he is not a Catholic, if he ever really was. The logical question then is, can someone who is not a Catholic be the Pope of the Catholic Church? It just does not seem to me to be logical that this could be so. How could it be? Can a circle be square or a square, round? Can something be both black and white at the same time? I don't have to ask myself a lot of deep questions about this came to be, it is just simple logic. As to what the guy actually believes in who can say? Its I suppose a kind of Woodstock joint smoking hippy stuff from the 1960's. A kind of whatever, whenever, however be cool thing with Marxist overtones. A kind of believing in whatever you think to be cool just at that present moment. But our first loyalty as Christians must be to the truth rather than hierarchy and organisation.

An apostate from the faith, a heretic or a schismatic incurs a latae sententiae excommunication, without prejudice to the provision of can. 194 § 1 n. 2; he or she may also be punished with the penalties mentioned in can. 1336 §§ 2-4. 2. If a long-standing contempt or the gravity of scandal calls for it, other penalties may be added, not excluding dismissal from the clerical state. Can. 1365— A person who, apart from the case mentioned in canon 1364 § 1, teaches a doctrine condemned by the Roman Pontiff, or by an Ecumenical Council, or obstinately rejects the teaching mentioned in canon 750 § 2 or canon 752 and, when warned by the Apostolic See or the Ordinary, does not retract, is to be punished with a censure and deprivation of office; to these sanctions others mentioned in can. 1336 §§ 2-4 may be added. A latae sententiae excommunication is automatic. They bring it on themselves in response to their actions.
I think if you were to ask Papa Frankie if he believed in something or other he might give you a very firm decided answer. Then if you were to ask him the very same question six months or a year or ten years later he would very probably give you a very different answer. If then, confused you were to point out to him that you had given a very different answer than he had given previously he would indicate that he had, 'Matured', or, 'Progressed', or , 'Deepened' in his thoughts and that he was in a new place now. Which is just another way of saying he didn't really believe in anything much at all very deeply or at all. As a matter of fact I would not be surprised if his ideas changed in even a few hours.
