The thing is that most of the dinosaurs might have been wiped out during the flood. What I mean by this is that typically when an animal dies, other animals pick apart the carcass and spread out the bones. The only way you get an intact skeleton is if the whole creature was buried. So the dinosaurs drown and get covered in sediment immediately. As well, over time the bones will decompose if exposed to the elements. It's the same with trees. If a tree dies, sediment doesn't build up around it. It dies and turns to dust. But geologists figure that the sediment layers around the bones and petrified wood indicate the age of what is buried, which is a joke. As well, the human genome has been deteriorating for the last 6 thousand years, which indicates that we do have two common ancestors from which we descend. I also have yet to see any sort of missing link between creatures of supposedly different periods. In addition, no one knows the origins of the book of Genesis. Many claim it was written by Moses. In which case he had some kind of information transmitted to him from God for an origin story which he did not participate in directly. Jesus treated Genesis as a historical book. There is also evidence in the gospels to suggest that it was Jesus who interacted with Adam and Eve. Even the way the gospel of John is written has direct correlations with Genesis. Jesus died because he wanted to save man who is fallen. The whole narrative of the Bible regards this. Jesus was predicted to come over something like 100 times through the course of the Old Testament. The Bible doesn't fail, ever. This is what makes it so amazing.
